[Interlude – Sona Sitri POV]
Sona Sitri leaned forward, her chin resting on one hand, glasses glinting with reflected light as she scrolled through the file.
The name at the top was simple.
Hyoudou Issei.
Age: 16
Race: Human
Status: Civilian, (*Non-Aware*)
Affiliation: N/A,
Something of notice:Exorcist Childhood friend Irina Shidou, Exorcist Touji Shidou
Evaluation: Ordinary. Harmless. Church Affiliation?.
At least, that was what the report used to say.
No mention of being an alchemist or any involvement in supernatural world aside fr being am exorcist childhood friend.it's almost as if he popped up out nowhere.
Sona sighed quietly, closing the digital file before glancing toward the window.
The late morning sun filtered through the blinds, painting her desk in narrow lines of gold and shadow.
She rubbed her temples, the boy had brought her more trouble in two days than most students did in a year.
"He's not here today," she murmured.
Her mind drifted back to the meeting yesterday , to the strange negotiation, the confidence in his tone, and the syringe-like device he had offered her.
That stimpack now sat on her desk. A small, metallic injector filled with a faintly glowing fluid. No magic signature. No demonic energy.
Sona picked it up carefully, turning it in her fingers.
"This medicine effectively healed his arm… I wonder if his claim about instant regeneration was true."
It had been sitting on her desk all night — untouched, yet constantly drawing her gaze.
The idea itself was absurd. A human creating something capable of rivaling Phenex Tears, without a trace of magic or demonic energy?
"an Alchemist, was it? I had no idea something like this could exist… and for such a practitioner to come to me for a few magic books in exchange for this is absurd. " she sighed.
She glanced toward the stimpack again.
If this could be replicated, the implications were staggering.
The Sitri Clan, long known for its research into healing magic, could dominate the market overnight. And beyond that… Rias.
"If this can be proven to work, I could use it as leverage to the Maou, giving rias a chance at freedom ... "
Rias marriage was due to politics and also because the of the healing the Phoenix Tears give to the devil as most conventional healing power is useless to devils.
For something of this scale, the Maou Ajuka Beelzebub himself would need to be involved. And once the Maou intervened, all rights and profit would be claimed by the 4 Satan and the most importanly the Astaroth Clan.
The Sitri could reproduce it, but by the time it was complete, Rias would already be married to Riser Phenex, this really needs the maou intervention to have the time necessary to save rias.
And if the Maou intervened, the cost would be steep. The profits and recognition would go entirely to the Maou, leaving the Sitri Clan with nothing but the hollow honor of discovery.
A quiet sigh escaped her lips. It wasn't just about wealth , it was about leverage, legacy, and power within devil society.
"As heir to the Sitri Clan," she whispered, "I can't afford to make sentimental decisions."
"Should I give this to the clan? Or.. give this up." she whispered.
"or should I have this to the Maou… if it means saving Rias?"
She hesitated, staring at the stimpack resting in her palm. The syringe's metallic sheen reflected on her glasses.
Her gaze lingered on the device's faint glow, reflected in the glass.
"But… if it could really help her…"
"We need to test it first — to determine if it truly works on devils. I only have four of these…"

Next Day
"HELL YEAH, I CAN DO MAGIC!"
I stared in awe at the small ball of fire floating above my hand.
I woke up feeling energized — more awake than I'd ever been — and excited to test out my newly acquired magic.
Casting [Ember] took no effort thanks to the assistance of Archive Magic.
---
[DING!]
A sudden chime echoed in my head.
[Gold Ticket Activated]
[Titan Armor] |Epic Ability|
Allows you to form a gigantic armor of kaiju proportions around yourself by fusing with the earth and shaping it into armor. The larger the armor, the more energy expended.
[Silver Ticket Activated]
[Virgo]
|Rare Familiar|
Fairy Tail - Virgo is a Celestial Spirit, representing the Virgo Constellation. She takes the form of a maid with considerable physical prowess and skill in Earth Magic. She is also a massive masochist which aids her endurance. As a Celestial Spirit, she is unable to be killed by normal means and her power scales with her owners.(Celestial spirits exist in Familiar Space instead of Celestial Realm by default unless Author decides otherwise)

