"When you are ready to leave, we must make preparations and activate the spells to siphon it to you before you leave. That way, I can atleast read your frequencies back here, from the Sanctuary." Nebula said to Skeal as he stared into the chart she Drew for briefing.
"I thought of leaving right away as the matter requires urgent attention, atleast according to my observations. Time is of the essence, and this happens to be a special occasion that concerns time. I shall revive a Bottleneck Tulip and store some of my 1st chakra magic to activate the arcane. And when im there, I'll make sure to keep in contact with your manas at all times." Skeal responded as she pondered with her gaze outside the wooden windows, overlooking the Labyrinth; she never really knew what there was beyond it. It was always the night sky and from a distance a cloud filled horizon, there was never any light there.
"I'll go and fetch the Bottleneck Tulip, i saw a dozen of them growing across the tree." Helios interrupted.
"Thankyou. That would be really helpful Helios." Skeal turned around and responded at him.
Nebula sat and began to study into the directories to arrange the details and understand the frequencies in an organized order.
"I'm not entirely sure how time is constructed in Nefa now, but spending alot of time there could vary as very little time here. Or the opposite. It depends on the heavier side of the third sanctum. The more the light, the heavier the bearer." Skeal turned around and said to Nebula, who was still examining the matters of his doubts.
"Well I hope it's the first one. Even if you're gone for just a day, I'd still miss you Skeal." He responded with a slight frown on his face that which he did not want to display.
Helios arrived with the Bottleneck Tulip right after with a big smile on his face. He placed the flower on a shiny apparatus and said.
"There, im sure I picked the right one." Helios pointed the Bottleneck Tulip at Skeal and smiled.
Skeal stood next to him as she examined the flower from afar. The petals did not bloom and the colors were still in the shades of white and purple, the flower she needed was a fully blooming flower with the exact tone of its blooming nature.
"Umm Helios, I can see that this flower is in the midst of its blooming stage, as the petals are beginning to uncurl only now, but what I need for the magic to remain strong is a fully blooming flower, and when a Bottleneck Tulip is fully blooming, it's petals turn completely purple in color and they fully uncurl, I need a grown flower that signify it's final potent radiance to siphon my magic at its last fragile and potent stage." Skeal said and tilted her head not to appear dissapointed.
"Hmm, can you not use your magic to make it bloom to it's final blooming state" Nebula interfered.
"Well, I could do that but the nature of the flower would stand questioned when in contact with my magic and I do not want to dwell in that kind of complexity at the moment. Most of all we don't have time to waste." Skeal responded.
"Now, if you don't mind Helios, would you be kind enough to please bring me that fully blooming Bottleneck Tulip. You must try and check further accross the tree, where the sun rests it's light on the flower. I've seen a few the last time I went there for a stroll. I'm sure you can do this" Skeal said to Helios
She was shorter than both Helios and Nebula and even if she wanted to pretend grown up with them, she thought it would seem out of her element.
"I should have realized earlier, this blunder was inevitable due to my inattentive carelessness. With precision, the cost without the price." Helios said, repeating the quotes they use to train the others during institution.
Helios reached out to pick the flower from Skeals hand and left through the door that opens the world across the harbouring tree.
There were many harbouring trees in Healor and perhaps more in the neighbouring kingdoms but Skeal found this tree, she rested here and wove together her home. She knew that, all that she knew about this tree was a mystery all the Vampires from the other side, were compelled to deduce and bring to their knowledge. Now, someone had access into it - but if she brought such a realm into the dangers from the Vampires, she thought, she would be the one responsible for possible threats and destruction.
"Perhaps, the vampire Ehremeus found a portal from another harbouring tree. Most often, it's impossible because Vampires don't have the same chakras as the fox tailed or the mystical beings of enchantment like the fairies, dwarfs and elves." Skeal said as the tension from her worriedness and anxiety started surfacing on her expressions.
She took time to gasp and little as though she was about to burst into tears.
"And...legend has it; such a war was sealed long ago and there were ammendments made between these two kinds; under a peaceful agreement." And continued..
"I truly begin to wonder how. Maybe he has a technology of some kind that he must have cracked open." Nebula added..and paused..he stared at the directory on the screen about certain unattended and vague history from the past about the Vampires.
"The vampires before, they must have been scary huh. Did they kill people like us for blood." And continued.
"Yes...under the scales of equal balance. It is believed that they were disproportionately overpowered and predominant among the others who weren't like them. There were warewolves too. They didn't kill to survive, they killed because it served a purpose to satisfy their abilities, especially if they mutate to the infestations of their emotional instability. An insufferable plane, the failure of all arithmetic algorithms, the abyss beyond the abyss, the most despicable place in all of the universe, a place most commonly known as Envy, my worst enemy. A sin, written about in every holy scripture."
Skeal sighed as though her very own voice now started to sadden her.
"I may sound very apprehensive towards them and their intentions and maybe somewhere along the line; that is true. That the story in my book is not being written from both sides. And if I have to be fair. Perhaps, long before, there were the original Vampires from the first tree, but as the sire lines grew larger, their purpose too, slowly started to fade away into dust, with more and more irrelevant sirelines trees sprawling like forest fire into existence, among the human race."
She said.
Helios comes back through the door and this time he took a little bit longer. In his hand was a Bottleneck Tulip which appeared big and uncurled from its blooming stage.
"Here Skeal, I think this one should do the work just right. It's fully purple and it's petals and uncurled." He placed the flower on the shiny apparatus and Skeal walked forward to stand beside him and examine the flower again.
"Hm. This one seems perfect."
She touched it with her forefinger as though it was the gesture of pausing something. The flower illuminated in a dark light, an aura above the flower; short- sighted, shadowy yet luminous. Then she twisted and folded her legs on air and pointed her fingers again at the Bottleneck Tulip and used a 1st chakra technique to siphone the flower to her aura, a chord connected her 1st chakra to the flower now. She stayed at a meditative state for 10 seconds to channel everything she wanted to manifest into the flower. And suddenly a somewhat large ball of light bursted around them, Skeal now slowly decended on the ground and landed her feet. Now the potent magical particles were slowly moving towards the flower, as though the flower was absorbent of it. As soon as all the magic was absorbed, the flower began to illuminate into a bright purple and blue luminosity - sparkly golden hues danced on the tip of the petals, slowly wavering and springing around like water droplets. Two swirling light chords from the flower slowly travelled and touched the 5th chakras of both Nebula and Helios.
"That should keep me connected to you. And you know your own magic. If the dark aura over shadows the blue luminescence, it means to indicate that I may be in danger and that I may lose the chord of magical siphoning to Healor. Remember, now consider that the flower is me, make sure to protect it by all means" Skeal smiled, displaying responsibility and ardour.
