Eyes on Him
Smart stayed for a few seconds, looking into Jin's eyes, then spoke right away.
"Sorry I didn't knock—I didn't know you were busy," he said with a soft smile.
Jin's eyes moved from Smart's feet up to his head, amazed by the beauty he was seeing.
He couldn't look away, staring until Smart signaled him to stop.
Then Smart lowered his eyes toward the person, who was now sitting in a chair across from Jin. But Smart only saw his back.
He thought for a moment, realizing Jin might be in a work discussion and that he had barged in like a careless fool without knocking.
"Okay… I'll leave then.
Sorry for interrupting," Smart said, getting ready to open the door.
"Smart, come here," Jin said, waving him over.
"I want to introduce you to someone."
Smart turned back and walked toward Jin, looking at him with longing, as if he hadn't seen him for a whole year.
They had only spent the night apart, but they had stayed together all day, still keeping up their fake drifting practice almost every day.
Jin even liked watching Smart act clueless behind the wheel when he was around.
But as soon as Jin stepped away—to the bathroom or somewhere else—Smart would take the chance to show off his skills, even if just for a few moments.
Jin would sometimes take his time on purpose, just to see what Smart could do from a distance.
Almost every day was the same.
They spent the whole day together, then at night, each slept in their own home.
But again, Smart got distracted, staring at Jin like he wanted to take him in completely, lost in his deep thoughts.
"Smart… do you hear me?"
"Smart…" Jin gently touched his face to get his attention.
"Hmm… yeah," Smart smiled. "I got a little lost."
Jin lightly teased him.
"Am I the reason you're so distracted? Right?"
"Mmmm… yep," he murmured, feeling a little shy.
"Then… my presence is too much here.
Better I go," a deep, unique voice was heard.
Smart had completely forgotten that someone else was in the office.
The voice sounded familiar to his ears, and he turned his head immediately.
"Smart—this is Dex, my friend and Leo's," Jin said.
Smart looked at Jin in surprise, then at Dex.
"Holly shit—so this is Jin's friend," Smart thought, looking at Dex with interest.
"Hello, Dex—nice to meet you.
I'm sorry for my friend's behavior earlier," Smart said.
Jin looked surprised, curiosity written all over his face.
"When did you two meet?" he asked.
"We met downstairs before I came here," Dex replied, extending his hand to Smart.
"You don't need to apologize for him!
It's all good. I'm not upset."
"Dex! Smart is my cute boyfriend," Jin added.
"Why didn't I meet him earlier?" Smart asked quietly.
"Because he was on a tour outside, and now he's back," Jin said, covering up the fact that he was the one who asked him to come.
"A tour?" Smart asked, surprised.
"Yep—I'm a singer, more precisely a rapper and producer," Dex said right away.
"Wow—so cool!
Sorry I didn't know you before. I don't know much about music or artists here.
But I'd love to come to one of your concerts!
I want to hear you sing!" Smart said.
Smart only had a little time in China, so he didn't know much about the country.
"But I'll teach him everything," Jin said, smiling.
"Smart—you can come to my studio anytime and listen to me," Dex said, looking him up and down.
"Fuck… I've never seen such a perfect mix of looks before," Dex thought.
"Jin really knew how to pick perfectly," Dex thought.
Then he turned back to Jin—and met that killer look.
That look… it was a warning.
It seemed to say:
"Dex… you motherfucker, where do you think you're looking?"
Smart turned to Jin.
"Can I go?"
Jin gently stroked his hair.
"Of course! But not alone," he said, looking at Dex. "We'll go together."
"I'm so excited! Can't wait to hear your rap and music!" Smart said, grinning.
"It's great to meet you, Dex. And I should also apologize for my friend's behavior earlier… but he didn't wake up on the right side of the bed today!" Samart added, smiling.
""Alright, I'll leave you two alone now—I guess you have a lot to discuss," Smart said.
He was about to move when Jin grabbed him by the waist and pulled him closer.
Dex watched the move and smiled lightly, shaking his head.
"Where do you think you're going?" Jin asked, his voice sharp.
"What's this behavior in front of your friend? Let me go now…"
"I'm not letting you go until you tell me—where are you going?" Jin asked firmly.
