Vatican
"You two did a very good job, as always."
"What did you expect." Sho puffed out his chest, head held up high with pride.
This was the first High Class job they had completed without either sustaining much injuries, the mission involving the elimination of a Barbatos Half-breed who had been killing mindlessly in France.
"We're it not for me setting up the barrier, this could have gone way differently." Kiyotora slammed his fist on Sho's head, causing the younger exorcist to wince in pain.
"But it didn't, did it?" Sho muttered, clutching his aching head.
"That it seems, it didn't." The cardinal burst out laughing, causing Kiyotora to sigh.
"Us reporting on our recent mission isn't the only reason why you have called us here, is it your Eminence?" The cardinal stopped laughing, a serious expression replacing the previous jovial one.
"It's about your homeland."
"Japan?" Cardinal nodded his head, as the worst possible scenario started to play in Sho's head.
"There has been suspicious activity in Japan involving fallen angels and a group of magicians." The cardinal priest said out loud, as he set the documents on the table, which Kiyotora promptly took. "You two are to head the and investigate their involvement."
'So Grigori and Witches of Oz…' Sho mused as he peeked at the papers in Kiyotora's hand, before turning towards the behemoth sitting behind an equally big desk.
It was basically an unspoken thing, that whenever one of the three Abrahamic factions was involved the other two would keep an close eye on it.
Something especially true for the Heavenly and Church side, who consider the other two factions as evil, meant for purge.
So whenever the other two side were involved in human world, at a noticeable scale, the church would immediately deploy exorcists to understand the situation.
'Especially considering the position of magicians, non holy magic users, are about always deemed heretical.'
'But Azazel didn't seem like the type to start a pointless fight or anything.' He recalled what he knew about the Governor of the Fallen. 'Then again the real one could be vastly different from the one mentioned in the Novel.'
In history or Myth, Azazel was one of the fallen angel who were responsible for humans to forbidden knowledge, knowledge that made humans became corrupted and view themselves as invincible.
"Is there any information on what their involvement or the current situation?"
"The Heavenly Aloha incident." The Cardinal gave a short answer to the Japanese priest.
The Japanese duo of Exorcist raised their brows at the name of the incident, that had heard about the incident.
An incident from a month ago, the incident where the Luxury ship that had 233 students from Ryoukuu High School, sunk.
The incident did fell like something that didn't occur naturally, the fact that no bodies said any of 233 students were found, certainly raised brows.
"But why us?" Both of the older priests looked at the Sho, following his question.
"You to seem the perfect for this job, read the following page." Vasco said the latter part to Kiyotora.
As he turned the page, Kiyotora froze. Something Sho hadn't seen from him in the two years he had served as an exorcist alongside the former Shinra.
Sho peeked at the papers in his sensei's hand, seeing the papers he realised the reason for Kiyotora reaction.
"The Five Principal Clan…."
"That's right, the incident is happening in the Principal Clans sphere of influence." Vasco nodded his head, looking at the former Shinra. "We are hoping you may be able to cooperate with them against a common enemy, if the situation demands it."
"And you are also to just observe and investigate, only engage when necessary , threatened or given the order." Vasco turned toward the youngest exorcist in the room. "Something in which you unique sense of smell may prove to be helpful."
'That makes sense?' His unnaturally sense of smell may prove helpful in tracking the magician, and possibly the victims, but….
Even if Kiyotora left the clan on his accord and did have much hate in the clan, that didn't mean the clan's are likely to cooperate with him due to their extreme distaste for anything not Shinto.
"And with this you can visit your Family, Young Sho."
While Sho appreciated the opportunity to go home, he had only spoken to his family through calls and them visiting him once after his younger brother was born, something caught his ear.
"Is there something wrong, Young Sho?"
"When are you going to stop calling me that, and call me warrior like you do with everyone." Sho muttered trying lighten the mood of the room.
Sho saw Kiyotora was too quiet right now, compared to the before. Fortunately his efforts had some effect as Cardinal Vasco once again burst out laughing.
"Hahah, you still have a log way to go before I start referring you as a Warrior, Young Sho."

Dulio POV
"So, you will be going back home."
"Well not exactly." Sho shook his head. "We are tasked with a mission involving Japan. So Sensei said we could visit my home on the way to our mission."
He started at the strange kid, preparing himself to return to his home for a mission.
He couldn't help but worry about them, if the fallens and an entire group of magicians were involved, the duo may not fare all too well.
Even he himself would have to be careful in such scenarios, and he had the Second Greatest Longinus.
"If anything happens, yo-" Before he could complete his words, a hand was raised infront of him.
"I am going on a mission, not an all you can eat buffet that I would require your help." Sho gave him a sly grin, before continuing. "Besides I have Kiyo-Sensei with me, for an observation mission two of us will be fine."
He chuckled at Sho words, maybe he was worrying too much. It was just an mission where they were supposed to observe the two sides and gain intel on the situation.
"Anything else you have to say?"
"Ah right, I completely forgot." He handed the bag he had brought with him, gaining a quizzical look in response.
"What's in this?"
"Ah nothing much, just chocolates that your sister seemed to love and some toys for Gengo." Sho sighed hearing his reply, staring at the bag with doubt.
"You really them too much."
"You talk as if you don't do so yourself, on every occasion you get." He cheekily remarked, causing the young exorcist to look away in embarrassment.
It was no secret that Sho passed on every allowance he got for the church and more from his mission back to his family, especially his siblings buying them all kind of things.
"I-It's different."
"Is it now?" He got a glare in response, causing him to chuckle in response.
It was times like this that made him forget all the worries as Longinus wielding Exorcist. Times when he could be himself and relax.
"Well then, Best of luck for you first Big Mission."

Officially the Arc 1 starts, it will probably go on for some chapters. And then Arc 2 will start, most likely for atleast 10 chapters and then interlude and finally the canon.
So basically, Arc 1 ~ 15-20 chapters. Arc 2 ~ 6-8 Chapters, 1-2 Chapters interlude and then Canon start.
