Chapter 41 The Fall of Chandrapuri Bloody Moonlight
The moon in the sky was full tonight but its light held no coolness only a strange bitterness Chandrapuri once famous for its white marble walls and peaceful lakes was now drowned in the silence of death
On the highest rampart of the palace stood King Veerendra and Queen Lata In their hands were silver gleaming swords that absorbed the moon rays and shone even brighter Before them stood Nirag
The same Nirag whom they had once seen laughing and playing with their daughter Sheetal today looked like a living Yamraj One of his eyes was blue one was red and on his forehead was that third black eye the eye of the Void yearning to swallow existence itself
Step back Nirag King Veerendra voice echoed You have stained your hands with the blood of Agni and Neer but the elements of Chandrapuri will reduce you to ashes
A terrifying smile appeared on Nirag face He said no words just extended his right hand forward Suddenly black fire Void Fire began rising in flames around him
The Conch of War
Queen Lata closed her eyes and performed the Chandra Aahvaan In moments the water of the lakes around the palace began rising into the air This was no ordinary water charged with the power of the moon it had frozen and become sharp like glass
Chandra Vrishti the Queen shouted
Thousands of icy arrows capable of piercing any armor shot towards Nirag But Nirag did not flinch He moved his left hand and summoned the Water element But this water was not blue but deep black Dead Water
As soon as the Queen icy arrows struck Nirag black water they did not melt they rotted Yes Nirag power had changed the very nature of the elements
King Veerendra seized the moment and waved his sword Soma Astra in the air A beam of intense white light shot towards Nirag at lightning speed Chandra Prahar
Nirag used his black fire like a shield When the white moonlight and black fire collided a terrible explosion occurred Half the palace walls collapsed like a house of cards From the smoke Nirag slowly emerged There was not a scratch on his body
The Rampage of Nirag
Is that all Nirag voice sounded as if coming from a grave You take pride in that moonlight which is borrowed light Let me show you true darkness
Nirag stomped his foot on the ground Suddenly the ground of the entire palace cracked From the fissures red lava and black smoke Void began emerging together The soldiers of Chandrapuri who were rushing to help turned to ash in moments
King Veerendra and the Queen combined their powers Yugal Chandra Paash They tried to bind Nirag in chains of moonlight Nirag limbs were shackled in those gleaming chains
For a moment it seemed that perhaps Chandrapuri would win The King thrust his sword towards Nirag chest But then that third eye on Nirag forehead opened
From that eye no light emerged rather it began to absorb the surrounding light itself The moonlight began to dim Nirag chains began to crack
You did not save my parents Nirag whispered and thousands of screams could be heard in his voice Now you too will not be saved
The Climax of Destruction
Nirag raised both his hands into the air With one hand he created a Volcano of Agni and with the other a Tsunami of Neer And then he filled his Void power between them
Tatva Vinaash
An orb was formed half red half blue and completely black in the center Nirag released it towards the center of the palace
The explosion was so terrible that its echo was heard fifty kos away That beautiful palace of Chandrapuri that white marble those peaceful lakes everything turned into a pile of rubble in a single moment
King Veerendra and Queen Lata lay bloodied on the ground The power of their Chandra element had now failed them Nirag slowly walked up to them
Queen Lata tried to touch Nirag foot with her trembling hand Son you were not like this
Nirag looked at them with cold eyes Nirag is dead Queen Mother Now only the end remains
He drew his sword the same sword with which he had ended Agni and Neer In a single stroke the lineage of Chandrapuri was extinguished
The Growing Terror of Nirag
By sunrise Chandrapuri had been erased without a trace Only black ash and the stench of rotting elements remained there Nirag sat amidst that heap of ash as if he were the king of ashes
There was no remorse on his face He looked towards the sky where the first ray of the sun was about to emerge But Nirag no longer even had his own shadow He had become a threat even greater than Andhak Void
This was the moment when the world realized that now no kingdom no element could stop Nirag