""I'm going to grab a coffee with Han nearby. Satisfied now?" Smart raised one eyebrow and gently pushed Jin aside.
"Who gave you permission?" Jin asked, his voice sharp, even though Dex was right there.
Smart looked him straight in the eyes and smirked.
"Here we go again. Does he think I'll just obey in front of his friend?"
""Alright then… you asked for it. Now deal with the consequences," he thought, and immediately responded.
"Permission?" he asked, giving him a teasing look.
"I wasn't born to ask anyone for permission," Smart said with a grin, feeling proud of himself.
Jin realized Smart had done it on purpose.
Now he was starting to understand him better.
He caught Dex's eyes and gave him a subtle signal.
Smart noticed it but didn't understand what was happening.
Dex smiled, spun his chair, and turned to face the door.
At that moment, Jin reached out, grabbed the necklace around Smart's neck, and pulled him forcefully closer.
Their faces drew near, lips almost brushing.
Smart froze for a moment, not expecting Jin's move.
He knew Jin was unpredictable, but he hadn't imagined he'd act like this in front of his friend.
"So… what were you saying?" Jin whispered just above his lips, letting out a warm breath that made Smart shiver slightly.
Smart lifted his eyes and stared back, exuding a calm, cool confidence as if nothing could faze him.
"What you heard," he replied.
"Do you want me to repeat it?"
Jin knew Smart was doing it on purpose.
What Smart didn't know was that this teasing was actually turning Jin on.
If it hadn't been intentional, Jin would have completely lost it—and who knows how he might have reacted to Smart!.
"Hmm… I suggest you don't keep this stubborn attitude, or I don't know what I might do," Jin warned softly.
Smart wasn't planning to back down—in fact, he pushed even further.
"I'm curious… what exactly could you do?" he teased.
"Alright, let's satisfy your curiosity," Jin said—and immediately kissed him with full force, taking his breath away.
Smart froze for a moment, his heart suddenly racing uncontrollably.
Jin placed his hand firmly on Smart's face, never breaking the kiss, until Smart relaxed and returned it.
They kissed for several seconds, completely forgetting that Dex was in the room, hearing every sound of that fiery kiss.
Smart snapped out of it and pushed him away with his hands, whispering,
"What the hell do you think you're doing? Dex is right here!"
Jin reached around Smart's neck and immediately pulled him back.
"Just because Dex is here, you escaped my hands… okay.
Otherwise, I'd have dragged you into the studio, and I swear, we'd be crashing onto the couch."
Smart just muttered to himself, not saying a word.
"Where the hell are you going so damn sexy today?
Who are you trying to seduce???" Jin kept whispering into his ear, his voice low and teasing.
"You know I can't stand to see you like this—"
Smart didn't want to push things further with Dex still there, so he kissed him lightly on the cheek.
"I'm trying to seduce you, my Bubu , until you go completely crazy over me."
Jin stepped back slightly, looking Smart in the eyes.
"When you wear pink… I swear, my imagination just goes wild.
You look so… hmm… so…"
Smart placed a finger gently on his lips.
"Shhh… Don't raise your voice—Dex might hear."
""Let him hear it!" Jin whispered, his voice trembling with excitement.
"Dex won't mind," he added, barely able to contain his grin.
"So, tell me! On my first day of work, when I had the photo shoot…
That pink color I wore back then—was that your choice? Right?"
"Hmm… you're right! And whatever you wear, I pick it," Jin said, kissing him lightly on the lips again.
"Jin… you're not serious, are you?"
"Only when you like something and want to wear it!
There's nothing I can do about that," Jin said, smiling.
"You're completely crazy—did you know that?" Smart lightly tapped his chest.
"Yeah… I'm crazy, I admit it.
But only because of you—
You have a way of driving me insane.
You must've done some kind of magic," Jin said, running his fingers through Smart's hair.
***
"Are you two done with your provocations and emotional drama?" Dex's voice cut in—he had heard their entire conversation.
"Don't you feel even a little sorry for me?"
"You jerk… couldn't you wait just a little longer?" Jin snapped back irritably.
