Chapter 364 - Chapter 365 Back to School

"Couldn't tell he had such a childish side, huh?" Kaisen raised an eyebrow, then looked at Harry, seeing a hint of helplessness amidst his embarrassment, which certainly didn't look like he was being bullied. He shrugged, allowing Harry to step forward.

Upon reaching the first floor, he naturally walked towards a small bar where Sirius, Lupin, and Hagrid were. Their table was laden with various fine wines dug out from who-knew-where in the Black Old House.

Kaisen, like a fish entering the sea, pulled up a chair and sat down. If it were other situations, he would only be moderately fond of them, but this situation... honestly... he truly loved it.

"Kaisen's drinking capacity, like the ocean's direction, oh, I'll give you guys something fierce!" Kaisen decisively used a large glass of Water of Life and a small glass of whiskey to create a powerful depth charge for them.

After downing it, he couldn't help but continuously blow air outwards.

"Whoosh… whoosh… So refreshing, haven't drunk like this in ages!" Kaisen said, his face flushed, while continuously blowing air.

"This stunt you pulled is a bit too much… I'm worried Lord Voldemort won't even attack before you drink yourself into St. Mungos," Lupin, the only rational one present, said with some concern.

"No worries, no worries… Next time you drink, remember to call me, oh. It's not allowed to secretly drink without me," Kaisen said while continuing to pour for himself.

"I'll go get some snacks, what do you need… fish and chips? Hmm… and a pork pie would be good," Sirius walked towards the kitchen.

"He can cook?" Kaisen asked, bewildered.

"Perhaps after Kreacher was sent to Hogwarts, Sirius himself honed some decent cooking skills," Chang explained.

"But why didn't he think of hiring another House-elf? Although the House of Black now only has Sirius left, if he wanted a House-elf, he couldn't possibly be short, could he? He could just buy one from any merchant guild," Kaisen said, somewhat confused.

"He probably doesn't like a life where someone is constantly watching him," Lupin explained.

At this moment, Sirius also walked over, carrying two plates of snacks: "Try my cooking!"

Kaisen casually picked up a chip… The taste was exactly the same as what he had eaten at a shop in Diagon Alley before, but thinking of this, he still…

"Your cooking is really good, Sirius! After Lord Voldemort is completely dead, you could even find a restaurant to be a chef!"

Kaisen, Lupin, and Hagrid all showered Sirius with compliments, making him so elated that he wished he could order a few more takeaways right then.

"It's just that Lord Voldemort is rampant now, and I'm bored at home, so I'm cultivating some healthy little hobbies to cultivate my temperament," Sirius was also a clever person. At this point, he directly exaggerated, climbing up the pole.

He wasn't afraid of his big words slipping out and accidentally saying something that would incur Merlin's wrath and send down some heavenly thunder.

A beautiful and harmonious drinking session ended in Sirius's elation, and with it, the Christmas holiday.

The new Minister for Magic was much more personable than Fudge; all the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic, except those remaining at the Ministry and guarding important Wizard gathering points, were dispatched to escort the Hogwarts Express.

This naturally included Kaisen, although he was very dissatisfied with the hard seats in the train carriages, and the Hogwarts Express apparently didn't live up to its name. It took almost an entire day to get from London to Hogsmeade Village, and he didn't know which genius came up with the name 'Express'.

Unbelievable!

The train clanked along the tracks all day, and by the end, Kaisen was walking on tiptoes with every step, hoping it might offer a tiny bit of relief to his stiff, aching backside.

Just a little bit would be fine.

He kept strolling outside until the last Little Wizards had entered the Hogwarts Great Hall before he followed them in.

All the Professors and Little Wizards were already seated, leaving only him.

Seeing this, he quickly returned to his seat. Dumbledore slowly stood up and said only two words: "Eat up!"

The Little Wizards liked such a Principal, and similarly, Kaisen also liked such a Principal.

Who wouldn't like a Principal who doesn't hold meetings during after-school hours and doesn't give long speeches before meals?

.......

The next day...

Kaisen woke up from his hangover, rubbing his head as he walked downstairs.

The office corner was piled high with various gifts, which made Kaisen feel happy.

There were yellow, red, blue, and green ones. Although slightly fewer than in previous years, the quantity was still considerable.

"Looks like my popularity in Slytherin isn't too bad after all." Kaisen picked up a Slytherin gift and unwrapped it. It was an exquisite brooch, shimmering with silver-green light, and then with a 'pfft' sound, it squirted water all over Kaisen's face.

".... I'm really impressed. Is this really not bought from the Weasley Twins?" Kaisen helplessly wiped his face, then pinned the brooch to his chest. He would study its magic circuit later and could squirt Dumbledore in the face with it someday.

Soon, he had unwrapped all the gifts, but honestly, most of them were... quite ordinary.

The first squirting brooch gave him the most surprise.

Then he started tidying up the wrapping paper characteristic of each house, putting them into a steam high-pressure press to flatten all the wrinkles, so he wouldn't have to buy wrapping paper next Christmas.

After all, money... save where you can, spend where you must. If it weren't for the fact that the greeting cards on the gifts were sometimes directly threaded onto the gift ties, he would have just used those cards as next Christmas's greeting cards.

Of course, it wasn't that he didn't want to spend money on them; it was purely because he was too lazy to write.

After all, even if there were forty people per year, seven years, even excluding the first and second years, there would be nearly two hundred people, plus faculty, other friends... My goodness.
