Chapter 159 - Chapter 148 - Hallucinations

In a very messy room, a girl lay sprawled across her bed in complete despair. Her chest pressed flat against the mattress, her back facing upward, her face fully puffed up and buried deep into her pillow flat. She wore a light, oversized white pullover shirt with no buttons, the soft fabric clinging to her slim curves in ways that would even make the shirt itself to shy away. Due to her restless sleeping posture, the shirt had ridden up her lower back, exposing her white panties in full view as they hugged the curves of her ass. Her fully naked legs kicked up and down in pure frustration, her feet drumming against the bed.

"STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! AAAAA! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!!" she wailed into her pillow, her voice muffled but no less anguished. "YOUNG MASTER WILL NEVER LOOK ME IN THE EYE AGAIN!! IT'S OVER FOR ME!!!! I EVEN RUINED OUR FRIENDSHIP!! STUPID! STUPID!!! STUPIDDDD!!!!!!!! MY JOB IS GONE! I CAN'T SEE HIS HANDSOME FACE ANYMORE!! WWAAHHHHH!!!!"

She thrashed harder, her whole-body writhing with regret.

"NOOOOO! I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS!!! I NEED MY CONSTANT DOSE OF HIS HANDSOMENESS!! KYAAAAAA WWWWAAAA!!!"

"Gracie? What happened, sweetheart? Talk to your mom!" a sweet woman's voice called from outside the door, worry threading through every word. "Why did you come home so early? Did something happen at Young Master's house? Gracie, did you again create problems for young master?!"

The girl raised her head up from the pillow. The fabric was completely soaked with her tears, her face was bright red and blotchy, her hair stuck out in every direction, she puffed up her cheeks angrily and shouted.

"GO AWAY! I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW!" she shouted with a cracking voice, her voice breaking with emotion. "I AM DOOMED! I CAN'T SEE YOUNG MASTER ANYMORE! AND WHY DO YOU THINK I HAVE DONE SOMETHING!!!! WWWWWAAHHH!!"

Gracie immediately started her cursing and wailing again, turning around and beating the bed with both her hands and feet in a full-blown tantrum. Her movements made her shirt ride up even more, exposing her smooth slim abodomen as it moved up and down rapidly with her hard movement and her ragged hard breathing.

Her small breasts pressed tightly against the thin fabric of her shirt, their shape clearly outlined, due to the sweat covering her chest and the fact that she wasn't wearing any bra, her nipples could be pointed out if someone looked carefully enough.

"Sighhh, what should I do with that girl?" Gracie's mother muttered to herself as she walked away from the door toward the common area. Their house wasn't large, just two rooms, one common area, and a tiny kitchen, simple but comfortable enough. "Should I send a message to her father? I'm getting a little worried now."

She settled into a chair, wringing her hands anxiously. "Sighhh, because of Young Master's kindness, we could at least live a good life here in this district. I just hope she didn't cause any problems for him. That would break my heart."

TAK TAK TAK

"Hmm? Coming!" Gracie's mother stood up quickly and walked toward the door. She opened it and gasped at what she saw…..a young, handsome man standing there, completely drenched in sweat and breathing hard as if the sun is attacking him specifically.

"Young Master! What!! what are you doing here so suddenly?! And why are you sweating so hard?!" Gracie's mother panicked, seeing him in such a dishevelled state. This wasn't like him at all.

"Auntie, it's so nice to see you," Oliver said warmly, despite his ragged breathing. "It's been quite a while since I came here to visit. HUFF HUFFF….. You're just as lovely as before, you haven't aged even a bit, still looking so beautiful.AAAFFOOOO… I've missed you, Auntie."

Even in his exhausted condition, he spoke with perfect elegance and genuine warmth that made her heart melt.

"Oh my, stop praising this old lady and come inside before you collapse!" Gracie's mother said, though her cheeks flushed with pleasure at his kind words. She happily welcomed him inside, ushering him in with gentle hands.

Oliver stepped through the doorway and took in the house around him. His chest tightened with guilt as he looked at the cramped, modest space. He felt terrible that he hadn't been able to provide more for Gracie and her family…..They deserved better than living in such a congested place. He sat down on the floor as Gracie's mother hurried to bring him cold juice.

