After taking a deep bow to the audience and the judges, Liisi lifted the microphone to her lips. Her smile was soft and elegant, her voice mellow and lovely as always.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Liisi from Lipstick, as you all must already know. Tonight, I'm singing a song I wrote a long time ago but only recently found the courage to share. I want to be seen for the woman I am and show the world a more sensual, sophisticated side of me."
The audience rewarded her with immediate applause despite the fact that she hadn't sung a single note yet.
Even among the judges seated at the long table on the dais, several of the men looked thoroughly charmed.
They smiled, laughed at her playful confidence, and seemed completely captivated by the darker, more mature image she had chosen for tonight.
From the far left end of the table, however, Karl Hanski looked anything but captivated.