Dex turned toward them with a grin, while Smart suddenly started to feel shy.
Jin noticed it immediately and wrapped an arm around his neck.
"Don't feel shy. Dex is our friend, okay?"
Smart smiled.
"So… do you guys want to come for coffee too?"
"Okay," Dex said instantly, not even waiting for Jin's answer.
"Fine. I'm heading out first," Smart said, slipping out of Jin's arms and walking away.
Dex watched him go, then looked at Jin with a crooked grin.
""Damn… that kiss was insane.
I swear, I could feel the heat from across the room just from the way it sounded."
He leaned back casually.
"If I hadn't been here, you two would've ended up having sex for sure."
"So what is it? How many times have you done it here? On that chair? On the damn table?" He chuckled.
Jin lit a cigarette and sat down in silence, not bothering to respond.
"Don't tell me…" Dex stared at him.
"You two haven't had sex yet?"
Jin took a deep breath, then stood up and poured himself a glass of alcohol, offering one to Dex as well.
"Not yet… but it will happen soon," Jin said calmly.
"No way.
I can't believe this.
You've waited this long?
Are you serious?
You've gotta be kidding me," Dex said, staring at him in disbelief.
Jin exhaled a stream of smoke and stayed silent for a moment, then took another sip of his drink.
"I'm not joking. I told you—Smart is different. I think you saw that yourself."
"Damn…" Dex muttered, still shocked—more like traumatized.
He went quiet for a second, then downed his entire glass and leaned in closer to Jin.
"But that doesn't mean you haven't had sex all this time… right?"
"Dex, that's way too many questions. Shut it and sit down. That's enough."
"Unbelievable…
You seriously haven't touched anyone all this time?
Jin, tell me the truth. Don't play with me."
"I haven't been with anyone since the day Smart became my boyfriend.
That what you wanted to hear?
There. You got it. Now let it go—you're starting to piss me off."
Dex couldn't believe it.
It felt impossible.
"Why?" he asked, voice low, laced with disbelief.
"I need to know… I need to understand this."
Jin met his gaze, calm but charged.
"I tried… a few times, with someone else. To see if it could spark something.
But it never did.
I wasn't turned on… I didn't want to touch them.
My mind? It was only on Smart.
And my imagination… it went wild, just for him.
So no… I had no desire for anyone else."
Jin — what the hell is this fucking obsession that's taken over you?
Seriously?
Why are you going… so damn crazy over him?
He lit a cigarette. Took a slow drag. Then said it again.
You're burning for him.
Just like this cigarette in my hand.
Do you get it?
I don't have an answer to that.
I just… don't.
It's a matter of feelings.
And I can't control them.
And yeah… you're right.
I am burning for him.
I can't even explain with words how badly I want to make him mine.
I want him to be mine.
Only mine.
Dex took off his cap and scratched his head.
"Damn… you're not okay."
"Be careful you don't get hurt."
"Smart is younger than you. He'll need experience."
"With a face like his… who wouldn't fall for him?"
In that moment, Jin's eyes darkened. He slammed his fist against the table.
"I'll be the only experience he ever needs."
"He will never dare to look at anyone else but me."
Dex blinked, caught off guard by his reaction.
"Okay, okay… I'm not saying anything else."
"Come on. "Let's go get that coffee.
Smart's waiting for us."
"Wait. Tell me something first.
What's with this sudden obsession with coffee?"
"Because at that café…there's someone I want to test," he said, a sly smile spreading across his face.
"What? What are you trying to say?"
"I told you I bumped into a cute, mischievous face.
It's been stuck in my head ever since."
"He's Smart's friend."
"You mean Han?" Jin asked immediately.
"If his name's Han… then yeah, that's him.
And damn, he was so damn cute," Dex said, a wicked smile playing on his lips.
"Dex. Don't you dare," Jin warned, pointing a finger at him.
"Why?" Dex asked instantly.
"Because Han is Smart's friend.
And more importantly… he likes girls. Not guys," Jin said, his voice turning cold.
"That's not a problem for me."
"I know exactly how to make someone want me."
"And you know that better than anyone," Dex added, giving him a slow wink.
"I've made plenty of people change their sexual orientation… for me."
