The battlefield stretched endlessly beneath a blood-red sky, scarred by the remnants of countless ancient wars. Mountains lay broken across the horizon, their shattered peaks serving as monuments to battles fought long before mankind ever existed. The earth itself trembled beneath the footsteps of colossal creatures.
Ancient dragons with scales harder than celestial steel circled overhead.
Towering titans stood shoulder to shoulder like living mountains, their breaths rumbling through the air.
Every monster possessed one terrifying trait.
Insane durability.
Denma stood alone in the middle of that endless battlefield, cracking his neck as he looked at the army before him.
A grin slowly spread across his face.
"So… prove my strength, huh?"
He rolled his shoulders before pointing toward the monsters.
"Say less."
A deafening roar erupted across the battlefield.
One of the ancient dragons folded its massive wings before diving toward him like a meteor.
The air exploded around its body as it accelerated.
Denma folded both fists tightly. Then he ran directly toward it. The dragon opened its jaws.
A beam of blazing draconic energy erupted from its mouth, swallowing everything in its path.
Without slowing down, Denma shifted to the side.
The beam narrowly grazed past him before carving a massive trench across the battlefield.
Using the momentum, Denma leaped high into the air.
He landed directly on the dragon's head.
Drawing back his right fist, every muscle in his arm tightened.
He drove his fist straight into the dragon's face.
BOOM!! The impact echoed for miles.
The dragon didn't move..Not even an inch. Its enormous golden eye simply looked upward. Its left claw rose casually.
WHAM!! The dragon swatted Denma from the sky.
His body crashed violently into the earth. The ground burst apart. Dust swallowed the battlefield.
Inside the crater, Denma slowly pushed himself onto one knee. He glanced down at his right hand.
Several bones had fractured. His knuckles were split open. Blood dripped steadily onto the cracked earth.
Denma stared at his trembling hand.
"So… you won't go down easy, huh…"
He slowly stood. Without another word, he grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled it over his head.
The torn cloth drifted away with the wind. Rolling his injured shoulder, Denma smiled.
"Thinking about it…You're the first thing that's ever taken one of my punches like that."
He lowered himself into a fighting stance.
"Let's go again."
The dragon roared. Its massive tail swept across the battlefield like a collapsing mountain.
Denma ducked beneath it. The force alone shattered cliffs behind him.
Instead of attacking immediately, his eyes moved across the dragon's body.
"A reverse scale, Every dragon has one. If I find it…"
He sprinted beneath one wing before climbing onto the dragon's back. His fists began raining down relentlessly.
BAM! BAM!! BAM!!!
Each punch shook the dragon's enormous body.
Yet instead of damaging the dragon Pain exploded through Denma's hands. His knuckles split open even further.
Blood sprayed across the dragon's scales. The dragon merely growled.
Then it launched itself into the sky. Its enormous body spun violently. Denma struggled to maintain his footing.
Before he could leap away the dragon folded its wings. It shot toward a nearby mountain.
At the very last second It turned.
Pressed its back against the cliff and slammed itself into the mountain. The entire mountain exploded.
Stone buried everything beneath it.
Inside the rubble…Denma coughed violently. Blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.
His ribs screamed in pain. Before he could recover the dragon descended.
Its gigantic foot came crashing downward.
BOOM!! The earth caved in again. Pinned beneath layers of shattered stone, Denma gritted his teeth.
His breathing grew heavier. His body refused to move.
He stared upward through the cracks in the rubble.
"No…I can't fall here. If my own Circuit doesn't recognize me..What should I do…?"
Silence answered him.
Then… denma's expression changed.
"…Fuck this."
His fingers slowly tightened, blood seeped between them.
"Why search for the reverse scale…"
His fist clenched so tightly his palm split open.
"…when I can just punch it to death?..I'll believe in myself and use my own strength and make you submit to me."
The dragon hovered overhead.
Its chest expanded. Heat gathered inside its throat.
Another Dragon Breath far larger than before.
Denma slowly stood. His body was bruised, broken and Covered in blood. Yet his eyes never wavered. It was like something fundamental changed in him, he carried a different vibe.
The dragon fired. A sea of blazing destruction rushed toward him.
Denma didn't dodge.
He planted his feet firmly.
Raised his right hand and threw a single punch.
BOOM!!
An invisible force erupted from his fist. The Dragon Breath shattered instantly.
The flames dispersed into nothingness as though they had struck an indestructible wall.
No…It was Denma's sheer strength. The battlefield fell silent.
Without hesitation, Denma bent his knees.
The ground beneath him fractured into thousands of pieces.
Then he launched himself upward. BOOM!!
His body vanished from the ground.
An instant later he appeared beneath the dragon.
With a roar, Denma drove his right foot upward.
BOOM!!
The kick connected beneath the dragon's jaw.
The colossal beast was launched high into the sky.
The clouds burst apart from the force.
Denma landed lightly before crouching once more.
His muscles coiled like compressed springs.
Then he disappeared again.
The sound came after. He appeared directly above the airborne dragon.
His left leg rose high overhead.
Without hesitation He brought it down.
CRAAASH!!
The kick split through the dragon's neck.
Its enormous head separated from its body.
The head tumbled across the battlefield while the lifeless body crashed into the earth with enough force to shake the entire realm.
Denma landed on both feet. Dust drifted around him.
He stepped forward.
Placed his right foot atop the dragon's massive corpse while its severed head rested far across the battlefield.
His bloodied fists slowly lowered.
Then he looked toward the countless monsters still waiting beyond the fallen dragon.
A savage grin spread across his face.
"What are you waiting for?"
He pointed at the endless horde.
"Attack me, you filthy beasts."
His eyes burned with unwavering resolve.
"Let me show you real strength and endurance."
