Hidden behind the tall grass, Las watches with fury as his hand tightens around Sifu's staff. Right beside him, Skav, Piu, and Broom are also staring angrily.
Eli, on the other hand, remains calm, her gaze steady and completely controlled.
Directly in front of them, four animals are chained side by side, kneeling with their heads lowered, staring down at the dirt with empty, dead eyes. Right in front of them stands a Black Wolf, playing with his pistol.
Right beside him stands another wolf, wearing a black hat and black glasses. He reads some names from a white paper he holds in his hands, steps a little closer to the animals, and begins reading with a cold, sick voice.
Sergeant
"Squirrel.
Defect… broke his leg."
The executioner raises his pistol and shoots the squirrel in the head.
The chained animals do not react at all.
They just stare down at the ground.
Sergeant
"Ili pika…
aww, it's so, so cute…
Defect… high fever."
The executioner raises the pistol again.
The piercing cracks of gunfire echo through the forest, shaking the trees and making their branches tremble with rage.
Las's fury grows in front of this horror.
Las
"We have to do something."
Eli, completely calm, whispers:
Eli
"We need a plan. I'll go—"
Suddenly, a scream tears through the air.
Las
"I'LL CRUSH YOU, MONSTERS!"
Eli snaps her head around, shocked, and looks at Las, who is already running straight toward the Black Wolves.
She raises her hands and pulls at the long white fur above her head that looks like hair.
Eli
"MONKEY HEAD!"
A crooked smile appears on Piu's face.
Piu
"Let's get them, guys!"
Before the Sergeant and the executioner can react, Las bursts forward and leaps with lightning speed, bringing Sifu's staff down hard onto the Sergeant's head.
The Sergeant collapses unconscious to the ground, while his broken glasses and hat hang in the air.
All the Black Wolves remain speechless, staring at the Sergeant unconscious on the ground.
The executioner gets angry and suddenly raises his pistol to shoot Las.
But Skav's metal rod spins through the air like a flying disc.
And hits the wolf on the temple, knocking him unconscious to the ground.
Skav
"Perfect!"
A wolf gets ready to stab Skav, but Piu drops onto his head and bites his ears.
Wolf
"Get off me, you damned squirrel!"
A Black Wolf looks at Piu on top of his head and laughs mockingly. Suddenly, Broom runs behind him and pulls down his pants. The wolf suddenly looks at his pink underwear with hearts on it, runs in panic, and crashes face-first into a tree before falling down.
Eli runs toward the cages where the small animals are imprisoned.
She grabs the bars.
And with two quick, precise movements, she breaks the metal bars and frees the little ones.
Eli
"You're free. Run. Now!"
A small baby koala raises his finger and points behind Eli.
A tall, strong Black Wolf approaches, raising a large knife.
Black Wolf
"Little cat? Today, you die."
The wolf runs straight at her, but Eli takes one step forward and drives a powerful kick directly into his genitals.
His gaze turns toward the sky.
Black Wolf
"No…
my family!"
And suddenly, he falls to the ground.
Eli
"It's okay. You'll make another one."
The Black Wolves regroup and surround them, raising their weapons.
Las, Eli, Broom, Piu, and Skav stand shoulder to shoulder, pressed close beside one another.
The Sergeant appears smiling with his broken teeth and a bump on his head.
Sergeant
"Did you really think you would get away after that, you little shits?"
Eli turns toward Las and looks at him furiously, clenching her fists.
Eli
"If we survive this, I'm going to kill you myself."
Las stares straight into the eyes of the Black Wolves, tightening his grip around Sifu's staff.
Piu, with an overly sad cartoonish expression, looks at Skav and Broom.
Piu
"I'm glad I met you…
guys."
Suddenly, the ground begins to tremble as if something is grinding the dirt from underneath. The Black Wolves suddenly look down at the ground, then look at the Sergeant in fear.
Sergeant
"No… not them again…"
Suddenly, something bursts out from inside the ground.
Before the Black Wolves can raise their weapons or even see what happened, they fall unconscious.
The Sergeant, seeing the wolves down, turns around.
And runs away.
Suddenly, in front of Las and the others, something explodes up from beneath the ground, like a blast, raising a cloud of dirt and stones.
Everyone steps back and covers their faces from the dust.
From inside it, a cold, mocking voice can be heard.
Unknown Voice
"Uh…
sorry about the dust I raised."
The cloud of dust begins to clear, revealing a green figure with red harem pants and a black T-shirt, standing there, kneeling from the landing.
His right leg is bent forward, pressing against the ground, and his left knee is down on the dirt… a tall, strong lizard with black glasses looks at them, smiling mockingly.