"Young Master, did something happen?" she asked with concern as she handed him the glass. "Did she cause any problem? Please forgive that stupid girl if she did something wrong!" Her voice grew more worried. "You know how she is...she always thinks about you constantly. She would never intentionally harm you in any way!"

"NO, NO, Auntie!" Oliver said quickly, waving his hands to dismiss her fears. "Gracie didn't do anything wrong at all! In fact, she helped us tremendously today. She practically helped the Queen herself...we're all deeply grateful to her for what she did."

He paused to take several big gulps of the refreshing juice, draining nearly half the glass.

"I came here because I need to bring her with me for a while. I was the one who told her to go home and rest today, but some sudden things came up, and now I have to take her with me on an urgent task. If that's okay with you, of course."

He finished the juice in a few more large gulps, setting the empty glass down politely.

"Ara, is that so?" Gracie's mother looked utterly confused now. "Then why is that girl acting like the entire world is about to be destroyed? She's been wailing like it's the end of days!"

"HA HA HA!" Oliver laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Why don't you let me talk to her directly? I think I can sort this out."

"Hmm, sure, go ahead," Gracie's mother agreed, picking up the empty glass as Oliver stood and made his way toward Gracie's room.

TAK TAK

"GO AWAY!!" Gracie's muffled voice shouted from inside.

TAK TAK TAK!

"I SAID GO AWAYYYY!!!"

TAK TAK TAK TAK!

"AGH!! Can't you understand simple words?!" she screamed in frustration. "WAAHH! MY POOR SOUL CAN'T EVEN CRY IN PEACE!"

Gracie stomped angrily to the door and yanked it open with force.

CREAAKKK!! TTHUUPPP!

Oliver saw a completely crazy-looking girl standing before him…. Her hair wildly glaring at him, her face tear-streaked looked a little messy with red puffy eyes…... Yet despite her dishevelled state, Oliver couldn't help but stare at her. He'd always been running from Gracie's love, avoiding her feelings, keeping her at arm's length. But after today's sacrifice…..after seeing how much she'd risked just for him....he was forced to confront head-on just how deeply she truly loved him.

His eyes travelled over her body and he noticed several slight bruises on her skin…..marks from today's ordeal. His hands clenched hard at his sides, anger flooding through him as he thought about what she must have gone through, all for his sake.

"You're a player, Young Master!!! I didn't even know your real name until recently! stop being a brat and grow up!!! What would your parents think if they saw you like this? I don't want you constantly getting in my face, trying to appeal to me, it's disgusting, so stop it!!! This is the real world, step out of your rich, imaginary one!!! I am grateful to you, but please, let's not cross the line!!!"

Miss Emmy's cutting words stabbed into his mind again, making him wince internally.

Oliver found himself comparing Miss Emmy to Gracie without meaning to. The thoughts spiralled in his head: Does Gracie really love me, or is she just joking around? She knows full well what kind of person I am, knows my reputation…... With her playful personality, she could just be messing with me... but for all these years? I don't understand. Why do you keep saying you love me when Miss Emmy hates me for exactly who I am? What's right? How should I be? Who should I trust? Who am I really?....sigghhh...

Oliver's mind went into chaos. He just stood there frozen, staring at Gracie's messed-up face. But instead of seeing her current state, his mind was replaying all the past memories…..every smile, every laugh, every time she'd looked at him with those adoring eyes.

Sigh, you've grown up to be such a beautiful lady, Gracie.

Oliver slowly raised his hand and touched her cheek gently, his fingers carefully wiping away her tears with tender movements.

Gracie suddenly jerked into motion and grabbed his arm, pulling him inside her room forcefully.

"Sighh,,,,, I'm even dreaming right now," she muttered to herself, her voice thick with emotions and her mind fully dazed. "Young Master is actually in my room... It looks like my life is flashing before my eyes. I guess it's truly over. Young Master probably decided to throw me away for good. WAHHHH WWWAAHHH WAAAHHHH!!"

Gracie started speaking complete nonsense while crying as she wrapped her arms around him tightly, hugging him like he was the only solid thing in a crumbling world.

Oliver's mind felt a jolt of shock as he felt her naked legs pressing against his body. Her soft, thin clothing barely did anything to hide her figure....he could feel every curve, every line of her body through the flimsy fabric. Her soft warm breasts squeezed tightly against his chest, he tries to ignore those sensation but her realized some things in life are just impossible to ignore.

