"Are you my fan?" Tracy Walker asked directly, somewhat pleased with herself.
Fan?
A body fan?
Samuel looked at the self-satisfied Tracy Walker and directly denied it: "No!"
"No, no?" Tracy Walker was instantly awkward and tried to make up for it by saying, "I used to be quite popular, really!"
Samuel raised an eyebrow and said, "If I remember correctly, your single hasn't been released for very long. If you were really that popular, you shouldn't be a radio reporter now, right? And an intern reporter at that."
"I became a reporter to enrich myself!"
Tracy Walker still wanted to argue, but seeing Samuel's half-smile expression, even with her thick skin, she couldn't keep pretending.
"Okay, I admit it, I'm past my prime."
Tracy Walker was a bit resigned.
"Not past your prime, you never became popular!"
Samuel didn't go easy on her just because she admitted it; for someone so vain and self-satisfied, only a harsh blow can make her see reality.
Not being popular is harsher than being past your prime!
Being past your prime at least proves you were popular before, but not being popular... means you really weren't popular!
Tracy Walker felt a sharp pain in her chest from the verbal attack, took a deep breath, and said directly, "I'm Jessica Jones' sister."
Samuel said calmly, "I know."
"She told you?"
Samuel shook his head: "She is my person; naturally, I wouldn't know nothing about her family."
"In fact, I should thank you; if you hadn't argued with her without knowing any better, I wouldn't have been able to pick her up and bring her home."
Tracy Walker snorted, "I'm warning you, you'd better treat her well, or I won't let you off!"
Samuel said indifferently, "Since you chose to separate from her, worry less about her affairs. If you really cared about her, why didn't you go find her earlier, why didn't you come threaten me?"
"You, your words are too unpleasant!"
Tracy Walker glared at him angrily. "I, I was angry at the time, and with her abilities, she definitely wouldn't be in trouble. Besides, how do you know I haven't investigated you?"
"Since you've investigated, you should know how well she's doing. And also, you said that with her abilities, she wouldn't easily be in trouble, so why are you threatening me? If something really happened to her, do you think your threat would be useful?"
Tracy Walker was speechless, meeting such a blunt man for the first time!
I'm a beauty, aren't I? And I used to be a celebrity. Don't you know how to be polite at all?
No wonder you can hang out with Jessica, that big straight woman!
"Is there anything else?" Samuel asked.
Seeing that he looked unwilling to spend more time with her, Tracy Walker's self-esteem was hurt, and she turned to leave, but she was unwilling to just leave like this.
Samuel didn't indulge her; after waiting a few seconds and seeing no response, he turned and left directly.
His purpose for coming out today wasn't entirely to shop and sunbathe; he wanted to buy a building!
Although Madripoor is the core of his planned power Base, it's too remote, far from the center of the plot.
As for the branch, the three-story building is neither big nor small. With the expansion of business and the increase in staff, coupled with its mixed-use nature, it's somewhat unsuitable and not enough.
He came out this time to see if there was a suitable high-rise building to buy one!
It would be best if it could be like Stark Tower, with commercial use below and residential use above.
Walking and looking, Samuel had unknowingly arrived near Times Square. As one of the most famous landmarks in New York, and even the entire U.S., its prosperity is evident.
In the movie, when Captain America woke up from being frozen and ran onto the street, he was so surprised by the prosperity here that he believed Nick Fury's statement that he had been asleep for several decades.
And also...
219 West 47th Street, New York, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters is not far from here. He had been here before when he helped Sharon Carter replace Sharon Carter during the Secret Invasion play.
Before the Triskelion, or the Tri-Wing Headquarters, was officially put into use, this had always been S.H.I.E.L.D.'s main office Base.
"The S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters building... it looks good." Samuel gazed at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters building not far away, muttering to himself thoughtfully.
"You want this place?" A voice suddenly sounded from behind him.
Samuel turned around, glanced at the black bald man wearing an eyepatch, and curled his lip, "Are you willing to part with it?"
Nick Fury said calmly, "The new Headquarters is about to be put into use. If you want this place, it's not impossible."
"However, it's very expensive!"
Samuel's mouth curved slightly: "Tell me how expensive."
"Super Soldier Serum, Vibranium, and other things I deem valuable, anything is fine!" Nick Fury smiled and invited, "Want to come over and take a look? And try our coffee, it tastes pretty good."
Samuel shook his head: "After it belongs to Su, I'll take my time visiting. As for the price, when Bobby looks for me later, I'll give you a list."
"Okay!"
Nick Fury nodded in agreement, then tentatively asked, "Is Maria Hill... really dead?"
Samuel raised an eyebrow, smiling as he countered, "Why do you ask?"
Nick Fury said, "Although from the scene and the incident, the person you hit with that special weapon should be dead, the kind where there's no corpse left."
"But I noticed that when you mentioned it, you said they disappeared from this World, not that they died."
Samuel said noncommittally, "For you, there's no difference."
Nick Fury's face lit up, "Can you bring her back? We can include it in the conditions for buying the building."
"Even if I bring her back, she won't remember the things you want to know, and... if she comes back, would you still dare to reuse her?"
Samuel said with a smile, "The cost of bringing her back is very high. Are you sure you, and the Security Council, can agree?"
Nick Fury said solemnly, "I will handle it."
Samuel said noncommittally, "I'll consider it."
"Okay, I'll wait for your news." Nick Fury nodded, then turned and prepared to leave decisively.
"Wait."
Samuel called out to him, smiling as he said, "Are you interested in a private transaction?"
Nick Fury's eyes lit up.
"Yes!"
"A Kree spaceship, interested?" Samuel asked with a smile.
Among the ordinary people on Earth, Nick Fury was considered relatively knowledgeable about the Kree, even though the Kree spaceship was as fragile as paper when facing Carol Danvers.
But, that was a genuine Universe spaceship after all!
"What do you want?" Nick Fury subconsciously lowered his voice.
"How about taking care of my business?"
"Void Express?"
"Mhm."
"No problem!"
Nick Fury agreed without hesitation; he was no stranger to using his power for personal gain!
