Ling Er slowly stepped out and she patted on her chest in relief when she saw Lao Er being safe and sound.
But even when she saw that Lao Er wasn't hurt, she still asked, "Are you alright?"
Lao Er nodded his head at her and said, "I'm fine but that man…"
He turned his head and glanced in the direction where Lin Xuan Qi was.
"He is dead?" Ling Er frowned and asked.
Lao Er kept quiet and nodded his head at her again.
"So, where do we go now?"
"He told me that there's something important inside the temple before he passed, something which would help us achieve what we want."
"Really?" Ling Er was wary and she wasn't too sure about it.
But Lao Er was insistent about it.
"I'm pretty sure.
"That man had saved us from the other thugs and he was on the verge of dying when he told me that.
"I see no reason for him to lie to me in that condition." Lao Er said and it convinced Ling Er.
"Maybe we should tend to his body after we get what we want?" Ling Er suggested.
