I looked at the papers on the table and asked, "Who wrote this?"

I know many popular screenwriters, so there's a chance I might know the person who wrote it. There wasn't a name on the first page, just a title.

"Teenage Love"

Clearly, a romance story. Another one.

But if Rikuya is offering me this job, it's probably a very important role. Maybe even the lead role.

'That would be my first major role.'

"Kaito Fujimori."

As soon as I heard the screenwriter's name, I searched my memory for any writer or screenwriter with that name, but I couldn't remember anyone. Since I have a very good memory, I was certain I had never heard of him before.

"I've never heard of him. Is he a famous screenwriter? Does he have any other works?"

"No, he doesn't. His only experience was writing scripts for small theater plays."

I was speechless.

I picked up the papers and asked, "Then why are you offering this to me? Have you read it? Is it really that good?"

"I thought it would be interesting for you to gain a little more experience. It's a movie, not a series."

"I see. That makes sense. And what about the quality of the script?"

"I'm not as good at evaluating scripts as you are, but I think Kaito did a good job. You don't need to answer now. You can read it and decide later. Even if you turn it down, that's fine. New job offers keep coming in all the time."

"I didn't know that."

I looked at Rina, who was also in the room.

"Hm? What is it? Rikuya was the one who told me not to tell you about any offers that came in. He said he would evaluate them before letting them reach you!"

"I see. What offers have you turned down so far?" I asked Rikuya.

"There were some commercials for very small brands with very low pay. We also received an offer for an online web series with a limited budget."

I think he made the right decision by not telling me about those.

I would definitely reject all of them.

"Alright. I'll read the script and let you know what I think. But I'll probably turn it down."

"Why do you think that?"

"This guy doesn't have much experience, and I already have something I want to act in over the next few months."

Rikuya and Rina looked confused.

I smiled and said, "I'll explain when the time is right."

I left Rikuya's office and started reading the script while walking toward the elevator.

As soon as I read the first few lines, I already understood the tone of the story.

'It's going to be a teenage drama.'

When I got into the car, Rina asked,

"So? Is it interesting?"

"It's just a typical teenage drama. I'll probably be offered the role of Kim, right? The protagonist."

"Yes, exactly. Are you going to accept the job?" Rina asked.

I started thinking about it.

Even though it was a typical teenage drama, it definitely had quality, especially in the dialogue. Compared to most of the things I had watched in this world, it was certainly an above-average script.

But I said it before, didn't I?

I already have a project I want to act in.

A movie or series written by me.

'But I guess I'm moving too fast, aren't I? It's probably better to gain a little more experience and popularity by acting in works written by other people first.'

"Probably," I replied.

As soon as I got home, I tossed the script onto the small table in front of the couch and lay down.

The house was very quiet.

When my mother is in her room, I can't hear anything at all, not even if she's in a meeting.

I let out a sigh and then went to my room.

I sat down at my desk and opened my MacBook.

Then I checked my emails to see if I had received one from Asuna. She sends me a new email almost every day.

And yes, she had sent one.

It was just an update letting me know that the animation process for the "Idol" music video was progressing quickly. The studio had made the project one of its priorities so they could finish it as soon as possible.

I replied to the email and then opened Twitter.

It had been a while since I posted anything.

Then I noticed some news circulating among pages dedicated to novels and manga. The news was about the upcoming volume of Oregairu.

I opened the publisher's page and saw that they had used one of my illustrations for promotional purposes.

It was the cover artwork.

I retweeted several posts and replied to a few pages and readers before closing Twitter.

Then I opened Instagram.

I noticed I was approaching 300,000 followers, but the account had been completely inactive.

I always forget to post Stories, and I don't upload photos regularly either.

So I closed my MacBook and picked up my phone.

Then I started recording a Story showing my new room.

After filming it, I uploaded it without making any edits, and I immediately started receiving replies.

I took the opportunity to read my DMs.

I noticed there were many messages from verified accounts that I had never opened.

"They're all brands."

I smiled bitterly.

Most of them were clothing brands, and many wanted me to promote their products.

Some of them had even included payment offers.

"It wouldn't be a bad idea to do some sponsorships using my online visibility."

So I sent a message to Rina asking about it.

She then sent me an email address to add to my Twitter and Instagram bios. She also told me to send that email to every brand that had contacted me.

Rina would handle everything.

I did everything she asked, and shortly afterward, I took a picture in front of my bathroom mirror.

Is this kind of photo weird?

Well, whatever.

I posted it, and the likes immediately started skyrocketing.

"Being good-looking really does make a difference on Instagram... a huge difference."

I closed Instagram and took a shower.

Afterward, I lay down and started drawing the illustrations for the first volume of Tensura.

Then, a few days passed.
