Chapter 15 - "THE KILLER"

it's a true base story....

Ramsha was the youngest daughter in her family. She lived in Karachi with her parents, five sisters, and one brother. They were a part of a large joint family, and her father was financially well-settled. From childhood, Ramsha loved enjoying life. She loved going out, watching movies, exploring new places, and spending time with friends.

One ordinary day, she went to the cinema, never knowing that a single moment would change the course of her life forever.

As she walked through the crowded hall, she suddenly collided with a young man. Her popcorn and drink fell to the floor.

"Are you blind?" she snapped angrily. "Can't you see where you're going? You ruined everything!"

The young man stood there awkwardly. His appearance was average, nothing extraordinary, but there was sincerity in his eyes.

"I'm sorry," he said softly.

Ramsha turned around, ready to continue scolding him, but something about his nervous expression made her smile.

A few moments later, he gathered the courage to ask, "Can we be friends?"

To his surprise, she agreed.

That young man was Ali.

What started as friendship slowly turned into love. They spent more time together, went on dates, shared dreams, and eventually introduced their families to each other. Before marriage, Ramsha worked at McDonald's for a month simply to pass her time and gain some experience.

Soon, wedding preparations began.

Their marriage took place during the COVID period, which meant celebrations were limited. Because of the restrictions, their valima was delayed and held eight months later. Before the valima, the newlyweds had already enjoyed their honeymoon and started building a life together.

By the time of the valima, Ramsha was already four months pregnant.

A few months later, they welcomed their first son, Balaj.

The arrival of Balaj filled their home with happiness. His tiny hands, innocent smile, and soft laughter brought joy to everyone around him.

Life seemed perfect.

Then came another pregnancy.

This time, things were different.

Ramsha wasn't as excited, but when doctors suggested the baby might be a girl, excitement spread throughout the family. Everyone dreamed of welcoming a little princess into the house.

Months passed....

The family eagerly waited.

But when the baby was born, it was another boy.

A beautiful little angel.

Yet instead of celebration, disappointment filled the room.

For almost a week, Ramsha barely held her newborn. She would feed him and then hand him to someone else. Even Ali struggled to connect with the baby. The child had entered the world innocent and pure, yet he was being punished for something he had no control over.

When the baby was three weeks old, Ramsha's mother-in-law finally sat her down.

"Ramsha," she said gently, "this is Allah's decision. Love your child. Allah has blessed you with a healthy son. Many people pray every day for what you already have."

Her words slowly touched Ramsha's heart.

Little by little, she began loving her son, Baris.

Ali, however, took longer.

He and Ramsha had secretly hoped for a daughter. They had even joked about it before the birth. But dreams and reality are not always the same.

One day, Ramsha went to her mother's house in tears.

"He doesn't even love his own son," she complained.

Her mother immediately replied, "What nonsense is this? Just because the baby isn't a girl doesn't mean he deserves less love. He is your child."

Those words left a deep impact.