Oliver felt hot blood rushing downward to his crotch, making his little friend grow hard and strong despite his best efforts to control himself.

He tried to push her away gently, but her grip was way too strong. The more she hugged him, the more her shirt rode up her body. Oliver could catch glimpses of her white panties peeking out, the fabric hugging her intimately.

He gulped hard, his throat suddenly dry. His hand slowly reached downward toward her waist, trying to tug her shirt back down to cover her properly.

"YOUNG MASTER, I'M SORRY! I LOST CONTROL!!!! PLEASE DON'T SEND ME AWAY!" Gracie wailed into his chest, her words tumbling out in a desperate rush. "I PROMISE I WILL NOT PEEK AT YOUR ROOM WHEN YOU'RE CHANGING ANYMORE! I REALLY LOVE YOU, YOUNG MASTER! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT SEEING YOU! I LOVE IT WHEN YOU FLIRT WITH ME AND I AM ADDICTED TO IT!!!! I CAN'T GO ON IN LIFE IF I DON'T SEE YOUR FACE ON DAILY BASIS! WAAHH! WHY DID I HAVE TO POUNCE ON YOU LIKE AN IDIOT?! I'M SORRY! I WAS JUST SO SCARED!!!VERY, VERY SCARED AT THAT TIME! WAAHHH!!"

"SOB! SOB! ACK! ACK! WAAHH! AAWWOOOAAA!! "

Gracie started crying even harder, her whole body shaking with sobs.

Hearing this outpouring of genuine emotion, Oliver stopped trying to push her away. Instead, he started patting her back gently, his touch soothing rhythmic touch made Gracie feel a little better.

"It's okay. I'm not mad at you," he said softly in gentle voice. "It's alright. I won't throw you out. You can keep working with me just like before." He smiled slightly. "And please stop peeking at me when I'm changing…..it's not good manners, you know."

Gracie's breathing slowly began to calm down at his words, the frantic edge fading. Her grip gradually became less crushingly tight, though she still held onto him like he might disappear.

"YOUNG MASTER IS SO NICE," she mumbled against his chest, her dreamy voice got muffled due to her mouth close to his chest. "THAT'S WHY I LOVE YOU SO MUC!!!. EVEN IF THIS IS MY HALLUCINATION, I'LL TROUBLE YOU TO KEEP HUGGING ME JUST A LITTLE LONGER."

Gracie warmly snuggled in closer, getting cozy as she hugged him.

Oliver just agreed silently and let her be, his arms wrapping around her back to hold her steady.

Slowly, time passed in comfortable silence. Gracie, still in her dazed trance, shifted her position unconsciously. She slid lower against his body until she reached his heart area, her ear pressing against his chest.

BA-DUP. BA-DUP.

"Hmm?" Gracie murmured in confusion, her eyes still closed as she remained half in a trance. "Do hallucinations have heartbeats?"

"No, they do not," Oliver replied casually, a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Yeah, that's what I thought. Weird hallucination though," Gracie chuckled softly.

HUH?

Then she froze completely.

Her eyes suddenly snapped open wide. Her hand, which had been resting on his back, slowly started moving, feeling the solid warmth beneath her palm. The muscles, the breathing, the realness of him.

Then she realized something else...something hard was pressing against her belly.

She carefully created a tiny gap between their bodies and looked down. Her eyes landed on a very obvious bulge straining against his pants.

Suddenly, her whole body started sweating hard, heat flooding through her from head to toe.

"Sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen. It just... happened," Oliver spoke while laughing awkwardly, finally seizing the chance to pull her shirt down properly. His hands settled on her hip bones, holding the fabric in place. "Feels like déjà vu, honestly." He muttered slowly.

Gracie pulled back slightly without looking at his face, her head hanging down as embarrassment crashed over her in waves.

"Ha ha ha... well, I guess... I hope... I mean..." she stammered in full panic mode, having absolutely no idea what to say. Her mind was completely blank as she started going back, her legs moving behind without any direction.

"CAREFUL!" Oliver shouted.

"KYAA!"

Gracie's leg hit a box on the ground, making her stumble backward. She was about to crash hard onto the floor.

In one swift motion, Oliver grabbed her back and pulled her toward him. They tumbled together toward the bed, and he twisted his body slightly at the last second so she would land safely on the soft mattress.

