Kayla stared at amon, slightly surprised by his words.
After which she chuckled, playing along with his joke.
"I guess so."
They two watched joy excuse herself, and return back to commanding the other armed forces to clean up the blood and also question the other civilians around.
Meanwhile, amon excused himself silently.
"Let me crosscheck the house to ensure that everything's where they should be."
Hearing his words kayla nodded, "alright, stay safe." She said with a smile.
Amon nodded and quickly walked with even steps as though he was inspecting the house.
As soon as he used the back door in the kitchen, he glanced around to ensure that no one was studying his movements.
After which, he linked with his communication he had with moon and vanished from his spot.
He'd specifically asked moon to leave jethro alive, so he could ask them him some questions, specifically about who it was that had targeted them this time. He couldnt let such a person go scot free.
