As Mart walked down the hallway back to the teacher's lounge, he was thinking:
"It's a pity about the potions, but you should never take something edible that was in the hands of your enemy Should I buy another bag, a ring or a demon pendant? I can't have all my money in one place."
The moment Mart entered the teacher's lounge, Professor Helen was sitting at her desk and near her was Iristel, the two of them had complicated looks, Professor Helen looked towards the private room they had been talking in earlier; Mart felt a bad feeling, but since he couldn't use his demonic energy he had to enter without checking.
Mart entered the private room and immediately felt a powerful and oppressive energy flooding just the surroundings of the room, in which sat at the back, Principal Persec Merliano whose gaze was stern.
"And this monster? Who is it? System, what Rank is this Demon at?" -Mart asked.
[Host's power is insufficient]
"That means that he is above the Maximum Point of the Fifth Rank," Mart concluded since the system had been able to detect the abominable beings that attacked the students on Marrac Mountain, and some of these were at the Maximum Point of the Fifth Rank. Although his attempt to find out the principal's Power Rank was useless, Mart sat in front of that terrifying character, with only a table in between.
Mart did not hesitate and searched through the memories that his body possessed and with great difficulty found only superficial information, "Persec Merliano, Principal of the Danterior Academy."
Persec took out a golden box from his demon ring, the box was similar to the silver box Mart had lost. Mart took it and immediately stored it in his demonic pouch.
-I thank you, Director Persec Merliano. -Mart expressed in a formal and respectful tone.
-You surprised me; are you trying to change? Is it because of that maid named Iristel, or because of the student Selis? -asked Principal Merliano, who was meticulously observing Mart's every gesture.
-For the three of them, or maybe four, although I don't know yet, the future will tell, but I must be powerful by then. -Mart tried to remain calm even though with every second that passed, the energy of the Merlian Director was getting stronger, which made it difficult for him to breathe.
-Do you plan to be a warrior like your ancestors? -asked the director.
-Not at all, if you are saying that because of what happened with that disrespectful student, I apologize for my lack of manners, I was overcome by stress; but what I want is to become a powerful demon capable of handling the different ways of manifesting demonic energy.
-Do you want to be a demonic sorcerer? -Asked the director using his demonic vision to see the demonic energy circulating in Mart's body and his absorption speed.
"No, I want more than that," Mart replied to himself, then said to the director:
-I will try my best and do everything within my power.
THE director kept silent, continued to watch Mart and then said to him in a firm voice:
-Life gave you a second chance, do not waste it.
Mart's mind trembled as he heard those words, but he held back as much as he could so as not to show it.
The director stood up, looked at him with firmness and a greater severity than before, then using an oppressive tone told him:
-You found a treasure and threw it away; It is still within your reach; I'm curious to know what you'll do.
"Did you mean Selenia, or are you just mixing things up," Mart could only remain silent until the Merlian director left the private room taking his powerful energy with him.
"If he didn't mean me; does he know about the demon god energy Selenia possesses? Then why did he let her come back? How absurd, there is so much instability, I must concentrate on my power to be able to act decisively, I can't stop at every single thing", While Mart was thinking he opened the door of the private room and Iristel approached him and asked him with concern, since there was no one in the Academy who was not afraid of director Persec:
-How did it go?
-I'm fine for the moment, but you stay away from Selenia, she is dangerous. -Mart indicated and walked with Iristel towards the exit of the teacher's lounge after bowing respectfully to Professor Helen.
Outside the teacher's lounge, Iristel kissed Mart and then said:
-I have to go, see you later.
-Come to me, if anything happens, no matter what. -Mart told her firmly.
Iristel told him:
-If that makes you feel better; that's what I will do.
After those words Iristel left and Mart went to his room, because he wanted to read the books he asked Emy for, he knew he had to improve the base of his knowledge, and then go into the demonic world of medium level spells and curses.
••••
In his room Mart was reading the second book he borrowed, he had already finished the first one, after a few hours of reading, and had even made some notes to create new forms of concatenated demonic spells.
"Curses are ways of altering the energy flow of beings, causing fatigue, illness and in the most serious cases death. It's all because of the alteration of the energy flow; Asfil should consider this field," Mart thought as he read the introductory information in the second book.
Knock, knock, knock.
Mart looked at the window, it was getting late, he stood up, walked to the door, and as he opened it he saw a tall student. Mart did not consider himself short with his 1.77 meters of height, he was calm with that, but now, in front of him was a student of 1.89 meters, rough looking, brown hair and four eyes of completely black color with a green pupil in the middle, the student's skin was of a strange light blue color, although Mart did not give it more importance, because he was already used to see different types of demons.
The tall demon in front of him said without hiding his anger and contempt:
-You hit my subordinate, do you know what I'll do to you?
-I'm not interested. He deserved it, and if you come to defend that scum, you won't be any better off. -Mart expressed firmly.
The rude student was Alcron Terianz from third year class A, he was the son of Duke Terianz and second in the line of succession of the Terianz house, so when he heard Mart speaking to him with confidence it surprised him a little, but it did not scare him; Alcron looked, firmly and hatefully, at Mart, after a few seconds he warned him:
-Careful Mart Sevec, I'm not like those trash who bow down to your grandfather's power.
The instant Terianz turned around, Mart closed the door and returned to the chair in front of his desk to continue reading.