PPUUFFF!

Gracie landed safely on bed and so did Oliver who fell on top of her, his bulge pressing directly against her crotch in an incredibly intimate way. His left hand ended up behind her naked back, supporting her, while his right hand already slid beneath her head to protect it from getting hurt.

Gracie's shirt rode up dangerously high, almost to her chest now. Her smooth, slim abdomen was in full view, every inch of soft skin exposed.

Oliver's eyes travelled over her sweat-covered belly. He watched droplets slowly rolling down from her ribs, trailing across her skin in glistening paths. The sight made his bulge grow even tighter, pressing harder and more intimately against her crotch.

Her white panties suddenly grew wet from below, the fabric darkening with moisture.

"HUFF. HUFF. HUFF."

Both of them were breathing hard now.

Gracie looked up and saw Oliver's face directly above hers, so close she could count his eyelashes. Their eyes met and got locked into each other, neither able to look away.

Oliver tried desperately not to look down at her naked belly, but her face proved even more dangerous to his self-control. He could see every detail...the individual pores of her skin, the way her lips parted slightly as she breathed, the flush spreading across her cheeks.

His right hand moved subconsciously, reaching up to grab a strand of hair that had fallen across her face. He gently tucked it behind her ear, his fingers grazing her cheek in a feather-light touch that sent shivers down both their spines.

No one said anything. Only their hard, labored breathing filled the silence, creating a charged atmosphere thick with tension.

Oliver's left hand began to move slowly along her bare back.

"AAAAHHHH!!!" Gracie moaned unexpectedly, the sound escaping her lips before she could stop it. The sensation sent shivers racing down her spine, making her whole body tremble.

Oliver smiled embarrassedly and started to speak. "Sorry, Gracie, I didn't mean to.."

"What happened?! Is everything alright?!" Gracie's mother's voice suddenly called out from the kitchen.

Gracie's mind jolted back to reality like she'd been hit with cold water. She shoved Oliver away with surprising strength. He stumbled backward, trying to gather his feet beneath him.

But Gracie was in full panic mode now. She just grabbed him and physically threw him out of her room.

THUMP!! CREEAAKK TAAKK!!

Oliver's back hit the wall outside her room hard, knocking the wind out of him slightly. Gracie slammed the door shut immediately in front of him.

"OW!" Oliver winced, feeling genuine pain radiating from where he'd hit the wall.

Gracie's mother came rushing around the corner, her face worried. "What happened?! I heard some noise!"

"Ha ha, it's okay, Auntie!" Oliver said quickly, smiling as best as he could while his back throbbed. "Something just dropped, that's all. Please give her a minute….she'll come out soon."

"HEY, YOU BRAT! DON'T MAKE YOUNG MASTER WAIT OUT THERE!" Mother shouted toward the closed door, then turned and went back towards the kitchen.

"HUFF! HUFF! HUFF!"

Inside the room, Gracie was breathing hard, her chest heaving. Everything that had just happened slowly came flooding back to her senses with crystal clarity. The panic started building again, threatening to overwhelm her completely.

But before it could snowball out of control, a gentle voice filtered through the door, calming her racing heart.

"Gracie, calm down…. I'm not angry with you at all," Oliver said softly from the other side. His voice was warm; patient filled with understanding. "Why don't you open the door and talk with me properly? It's alright. You did nothing wrong, and I saying the truth….. you know I would never lie to you about something like that, right?"

He paused, letting his words reached her mind.

"I'm waiting outside. You won't make me stand here for too long, will you?"

Gracie, listening to his gentle reassurance, felt a smile tugging at her lips despite everything. She nodded even though he couldn't see her.

"Just a moment," she called out, her voice much calmer now.

After saying this, she started cleaning her room in swift hurried movements, picking up scattered clothes, straightening the bed, organizing the chaos.

But then she caught sight of herself in the small mirror and realized exactly what state she'd been in moments ago. The panic started creeping back in.

STUPID STUPID STUPID FUCKK!!!!

In panic motion she quickly threw everything away from her body and wore her maid outfit with swift hands.

Don't panic, don't panic, she told herself firmly.

PHEWWW....

She forced herself to take a deep, calming breath, then letting it out slowly. Her heartbeat gradually returned to something resembling normal.

Finally, she walked to the door and opened it.

CREEAKKKK!!!
