Chapter 892 - Chapter 847: New Trick

Batman never found Joker's antics amusing.

Maybe once, in the face of a lethal joke, they both burst into laughter, but that time Joker won because, beyond laughter, he couldn't find any way to vent his grief.

But not this time.

While Joker performed his slapstick routine, Batman threw all his Bat Darts and then ran along the wall, using his cape to glide toward the Joker.

Joker realized belatedly and raised his hand intending to shoot, but the earlier Bat Darts reflected off the walls and the ground, colliding and deflecting off each other.

A dart flew from behind him, passed through a blind spot under him, bounced up, and stabbed his wrist.

"Huh? Hahaha!" Joker's gun fell to the ground, but he raised his hand, pulled out the Bat Dart, and watched blood gush like a spring: "I got a gift! I got a Bat Dart! Hahahaha...."

"Bang!"

The answer was a heavy, powerful shoulder slam; Batman had flown into his face and then pinned him down, fists as large as casseroles pounding Joker like a bobblehead.

"Bang Bang Bang!"

"Hahaha...."

"Bang Bang Bang!"

"Hee hee hee...."

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

"Uh..... hoo hoo... hehe..."

No matter how fiercely Batman beat him, Joker just lay there, taking it, every time his head was punched to one side, he quickly turned it back, laughing and looking at Batman.

Even covered in blood, crimson streaming from every orifice, he kept laughing.

Batman sat astride him, grabbed his suit collar to yank him up and headbutt him; the Bat Mask was made of special materials, very tough. With several hundred pounds of weight on his chest, anyone would pass out from suffocation.

Thinking of how Joker had beaten Selena, Batman's blows grew heavier.

After several headbutts, Joker's laughter finally ceased.

Batman felt the tumultuous dark memories and the excruciating pain in his body, breathing heavily to suppress them with willpower.

He still controlled himself.

He let go of the Joker, got off him, and sat down on the cold ground beside him.

Maybe it was the blow to the back of his head on the ground that woke Joker up; he lay there spitting blood and intermittently speaking.

"You... think you've won? No, I've won, hehehe...."

After saying that, he tilted his head and fainted, with blood mixing with saliva trickling from the corner of his mouth, leaving a shining path on the dark ground.

It looked like a smiley face.....

Batman frowned and thought, but as always, although Joker shook his will, almost causing him to lose control several times...

But Batman had not abandoned his principles, he had not succumbed to his desires.

He sat quietly beside, watching Joker lie there; his injuries were too severe, with bone and internal injuries making movement difficult.

Yet he still stood up, hoisted the unconscious Joker, intending to take him back to the Bat Cave and lock him in the dungeon at the bottom.

Joker was too dangerous, and past experiences had proven that sending him to Arkham was useless. Batman had dug a cell specifically by the dark river beneath the Bat Cave, using all the technology of the Justice League just to give Joker an ultimate experience.

The energy barrier system from Kro planet could prevent Joker's escape while still allowing free interaction with Batman outside the cage.

The N Metal from Sena Gang made the prison unbreakable, and spells from the Mages cast a mystical defense, with plants from the Swamp Monster inside the cell for atmosphere control and surveillance.

The last escape of Joker was just an accident; it won't happen this time.

Carrying the colorful freak on his shoulder, Batman clutched the wound on his abdomen with the other hand, panting as the painkillers wore off surprisingly quickly; he had to hurry.

But in weakness, the short path seemed endlessly long as Batman struggled to see the way ahead, his steps faltering.

Fortunately, with gritted teeth, the subway entrance was getting closer.

From afar, he saw the light outside; it was the Windbreaker Warrior's car, and in the window, Selena's concerned face.

They hadn't left, just waited outside with an escape route in mind, and thinking of this, a trace of warmth flashed through Batman's heart.

Through the curtain of heavy rain, Selena naturally saw Batman too; she pushed the door open from the passenger seat to run to him, but was held back by the Windbreaker Warrior appearing behind.

"Batman! Is that you?"

The Windbreaker Warrior cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone and shouted loudly, his voice cutting through the veil of rain.

Being cautious is a good habit, Batman knew there was someone out there who loved to impersonate him to deceive in Gotham.

"It's me!"

Batman shouted back, but he wasn't used to raising his voice, and speaking now caused agony at his wound, his vision blurring from distraction.

The Windbreaker Man and Selena stood in the rain without coming over, and he asked again: "Did you defeat Joker?"

Batman, with Joker on his shoulder, slowly approached them, subway water already overflowed the curbs, resembling a vast ocean.
