Chapter 97 - Beat ⁹⁷★Come get your guy☆

Come get your guy

The night at Beat Pub was about to get wild, all because Smart was here.

Everyone's attention was practically on him.

Han kept trying to stay in front of Smart, blocking the view so those crazy girls couldn't stare.

"Holy shit—these girls are obsessed!

You can see it in their eyes, they'd devour you whole," he whispered to Smart, who barely even noticed them, his attention drifting to his phone as if waiting for a message.

"Ah, if only they looked at me like that!" Han continued, staring at them with a smile.

The three of them were sitting at the bar, each holding a drink in hand!

Alex and Ester walked over to them, and after greeting them, they joined in so they could all hang out together.

Alex, as always, stayed close to Smart, reminding him that he still held a place in his heart.

Smart smiled, giving him advice to keep moving forward and find someone else, since he was already taken.

Every time Alex heard that Smart was taken, a hint of sadness would cross his face.

The atmosphere started to heat up as the dance floor challenges began.

"Smart, are you going to take part in the challenge today?" Ester asked.

"Hmm… maybe later. I'm not sure," Smart answered calmly.

Ren kept checking his phone nonstop.

He tried calling him again and again, but it was still turned off.

Leo, baby… what are you doing? he thought, feeling more and more uneasy.

His mind wouldn't settle down, and he could barely enjoy anything around him.

"If you want… we can call Jin," Smart said immediately when he noticed Ren looked distracted, like all the worries in the world had suddenly landed on his shoulders.

"Ah, no. It's better if we don't call him right now while we're here," Ren said.

"Let's wait a little longer."

Then he joined the others again.

✧ — ✧ — ✧

Leo was sitting beside Dex, directly across from Jin, who kept his eyes fixed on him the entire time.

"What are you two planning?" Leo asked, glancing from one to the other.

Then he turned to Dex.

You left your concerts halfway and came all the way here just because Jin asked you?" he said, looking straight into his eyes.

Dex stayed silent.

He wasn't really sure what Jin had already told Leo.

And since Jin was sitting right there at the table, it was better if he answered himself.

Jin looked Leo straight in the eyes.

"I don't think you need to ask Dex about that. You can already guess it yourself, can't you?"

Leo lit a cigarette, then spoke in a calm voice.

"Be careful with whatever you're planning to do.

You may not understand it now, but sooner or later… you'll suffer the consequences."

Jin smiled with a hint of irony.

"Then I'll just make sure my actions are never discovered," Jin replied.

Leo smiled.

"You bastard… you're really that stubborn."

"Alright, let's pour another round," Dex said.

"Let's get drunk. Or more precisely, you two can get drunk. I'm only drinking for energy… since a little later I'm going to burn all of it anyway."

"Hm, really?" Leo asked immediately.

"How many?"

"Two," Dex said, downing his glass of alcohol.

Leo leaned a little closer to him.

"Mind if I join you too?"

"Whoa, hey—are you sure?" Dex said, clearly surprised.

Jin let them get excited for a bit, then kicked the table.

He looked Leo in the eyes.

"Forget it."

"You think you can stop me?" he said, then turned to Dex.

"See how Jin acts? Like he's the boss and everyone has to follow him," Leo said, laughing loudly.

"Leo—enough drinking. Don't make me take action," Jin's voice became sharp and dangerous.

"Action?" Leo asked, looking him seriously in the eyes. Then he glanced at Dex and laughed even harder.

"See? He's still pretending he can command me," he said.

Jin just watched in silence, a growing anger simmering inside him.

Leo was acting aggressive and stubborn.

Leo leaned back, then his eyes wandered back to the cute guy at the bar.

He smiled at him and gestured for him to come over.

The guy got up and walked over, sliding into the seat beside Leo in an irresistibly seductive way.

Leo poured him a glass of alcohol, and they both took a sip, looking into each other's eyes.

At that moment, Jin pulled out his phone, snapped a photo , and immediately sent Ren a text:

✉️

"You asshole.

