Chapter 244 - Chapter 244: Let’s go to Hogsmeade

Professor Swan's Patronus Charm is a Giant Dragon!

This news swept through Hogwarts like a whirlwind, deeply stimulating all the Little Wizards.

"Did you hear? Professor Swan's Giant Dragon Patronus Charm is incredibly huge. It flies in the sky, illuminating the entire night, like a Giant magic lamp."

"You don't need to hear about it; I was just there! When Professor's Patronus Charm appeared, I thought it was daytime."

"I regret it! I left as soon as class ended. If only I had stayed a bit longer at the Duelling Club. I've never seen a Patronus Charm in the shape of a magical creature."

"Is it true that Professor's Patronus Charm easily took down a large number of Dementors?"

"Of course, it's true! I saw it with my own eyes. Wherever Professor's Giant Dragon went, the Dementors all fled in terror. It was incredibly majestic."

Stimulated by this news, many Little Wizards headed straight to the Duelling Club to practice the Patronus Charm early the next morning after waking up.

The Little Wizards all fantasized that their Patronus Charm could be as cool as Professor's Giant Dragon.

Even if they couldn't conjure a Giant Dragon, it would still be good to practice conjuring a corporeal Patronus Charm early.

Professor Swan said last night that once thirty people could conjure a corporeal Patronus Charm, he would lead everyone to start the next learning plan.

That was to let everyone's Patronus Charm experience actual combat.

According to Professor, only by conjuring a Patronus Charm under the pressure of a Dementor could one truly be considered a master.

Thinking about being able to use their Patronus Charm to beat up Dementors, the Little Wizards were all more motivated than the last.

This also led to very few spectators at the Quidditch school team tryouts on Saturday morning, apart from the players participating in the tryouts.

Approaching noon, the coolness of the morning had been evaporated by the sunlight, and the air was filled with the scent of green grass, making one feel incredibly pleasant.

After the tryouts, Harry returned to the dormitory to change into comfortable clothes, then walked briskly with Ron and Hermione towards the school gate.

For them, as third-year students, today was their first time going to Hogsmeade.

"It's just as I predicted," Ron said, gesticulating wildly. "This year's school team tryouts were nothing special; it's still you seven, Harry."

"Just like I said at the start-of-term feast, this is our dream team."

"Just you wait, this year we will definitely win the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup again."

"Believe me, I took Divination Class this year, it's super effective!"

"I'll take your word for it, Ron." Harry smiled happily. "Honestly, I'm quite eager to go back to the Duelling Club to practice the Patronus Charm again."

"I want to see if I can still easily conjure a Patronus Charm without Professor and Luna's assistance."

"Let's go to Hogsmeade first, then practice when we get back," Ron said. "I also want to conjure a corporeal Patronus Charm soon."

"Honestly, I have a feeling my Patronus Charm will be as mighty as Professor Swan's Giant Dragon. Even if it's not a Giant Dragon, it'll be a Mammoth or a Giant or something."

"Ron," Hermione smiled and shook her head, "Most Wizards' Patronus Charms are in the form of ordinary animals. Patronus Charms in the form of magical creatures are very rare."

"As for the Giant Patronus Charm you mentioned, historically, only the invincible Andros could conjure it."

"Hermione," Ron said discontentedly, "This is called a dream!"

"No one said my Patronus Charm can't be in the form of a magical creature, right?"

"What if I can conjure a special Patronus Charm? Then I'll be famous."

"Alright, then good luck, Ron."

Hermione walked over to Harry, her face full of worry: "Harry, are you really sure it won't be dangerous to go out?"

"I mean, that person is still at large. What if he's lurking in Hogsmeade..."

Harry turned to look at her, smiled, and tried to dispel her concerns.

"Hermione, don't worry. Professor Swan told me that as long as I don't go anywhere beyond Hogsmeade, I won't encounter danger."

"Professor said that Hogsmeade has undergone a big change. Even the Auror Office has opened a branch here, and Aurors are constantly patrolling the village, protecting everyone's safety."

"I know that," Ron exclaimed, "Hogsmeade Village has expanded."

"The news these past few days has all been about Hogsmeade Village; it's completely different now."

"If it was just a village before, now it's a city."

"It's just a shame that it was cloudy every day these past few days, so we couldn't see Hogsmeade clearly from the Castle."

"Luckily the weather is good today. Let's walk faster; there are a lot of people going there right now."

"I heard The Three Broomsticks has changed a lot. I also want to try their signature dish and then explore the new city properly."

Thinking about sitting in The Three Broomsticks Pub soon, drinking a cold Butterbeer, and ordering a steaming hot lunch, Ron wished he could drag the other two and run.

Before long, the trio finally arrived at the main gate of Hogwarts.

After passing the Dementor's outpost, they were all stunned by the sight before them.

The familiar, stony dirt road that originally led to Hogsmeade Village was gone.

In its place was a wide, smooth concrete road, impeccably clean, with neat streetlights on both sides, extending into the distance.

Even more surprisingly, a platform had been built by the roadside, and several white mini-shuttle buses were actually parked there.

Each bus was clean and tidy, and several students were lining up orderly to board, with cheerful laughter coming from them.

"Merlin!" Ron was dumbfounded. "Such a big change, this is too exaggerated."

Looking at the station sign, he couldn't help but read it aloud: "Knight Bus, operating between Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, fare one silver Sickle."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione exchanged glances, each seeing excitement in the other's eyes.

"Shall we take the bus?"

"Of course!"

"I can't wait to explore there."

They cheered and joined the other students in line to board the shuttle bus.

The driver on the bus was smiling, constantly introducing the changes in Hogsmeade to the students.

"I am a villager of Hogsmeade. To make it convenient for students to visit Hogsmeade, I'm working part-time as a Knight Bus driver on weekends."

"Today is the first day many shops are open, and they've launched various discount activities."

"Students can explore to their heart's content."

"Alright, it's full, let's go!"

The bus started smoothly, carrying a busload of students towards Hogsmeade.
