Chapter 350: Five Senses Domination Jutsu

"I..."

After Naruto arrived, he stared at the code Jiraiya-sensei had left and pondered for a long time, but couldn't figure out how to decipher it.

However, the first symbol wasn't the number nine—it was the character for "sunset" (夕), and Naruto was certain this was one of Jiraiya-sensei's writing habits.

"As expected, the code Jiraiya left behind was meant for Naruto to decipher!"

Tsunade and the others were shaken. After half a month of no progress, the code's decryption finally saw a breakthrough when Naruto arrived.

Following the "sunset" clue Naruto had uncovered, they quickly concluded that the code might correspond to the page numbers of books Naruto had read.

With the conditions being "books Naruto had read" and "books Jiraiya was familiar with," the only match was books written by Jiraiya himself.

But since Jiraiya's books hadn't been published and weren't available in Konoha's bookstores, they searched the entire day without finding a single copy.

"I know—Kakashi-sensei must have them!"

That evening, after a day of fruitless searching, inspiration struck Naruto. He suddenly remembered that the book Kakashi always carried around—Make-Out Paradise—was written by Jiraiya-sensei.

In fact, Kakashi-sensei was probably the only person in Konoha who possessed all of Jiraiya's works.

However, Kakashi hadn't returned from his mission, and Naruto hesitated—would it be okay to search his house without permission?

Tsunade didn't hesitate. The sooner they cracked Jiraiya's code, the greater their chances against Pain and the fewer casualties they might suffer.

She decisively waved her hand and ordered, in the name of the Hokage, a search of Kakashi's home.

Soon, they arrived at Kakashi's house and not only found multiple Make-Out Paradise volumes, but also several swimsuit photo collections of beautiful women.

"To think the always-serious Kakashi-sensei had such… indecent things in private—truly, you can't judge a book by its cover!"

Shikamaru, who had been dragged in halfway to help with the code, stared at the photo collection covers with a pounding heart, muttering to himself—though his hands didn't hesitate as he quickly took two books.

Naruto, on the other hand, wore the expression of someone who had long known Kakashi's true nature and immediately searched out four Make-Out Paradise volumes written by Jiraiya.

They tried matching the code to the page numbers, but the resulting characters made no sense—it wasn't the intended message at all.

"There should be one last, newest Make-Out Paradise volume, and Kakashi-sensei always keeps it on him," Naruto said.

"Send word—tell Kakashi to return quickly," Tsunade ordered at once.

Her assistant, Shizune, immediately went to arrange it. The group then searched Kakashi's house one more time, taking all his books with them.

Outside, Tsunade glanced at the sky.

With the sunset tide rising, it was time for her to go home and prepare a meal for her beloved husband.

"That's all for today. I'm heading back," she said, leaving with a faint, shy smile, using the Body Flicker Technique and leaving behind a group of stunned onlookers.

"Was… was it just me?"

"I thought I saw…"

Shikamaru wasn't sure—just now, Tsunade-sama seemed… happy?

Happy?

At a time like this?

Shikamaru instinctively felt something was off, but Tsunade's status and power made it impossible for even his brilliant mind to imagine that the Fifth Hokage could be under a genjutsu.

After all, she had been out all day acting normally—only that one moment had been unusual.

Since he couldn't connect it to a genjutsu effect, Shikamaru simply couldn't fathom the reason for Tsunade-sama's sudden "happiness."

If even Shikamaru couldn't make sense of it, the others didn't bother to think too hard—they just assumed they'd been mistaken and that the Hokage had business to attend to.

Shikamaru and the others returned to the intel room to continue working overtime on the code.

Meanwhile, Tsunade went home to cook.

"Mmm… just a little longer."

She suddenly braced her hands against the edge of the kitchen counter, leaning forward slightly and revealing a glimpse of her toned waist.

Li Yao embraced her from behind, tilting his head to listen to the sound of her heartbeat through the soft layers into his ear. Shrugging, he murmured, "Same here."

While Tsunade's stir-fried beef still needed a moment, Li Yao's own "stir-fried beef" was already sizzling hot, with all sorts of "seasonings" splattering about.

Who would have thought that the esteemed Princess Tsunade—Hokage to the outside world—would, before Li Yao, become the very beef in the pan?

"Ah… hot!"

Tsunade suddenly straightened—splashed by hot oil, her ample chest having caught some of it.

Still… standing upright, her figure was just as alluring.

Outside the house, the Anbu guard team on shift change—despite having been warned by their colleagues—still blushed in disbelief at the "stir-frying" sounds coming from the Hokage's residence.

If they hadn't been with Tsunade-sama the whole day, they might have believed there was a man inside teaching her ninjutsu.

But that was impossible.

So there was only one explanation.

Just as the previous guard team had said—their beloved Hokage had found the ultimate way to use Shadow Clones and Transformation Jutsu.

Still… for Tsunade-sama, who had avoided men for so many years, to suddenly become so… uninhibited—it was enough to raise suspicion.

Though they didn't dare knock and interrupt, the three Anbu members secretly activated their sensory techniques.

Chakra sensing.

Scent detection.

Sound detection… this one did indeed confirm that Tsunade-sama was passionately engaging with a man—but all three knew that "man" was actually Tsunade herself.

Aside from that, chakra and scent detection yielded nothing.

No foreign chakra was detected besides Tsunade's.

With no sign of an intruder, it had to be nothing more than the Hokage's private indulgence. The three could only stand stiffly in the cold night wind.

While it was cold outside, Li Yao was hot inside.

Even as his spatula worked over the sizzling beef, his focus was on the three Anbu—more precisely, inside their minds.

Long ago, Li Yao had conceptualized a genjutsu called Perception Domination Jutsu—also known as Five Senses Domination.

By replacing the sensory signals that reached the brain—what the eyes saw, the skin felt, the nose smelled, the tongue tasted, and even the sense of pain—he could make someone's perception completely different from reality.

It was like Aizen's Kyōka Suigetsu from Bleach.

In reality, it might be a sword—but to someone under Kyōka Suigetsu, it was a corpse.

Even if they touched the sword—feeling the smooth texture and cold metal—it would still register in their mind as the touch of a real corpse, with matching smell and texture.

Li Yao wasn't at the level of Kyōka Suigetsu's terrifying perfection yet.

But replacing the sensory perception of three Anbu was well within his power.

Thus, without using a sensory-blocking barrier, the three Anbu perceived Li Yao as a "man" created by Tsunade's Shadow Clone and Transformation Jutsu.
