"Hmm?" Karl narrowed his eyes slightly.
He hadn't interacted much with Kasha, but from her tone, it seemed she knew him from before, and their relationship was at least familiar.
"I have no past memories." Seeing her reaction, Karl immediately changed his strategy and retorted, "Lord Kasha, do you know me?"
Kasha's gaze swept across his face, as if checking if he was lying, then, seeing his clear eyes, a flicker of disappointment crossed her own.
"Get out. You are too weak now, completely devoid of conquest value."
"Ah?" Karl grew anxious; he genuinely wanted to be conquered.
Of course, he meant physically.
With a dominant Mature beautiful older sister type like Kasha, any pose she put him in would definitely trigger a new pose judgment.
"Weakness or strength isn't just a single, independent dimension of the body." Karl looked up, staring into Kasha's eyes, "Give me eight hundred men, and I will conquer Snow Peak Fortress in fifteen days!"
"Oh?" Kasha raised an eyebrow, hearing such a statement for the first time, only feeling puzzled.
Seeing her silence, Karl immediately spoke, "Ten days! Give me ten days, and I will conquer Snow Peak Fortress!"
Kasha only then realized the meaning behind his words and frowned, "Snow Peak Fortress cannot be conquered in ten days."
She had been fighting here for half a month, and though it was for training and she hadn't used her full strength, she was still on the defending side.
General Leona had commanded skillfully, using ten thousand soldiers to resist wave after wave of the Monster Beast Legion's attacks.
Now, with the Snow Wolf Legion entering the city, the problem of insufficient high-end combat power in Snow Peak Fortress was immediately resolved.
In contrast, the Monster Beast Legion, after this battle, had already seen the disparity in strength between them.
Kasha herself doubted she could conquer Snow Peak Fortress in ten days.
"If I conquer it, please Lord Kasha, grant me one request!" Karl's gaze was firm.
Kasha narrowed her eyes. She knew Karl's request was nothing more than for him to conquer her as a dragon, but she only found it amusing. As dragons, only absolute strength could conquer a mate.
"Speak."
She still intended to wait for Karl to finish before informing this foolish, amnesiac younger brother that among dragons, only power meant everything.
"If I win, please Lord Kasha, step on me with your bare feet!" Karl said with a serious expression.
He was very certain that if the dominant Kasha gave him a foot job, it would definitely increase his power.
Then, if he custom-ordered a pair of transparent stockings for those two-meter-long legs, he couldn't even imagine how exhilarating it would be.
"?" As a long-lived dragon, Kasha had never heard such a strange request in her entire life… Karl emerged from the tent and saw Furan still waiting outside.
Furan saw him walk out with a leisurely expression, and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.
"Lord Kasha called for you."
Karl smiled, pointing to the tent.
"Hmm." Furan nodded and entered the tent, where she saw Kasha sitting on the throne, her eyes strange and her expression puzzled.
It was the first time Furan had seen such an expression on the usually imposing Kasha's face.
"Lord Kasha?"
Kasha raised an eyebrow, seemingly just snapping back to attention. "Karl said he would conquer Snow Peak Fortress within ten days. If he succeeds, he wants me to step on him with my feet as a reward. What does he mean by this?"
"Ah?" Furan, who had always served as Kasha's strategist and was quite knowledgeable, was truly baffled this time.
Seeing Furan's bewildered expression, Kasha realized her subordinate didn't understand either. She waved her hand, no longer dwelling on it. "You coordinate the battle movements according to his request."
"Understood, Lord Kasha." Furan nodded. She didn't believe Karl could conquer Snow Peak Fortress in ten days.
But she could see that Karl was different from any other creature she had encountered.
His timing on the battlefield and his use of Dragon Flame both proved his uniqueness.
Furan was very willing to make some beneficial changes to the battle under his command, as the Monster Beast Legion, while individually brave in battle, their understanding of the battlefield was simply to rush forward en masse.
Outside the tent.
Karl was currently wandering around, gathering information. Once he conquered Snow Peak Fortress, he believed Kasha wouldn't go back on her word and would use her feet to help him cultivate.
It was just that she seemed to know him.
Karl started thinking of Hill. With Hill around, whatever he wanted to know, she could investigate quickly.
When he returned to his tent after a stroll, he saw Furan standing there waiting for him.
He immediately walked over, "Miss Furan, select a hundred loud-voiced individuals to come with me to attack the city!"
"?" Furan.
Chapter 203: Wolf Tribe Maiden
"What do you intend to do?" Furan's charming eyes narrowed, her brows slightly furrowed. It was already night, and after the fierce battle during the day, even with the Monster Beast Legion's formidable stamina, it was difficult to endure the exhaustion of continuous combat.
Moreover, to attack the city with a mere hundred soldiers? That sounded utterly fantastical.
Karl smiled, "Lord Furan, you are now my adjutant. You only need to issue orders according to my requests. I will bear all the consequences."
As he spoke, Karl suddenly realized that they were now in a superior-subordinate relationship.
Then, training a subordinate with strong rebellious tendencies, and engaging in certain plays with her on the battlefield, would most likely be judged as new poses, increasing his strength.
Karl suddenly moved closer to Furan. In her startled gaze, his hand slipped under her clothes, tracing down her flat abdomen, and two fingers quickly entered.
His mouth neared her fox ear, his breath brushing against her earlobe, "You wouldn't want to be scolded by Lord Kasha, would you?"