"No… Han is still a kid. You can't mess with him, okay?"
"A kid? How old is he?" Dex asked immediately.
"Just 22."
"Fuck… 8 years younger," he muttered.
Dex had never been with someone younger than himself.
Especially not with such a big age gap.
He always preferred peers… or someone older than him.
"Dex, don't think about stupid shit.
I didn't call you here for that.
Stay on topic. Forget Han."
"Jin, let me have my fun," Dex said immediately.
Don't test my patience.
You can have fun with anyone…
I'll even find as many as you want.
But not Han.
I won't let him be your toy.
How else can I make you understand this?"
"Of course.
You promised you'd welcome me properly when I got here…
But I'm not seeing it yet," he said, giving a sharp look.
"Hold up… you just got here.
In such a rush?
Relax… I'll take care of your pleasures too."
"Careful with your choices.
You know how I like them… and what I want.
Don't disappoint me. They have to fit my standards," Dex said, a spark in his eyes.
"You asshole… still the same.
One isn't enough for you?"
"You know it's not…"bu maybe I'll change my mind… if you put Han right in my hands."
I can stay with just him…
Don't need more," Dex teased, clearly to get a rise out of Jin.
"Dex!! Stop… don't push me.
I know what you're doing…
But… that's enough."
"Ok, ok… relax.
Just joking.
"You know I don't go for younger guys…
Babys aren't really my thing."
Jin grabbed the package and headed for the door.
"Let's get going…"
******
Smart sat across from Han, a cup of thick white hot chocolate warming his hands, barely able to wait for a sip.
"Han, Jin's coming now… with a friend of his."
"Which one? Leo?" Han asked calmly, then answered himself.
"What can I even say… Leo and Ren have been gone for days, like they're on their own little honeymoon.""
"Then which friend is it?"
Smart figured it was better not to tell him who Jin's friend was,
not wanting Han to start with his usual complaints again.
"You'll see when he gets here," Smart said, thanking the waitress for her service in the meantime.
She smiled and took a few steps to leave, then suddenly turned back.
"Can I have your contact?" she asked Smart.
At that moment, Jin was just a few steps behind Smart, watching the situation.
A wave of jealousy hit him, taking his breath away.
Dex was standing behind him, a smirk on his face.
Then he spoke in a low voice:
"What did I tell you earlier?
He needs experience… and damn, he's so successful that everyone around can't help but watch him."
Jin turned his head, and Dex was right…
The girls and guys were staring at Smart like he was famous.
Damn… even outside that world, he's got so many fans.
Imagine being one yourself… the kind of success you could have.
Fuck… I'll never allow it, Jin thought, keeping his eyes locked on Smart.
"Ah… thank you, but I can't.
I'm already taken," Smart said calmly to the waitress.
She apologized and then walked away.
"Damnnn," Dex's voice came from behind Jin.
"Your boy's really loyal to you."
Jin smiled, feeling amazing in that moment.
"He's my babe," Jin said, heading toward Smart.
Han noticed Jin and immediately gave Smart a look,
letting him know to get ready—Jin had seen everything.
"Now let's wait for the next explosion," he said quietly to Han.
"Hey Han, how are you? How was your first day at work?" Jin asked.
"Better than I thought.
It was cool… it was…"
But when his eyes landed on the person behind Jin, his gaze darkened and his words got stuck in his throat.
"What's he doing here?"
Then he turned to Smart.
"Look, Smart… that's the one who can't even walk without bumping into people!"
Jin immediately smiled at Han's reaction and sat down next to Smart.
"I know," Smart replied.
"This is Jin's friend I was telling you about."
Han glanced at him, but his eyes drifted back to the tattoos.
God… my eyes hurt just looking at all those scribbles on his body, Han thought silently.
"What a coincidence," Han muttered, lighting a cigarette.
Dex sat down next to him, grabbed a cigarette from Han's pack, and lit it.
"Glad to meet you, Han. I'm Dex."
Han immediately turned to him, studying him carefully, then reached out and removed his cap to get a better look.
Dex was taken aback by Han's confident move, but he couldn't help being drawn to it.
"What do you want to know?" he asked instantly.
