'Don't do anything just stay.'
Hearing him say that made me feel useless in a way I couldn't describe. I've been used to people wanting me to do something. Being told not to do anything…especially by Sehyun stung.
But there was nothing I could do about it. If I tired to bridge the line between us, I feared he might drift further away from me than he already had. That was why I did exactly as told—he wasn't pushing me away but he wasn't letting me come closer either so I stayed behind the line he'd created.
If doing that would cure him then I'll compromise.
Compromise…
I never thought it would be something I'd do in my lifetime.