"Ying!" The fox-girl, naturally sensitive, let out a soft whimper, caught off guard. Her legs went weak, then her body sharply recoiled, putting half a step's distance between them. Her face was flushed with anger, and fury burned in her eyes.
The two were now standing outside the main tent, with people patrolling nearby.
Karl's finger movements just now were very likely to have been seen.
Furan's face alternated between red and white. She stared intently at Karl's indifferent smiling face, took a deep breath to calm herself, and then turned away.
Following Karl's instructions, she went to find suitable soldiers.
Karl watched her graceful retreating figure, then raised his fingers. A thin layer of viscous fluid coated his fingertips. Foxes were truly interesting; not only did they react strongly, but they also had a lot of fluid.
With a little cunning, he could make her resent him while simultaneously being forced into various poses.
This would surely increase his soul power.
Coming to Kasha's faction was truly the right choice.
Furan was highly efficient. Approximately an hour later, over a hundred Goblins and Lizardmen were loosely arrayed before Karl.
They looked at Karl with eyes full of worship and awe.
They had already learned of Karl's dragon identity, and coupled with his single-handed effort on the battlefield during the day to block and drive away the Snow Wolf Legion that had defeated them, Karl's prestige was now second only to Black Dragon King Kasha.
These guys were just that simple.
"Let's go," Karl's gaze swept over the 隊. Some were still injured, but each one was in high spirits. "Let's give the guys in the fortress a little surprise."
"Roar!" The Lizardmen and Goblins waved their weapons, letting out cheers.
No inspiring pep talk was needed; they didn't know exactly what Karl intended to do, but following the strong was their instinct.
Karl turned, leading the Goblins and Lizardmen out of the camp.
Furan stood five meters away, maintaining her distance from Karl, watching his retreating back.
Karl hadn't asked her to follow, but she was genuinely curious about what Karl intended to do with a hundred men.
After a brief hesitation, she chose to follow anyway.
Inside Snow Peak Fortress, sounds of painful gasps were everywhere.
Wounded soldiers were scattered in every corner, sitting or lying, their bodies wrapped in bandages, their expressions pained.
Priests and medics bustled about, and the air was filled with a pungent smell of medicine and blood, making people frown involuntarily.
The expansive black flame Karl had unleashed during the day wasn't highly lethal, but it had caused many Snow Wolf Knights to suffer greatly.
Being touched by the black flame, though not fatal, could burn a hole right through them.
However, the most severely injured were the ten thousand defenders led by Leona.
The Dragon Flame Kasha spat out was far more powerful than Karl's.
Leona's soldiers, standing behind the Snow Wolf Legion, were inexplicably caught in the crossfire.
In the ensuing panic and stampede, over a thousand soldiers were rendered unable to continue fighting.
From a high vantage point, Leona gazed at the soldiers below who were receiving treatment.
His face was extremely grim. The casualties from defending the city hadn't been this high; one charge had cost them a tenth of their forces.
He turned to a female wolf-person beside him, "Dexa, Deputy Commander, I hope you can provide an explanation to the soldiers who fought valiantly in Snow Peak Fortress."
Deputy Commander Dexa was not tall, less than 1.7 meters, a head shorter than Leona. She wore Snow Wolf Cavalry armor and a white fur cloak.
Her posture was straight, with only her wolf ears and the tail behind her reminding people of her wolf tribe identity.
Facing Leona's angry interrogation, Dexa's expression remained unusually cold.
Seeing her so indifferent, Leona couldn't help but feel uneasy.
Although the casualties were indeed caused by the Snow Wolf Legion not coordinating with them, these were, after all, noble lords.
He had questioned her in anger, but now he began to feel apprehensive.
After a moment of silence, Dexa slowly spoke, her voice very cold, "My apologies, Major General Leona. We needed to keep the secret technique confidential, so we did not inform you in advance."
"As the Deputy Commander of the Snow Wolf Legion, I assure you that all soldiers injured in this battle will receive due compensation."
Leona looked at the pretty young woman before him. Her voice was cold, yet she was surprisingly easy to talk to.
He paused for a moment, then quickly recovered.
Clearing his throat, he said seriously, "Ahem, our common goal is to resist those damned monster beasts. The black dragon that appeared today is completely different from the black dragons I've known in the past. Lord Dexa, do you have any clues about this?"
At the mention of Karl, a strong killing intent flashed in Dexa's eyes.
Just then, a cry of alarm suddenly rang out from the city wall:
"Enemy attack!"
"What?!" Leona's eyes widened in disbelief, and he sharply looked towards the top of the wall.
A fierce battle had just ended during the day, and the Monster Beast Legion's casualties were clearly much heavier. Why would they dare to launch another attack at night?
"Lord Dexa, let's go…" Leona hadn't finished his sentence.
When he saw Dexa had already leaped onto the top of the wall.
He didn't dare to delay and quickly followed suit.
Standing on the wall, Leona looked down and saw a line of a hundred people standing in a row about five hundred meters away, shouting. Their voices easily reached their ears in the quiet night.
"Snow Wolf Legion, a disorganized rabble, strong on the outside but weak within, unable to withstand a single blow."
"Lord Karl's defeated opponents, throwing away their armor and fleeing in disarray."
"Defiling the name of the Snow Wolf, a disgrace to the North, bringing shame upon the Oram Family."
"Having the name but not the reality, a pathetic and useless sight."
"I advise you to quickly withdraw your troops, go home and raise pigs instead of trying to be a hero!"
