Both Conrad and Tom sat together in their room after finally getting a peaceful night's sleep.
But it didn't take long before reality hit them again.
Conrad still had one goal.
To find the people who had murdered his family.
Now that they had a place to stay, even if it was only for a week, they could finally start thinking about finding the killer.
As of now, they were living on the outskirts of an area called Greenware.
The place Conrad used to call home was Southware.
Together, the entire region was known as The Ware.
The Ware was divided into seven parts:
Greenware.
Redware.
Westware.
Southware.
Nothingware — the Underground City.
Upware — the City Above the Clouds, often called Heaven City.
And finally...
Bigware.
More commonly known as...
Deathware.
It was the place where the strongest people lived and ruled.
Deathware was not open to every citizen of The Ware.
Normally, a person had to level up from one Ware to another before being allowed to enter the next.
A citizen from a lower Ware could never enter a higher one.
However...
Someone from a higher Ware could freely visit the lower ones.
The lowest level was Greenware.
That was where Conrad and Tom lived.
Above Greenware was Redware.
Above Redware was Westware.
Then came Southware.
After that was Nothingware.
Then Upware.
And finally...
Deathware.
Conrad's father had once held a very high position in Southware.
People were assigned to each Ware according to their net worth.
However, entering Nothingware or Upware wasn't as simple.
To reach either of those places, you needed someone from Deathware to personally allow you access.
Both cities operated in complete secrecy and were mainly used for business purposes.
Very little about them was known to the public.
Even photographs of those places were rarely seen on social media.
That was why many people considered Southware to be the best place to live.
The other three higher Wares were simply too mysterious.
Now...
Conrad and Tom were living on the very outskirts of Greenware.
The lowest place anyone could possibly live.
Conrad knew one thing.
If he wanted to find the killer...
He would eventually have to reach Deathware.
Or somehow gain access to Upware or Nothingware.
But before any of that...
They needed money.
A lot of money.
And they needed it fast.
At first, they thought about joining one of the many gangs that operated during the night while working regular jobs during the day.
But they quickly realized that joining a gang would only drag them deeper into trouble.
So they came up with another idea.
Instead of joining one...
They would create one.
Team Zero.
A gang that would protect the city at night by hunting criminals instead of becoming one.
Before they could even think about doing that, however...
They both realized one important thing.
Conrad had an incredible physique.
But almost no real fighting experience.
Tom wasn't much different.
He wasn't physically strong, but he made up for it with his intelligence.
So they both agreed on one thing.
It was time...
For a training arc.
They decided to search for someone who could teach them how to fight.
And with that, they both set out to leave Greenware for the first time.
Their destination...
Redware.
The Land of Cruelty.
Each Ware had earned its name for a reason.
Greenware was the most beautiful, filled with greenery and nature, but it was also the poorest.
Redware was a place of hardship, violence, and survival.
Westware was more like the western part of the world—a younger population, nightlife, clubs, and endless entertainment.
Southware was considered the best place for ordinary people to live...