Come get your guy before it's too late!!"

✧ — ✧ — ✧

Ren couldn't hold back his anger when he saw the photo.

His vision almost went dark.

His hands and jaw clenched.

He stared at the photo, unable to believe that his Leo was looking someone else in the eyes!

"I told you… those eyes are only for me.

Damn it, what are you doing?" he muttered, pounding his fist on the bar.

"What's wrong?" Smart asked, turning his head toward him in surprise and leaning forward to look at the phone screen—but Ren immediately shut it.

Ren couldn't tell the truth because he didn't want to worry Smart.

He didn't want Smart thinking that Jin was having fun the same way Leo was.

He kept his calm and finally spoke.

"Leo's going home—so I need to go too," he said, catching his breath.

"And Jin?"

Maybe we should leave too?" Smart asked, panicked.

"Don't worry—Jin is still with Dex. I don't think they'll leave easily from there.

So just stay calm and enjoy yourself!" Ren said, then immediately rushed to the car.

He jumped into the car and hit the gas immediately, not even fastening his seatbelt.

"I hope you have a good reason for this behavior, or I'll take you down along with that guy beside you!" Ren shouted, slamming the steering wheel.

He fastened his seatbelt, then slammed the gas even harder than before.

The car surged forward—he wanted to get there immediately, without losing a single second.

✧ — ✧ — ✧

"Leo—behave, or you'll regret what you're doing," Jin warned him again.

"Don't listen to Jin," Dex said.

"Just enjoy the moment.

Life is yours, and you should enjoy it however feels best.

Don't listen to anyone."

"You're right. My moment is now," Leo said, turning to the guy and looking him in the eyes.

"Are you ready to scream tonight like never before?" he whispered in his ear.

"Hmm—yes," the guy replied, smiling.

Leo looked him in the eyes.

"Are you sure you can handle me?

You might not even feel your lower body—

The guy looked back at him, then licked the alcohol off the rim of the glass.

"Then—I can't wait to feel that numbness," he said, leaning in to lick Leo's ear a little.

Leo shivered immediately at the cold touch of his tongue.

Jin called out to Dex, putting out his cigarette.

"You don't want your surprise ruined, right?"

"You're just a jerk who only threatens," Dex replied.

"You've changed a shit…

You're still the same…"

Jin started smiling at him, then spoke again.

"Don't challenge me… you know I don't back down, right?"

"Then explain something," Dex began to ask.

"Why the hell do you say I've changed, when you're still the same shit…"

Jin raised an eyebrow.

"Who said I've changed?.."

Dex looked him in the eyes, as if saying,

"What the fuckig are you talking about?"

"Ahh, just because I act differently with Smart doesn't mean I've changed with everyone else.

Don't get it twisted," Jin said, finishing his sentence.

Dex shook his head slightly.

"You're really crazy…

What I keep wondering is this—does Smart really have the ass to deal with a jerk like you?" Dex said seriously, looking him straight in the eyes.

"Why do you think he doesn't?" Jin asked immediately.

"With that cute face of his, I don't think he'll be able to handle an asshole like you."

"Is that the impression Smart gives you?"

Dex simply nodded.

Jin smiled to himself. Everyone thought Smart was just a cute person, but no one could truly read him.

Not even Jin himself.

"The ass you still haven't tasted yet… right?" Dex asked with an ironic tone, just to provoke him.

Jin's gaze darkened the moment he heard that sentence. Looking straight at Dex, he stood up, pulled the cigarette out of Dex's mouth, and then put it out in the ashtray on the table.

"Don't you dare say something like that again. Next time, I'll put this cigarette out on your forehead."

Dex didn't look scared at all and replied immediately.

"I just said the truth—why did it burn you so much?"

"Dex, don't make me hit you here now," Jin said, blood boiling.

"What are you still waiting for? Why aren't you making your move to get it done?" ?" Dex asked again, not letting the topic go.

Curiosity wouldn't leave him alone.

"I'm waiting for him to be the one to ask me for it, with his full desire," Jin replied shortly.

