There's a freshers' party tonight ! And I've decided that no matter what , I'm going to propose Peter today .
"Lis can you help me getting ready for the freshers party ? "

Lisa, was actually a really nice person , and in a very short time she became a good friend of mine, and of course we were meant to be good friends because we were roommates.
"So, what are you going to wear tonight? Show me so I can design it myself for you and I will do your makeup too. "
I took out a long gown from my bag, which was also my favourite that I had brought from India, actually I don't particularly like wearing shorts. So I only brought a whole stocks baggy jeans, some loose t-shirts, some long midis and long skirts and this gown with me.

Everyone had champagne and a glass of wine on their hands, which is ofcourse normal in abroad. But my gaze was focused only on finding Peter. After walking a bit i saw him , wearing a white shirt and black pants. He was actually looking really handsome in it , I wanted to go to him but I didn't have the courage to go near him, but Lisa took my hand and led me to Peter.
"Uhh , hello , peter , Excuse me .. can i bother you a little ?"
Lisa said to Peter as soon as she took me there ..
"Umm , yeah sure "
"Can you be Natasha's pair for today , as you know this party is for couples and Natasha and I can't be together and Natasha doesn't know anyone here except you, you know she will be a little uncomfortable with other boys, so can you become Natasha's partner please ?. "

The music started playing and everyone went to the dance floor with their partners. Peter also extended his hand towards me and asked me to dance. I also said yes and started dancing with him. I felt that there could not be a better opportunity than this to propose. So I thought that I would talk to Peter while dancing, but before I could talk, a hand came towards me and pulled my hand and I fell into the arms of the unknown person holding that hand. As soon as I opened my eyes, that unknown person was none other than Alex, who snatched me away from peter and started dancing with me. Peter angrily walked up to Alex and punched him. The entire party hall went silent for a moment.
"Woah , It was a pretty strong punch, so I was not wrong, this Indian girl is really your girlfriend." Alex said while giving an evil smile after that punch on his face which caused his mouth bleeding.
"Whether she is my girlfriend or not what's your problem with that ? stay away from my personal matters , I'm warning you ! "
"Okay , okay I got that , but I have to admit, it has been only a week since this girl came and you impressed her so quickly, wow bro, amazing , I'm impressed."
"Natasha, Let's go somewhere else, it's useless to talk to this man."
Peter took me away from there. And everything was ruined, it was such a great opportunity to propose Peter but it was all ruined because of that asshole Alex , I fuckin' hate him for ruining my proposal !