"Then you've got a long wait ahead!

You really think that face of his would make the first move and ask for it?" Dex laughed, then downed a glass of alcohol.

Jin looked Dex in the eyes once more.

Very soon, he would be mine.

Dex smiled.

"So what the fuck are you still waiting for?

You've waited long enough!

You're not like this. When you want something, you go and take it immediately."

"Smart is different," Jin said again.

"Eh, at this rate, it's hard to see him ever being yours," Dex said, laughing.

"Hey, don't make me turn that cigarette trick into reality. I've let you get away with a lot," Jin said in a cold voice, but in his mind, Dex's words kept replaying.

He actually started thinking he had waited too long.

"Fuck," he thought, quickly lighting a cigarette and inhaling without pause.

*******

It wasn't long before Ren arrived at the place.

He was so stressed that he barely noticed the cool atmosphere around him.

All he could think about was finding Leo, hoping he wouldn't come across him in a situation that would make him lose his mind.

The moment his eyes landed on Leo, Ren sprinted forward, and the first thing he did was grab that guy by the throat.

But Dex and Jin jumped in immediately, pulling the guy away from Leo's hands.

He panicked and backed off instantly.

"If I see you near my guy again, I'll kill you!" Ren shouted, unable to move as Jin and Dex held him back.

Once that guy was out of their sight, they let go of Ren, and he immediately stormed toward Leo, who was already drunk.

He shoved his hand into Leo's face, pulling hard, and shouted at the top of his lungs,

"Explain yourself, or I'll kill you right here with my own hands!"

Jin sat with one leg over the other, letting Ren unleash the storm he had been holding inside.

He already knew Ren's character and had expected him to react violently.

Calmly, he took a drag from his cigarette, exhaled the smoke into the air, then stood and stepped up to Ren, yanking his hand away from Leo's throat in an instant.

He pulled Ren toward himself and locked eyes with him.

"I didn't tell you everything so you'd drag this situation into a damn mess, got it?"

Ren stared back, unable to speak as his breathing grew heavier with rage.

"Now behave, and don't use your strength on him. Considering the state he's in, all of this is your fault.

Take responsibility—or I swear, I'll take Leo out of your hands."

Ren glared, full of anger.

Jin blew the smoke from his cigarette into Ren's face.

"Don't look at me like that.

I think you already know what I'm capable of—taking Leo away from you… hmm, trust me, it'd be easy."

Ren shot back, his voice low and threatening.

"Jin—do you really think I'd let anyone try to take Leo away from me?

You should know me by now. I'd destroy anyone… even if that person is you."

He yanked his hand away from Jin and immediately turned to Leo, locking eyes with him.

Dex was stunned by Ren's fierce reaction and turned to Jin.

"Is he… Leo's boyfriend?"

"Mmm," Jin replied with a smirk.

"Damn…" Dex muttered, still shocked.

"I'm speechless… he's… I don't know… sexy, and so damn wild," Dex admitted.

"And on top of that, he's not even scared of you," he added, locking eyes with Jin.

Jin smiled lightly.

"I know… that's exactly why I like him being near Leo.

No one can protect Leo better than he can."

*

"Fuck… baby, how did we end up here?" Ren whispered, staring at his Leo in that state.

Leo looked Ren in the eyes and laughed loudly before turning to Jin.

"Hey Jin… feels like that asshole Ren shadow is right in front of me… staring at me with those gorgeous eyes."

Ren's eyes went wide when he heard Leo call him that.

"Now that it feels like he's right in front of me," Leo continued, "I could hit him… or I could crush him."

He sprang to his feet, stomping on Ren's leg and cursing.

"You traitor! Don't cross my path, I swear… hmm, I swear… eee!"

Leo then turned back to Jin.

"Jin, remind me what I was swearing about… I forgot," he said, laughing loudly.

"Sit down, calm yourself, and think it through," Jin said softly.

"Ah… you're right," Leo replied. "Better let me finish this drink, and maybe I'll remember what the hell I was saying to that idiot Ren."

He struggled to fill his glass, stood up, and just as he was about to take a sip, Ren snatched it from him with force, leaving it on the table.

Leo froze, hand in mid-air, unsure of what had just happened.

Ren pulled him close, placing Leo's hands around his waist, while wrapping his own around Leo's neck.

He hugged him tightly, whispering softly,

"My baby… what's wrong?"

Leo couldn't speak, only laughed, letting his whole body go loose.

Ren sat him down, then moved closer and cupped his face with both hands.

"Look me in the eyes," he said. "Why are you acting like this?"

Leo smiled, then placed his own hands on Ren's face, gripping firmly and murmuring,

"Is this even a real person? His cheeks are so soft, they feel real…

Or not? Maybe he's just a phantom?"

Then he quickly pulled his hands away.

Jin and Dex lit their cigarettes, watching the scene with full curiosity.

Ren turned his head toward them, greeting Dex, then shifted his eyes to Jin.

Jin stepped closer.

"Keep behaving like this, and in the end, you'll earn a shit."

"What did I do wrong?" Ren asked immediately.

Hmm, what did you do wrong?

Think about it—what exactly did you do that made Leo think you're cheating on him?

"What? How could he think that?" Ren asked in disbelief, turning his eyes back toward Leo.

"So there you go — that's exactly what he's thinking!

He came back for you, to stay by your side.

But he couldn't find you.

He called you,and all he got in return was silence.

So tell me… what was he supposed to think?" Jin asked calmly.

"It's all a fucking misunderstanding.

I left my phone in the car," Ren said.

"You know I would never cheat on him!" he added, turning to Jin.

"If I hadn't been with him just now, who knows what might've happened, you know?

So fix that fucking attitude and don't let something like this happen again."

Ren stood up and immediately lifted Leo into his arms.

"We're leaving," he said, giving them a quick goodbye before walking out.

He placed Leo in the car and immediately headed toward his apartment.

During the drive, he kept glancing at Leo, who looked so cute when he was drunk.

He took out his phone and recorded a short video of him, then snapped a few photos.

He gently stroked Leo's hair, and in that very moment Leo grabbed his hand, holding it tightly and refusing to let go.

"Baby… stay with me. Don't leave… not now, not at this moment when I feel so much for you.

I don't want to go back to the life I used to live.

Don't let that happen.

Let me stay by your side," Leo whispered in a muffled voice.

Ren couldn't help feeling those words reach his heart.

He stopped the car immediately, unbuckled his seatbelt, and stepped out, going straight to Leo.

He opened Leo's door, unfastened his seatbelt, and gently turned him toward himself.

Leo looked weak, his head hanging low.

Ren lifted his chin, and when he noticed Leo's eyes filled with tears, he dropped to his knees right away and pulled him into a hug, whispering softly,

"My baby… calm down.

Please, don't cry."

He pulled back slightly, then kissed him on the eyes.

"I promise you… I will never let you go back to the life you had before.

You're mine, and I won't leave you for as long as I live."

Leo smiled, then slowly closed his eyes, his head falling onto Ren's shoulder.

Sleep took him almost instantly.

Ren fastened his seatbelt, kissed him softly on the forehead, and started driving again.

He kept holding Leo's hand tightly, whispering every now and then that he was the cutest person and the only one for him in this world.

Jin and Dex were still at the Viewpoint, talking with each other.

The topic of their discussion was Ren and his character.

Dex had started to like him, even without really knowing him yet.

What Dex had asked for finally arrived.

Two tall, handsome guys slid into the seats beside him, their toned bodies impossible to miss.

Dex was left speechless by their perfect presence.

He smiled the moment he saw them and could barely wait for what was about to happen.

Jin stood up, smiling.

"I'm leaving… feeling like the extra one here. You go on and have fun," he said.

Just as he took two steps away, Dex's phone light flashed on the table.

Jin glanced at the screen and saw the name: Spoiled kid

"That has to be Han," he thought, and immediately told Dex to pick up the phone.