"Hahaha! Yes!! Finally — something useful!"
I jumped in excitement, grinning from ear to ear.
"Issei!" my mom called from downstairs. The smell of breakfast wafted up — eggs, rice, maybe miso soup.
I calmed down quickly. If I accidentally blew a hole in the roof again, I'd definitely be grounded.
And now that I finally had a fighting chance against whatever supernatural craziness awaited me, I needed to keep a low profile.
Testing the armor inside the house was a terrible idea.
---
I went downstairs, deciding to help Mom with breakfast — trying to be a responsible son for once.
Peeling potatoes, setting the table, just… normal things.
We ate together, and I couldn't help but marvel at how good her cooking always was.
---
School
I went to school that day.
I couldn't avoid it forever. Once might be fine — twice, maybe — but if I started skipping too often, sooner or later some devil would show up at my house, politely demanding I attend class.
And honestly, they wouldn't be wrong. Kuoh Academy was technically their territory.
Still…
I slumped in my seat, staring at the whiteboard as the teacher droned on about quadratic functions. My mind, however, was a thousand miles away — replaying the fireball that had danced over my palm that morning.
Magic. Real magic.
The urge to try it again in class was strong — dangerously strong — but getting caught would mean an instant trip to the Student Council's office.
I sighed, resting my cheek on one hand and glancing out the window.
Sunlight streamed through the trees, stirring faint sakura petals still clinging to their branches.
"...Bored out of my mind," I muttered.
But beneath that boredom, a quiet excitement buzzed through my veins.
I'd finally taken my first step into something greater ,something that finally felt mine.
When school ended, I did my best to avoid the hallways and anyone who seemed suspicious.
No devils. No attention. Just… peace.
After that I headed out the school along the sea of students.

Meanwhile…
Earlier..
Black wings unfurled behind a woman perched atop a nearby building. Her violet eyes narrowed as she felt a faint surge of magical energy of a sacred gear somewhere in the distance,
near the where the devil reside.
she flies into the distance and perched on top of a building twking a goodlook on who triggered her Sacred Gear Finder.she looked around the students. Found it near near the bridge on she found a human brown hair and foolish expression.
"Hmm~?" she hummed with a sly smile. "a Sacred Gear? The dragon kind must be Twice Critical.. The nun isn't here yet, and the ritual isn't ready. Heh.?" She smiled with glee and put a sadistic expression.
She licked her lips, excitement flickering in her gaze.
"—let me play with this toy first."
She vanished into the sky, flying toward the eastern hill — toward the old, abandoned church.
Unaware of it all, Issei's actions had already started to shift the story's flow — moving events forward earlier than fate intended.
---
Later that Day
"Yossha!" I pumped my fist with a grin.
I'd gone to the nearby park to test out my magic and new ability.
[Titan Armor]!
The ground beneath me trembled. A surge of energy rushed upward as clumps of soil and stone wrapped around my body, hardening into a hulking, earthen shell.
The armor towered over me at first — then settled into a smaller, human-sized form.
"Guess I don't have enough juice for kaiju mode yet," I muttered, admiring my reflection in a puddle. "Still, this'll do."
A full-scale version would draw way too much attention. But this — this was perfect.
Strong enough to take a few hits. Maybe even tank a few light spears from that Fallen Angel who killed me in canon.
What was her name again? Raynare? Raykage? Something like that.
Either way — when that time came, I'd be ready.
My strategy was simple: Titan Armor, plus Anti-Material Rifle.
In other words — the Rudeus way.
ah I see from perverts to perverts I guess we have something similar.
Speaking of being a pervert.
"Hehehehe" I smiled and put on a perverted smile, really exited about summoning Virgo and that armor.
"Gu humm!" I quickly schooled my expression and let out my inner fairytail fan moments.
I must admit, I was a bit disappointed not doing the fire dragon slayer but Summoning Virgo must require for myself this moment a summoning chant.
"now! O spirit, answer my call and pass through the gate!. " The silver ticket break and produce almost definitely not a golden Celestial Gate key.
"Gate of the Maiden ,I open thee". I shouted her name.
"Virgo"
[Virgo]
|Rare Familiar|
Fairy Tail - Virgo is a Celestial Spirit, representing the Virgo Constellation. She takes the form of a maid with considerable physical prowess and skill in Earth Magic. She is also a massive masochist which aids her endurance. As a Celestial Spirit, she is unable to be killed by normal means and her power scales with her owners.
[Celestial spirits exist in Familiar Space instead of Celestial Realm by default.]
She appeared calmly, her appearance is elegant and cute and dressed in a maid outfit fitted with metal chains on the cuffs of her hands.
Virgo bowed. "You summoned Master.! What can I do for you?"
I feel giddy after completing summoning her.
And a bit cringe after realizing I kinda geeked out for a moment there.
I hope nobody saw that that.
Anyway with that said and done we need to practice my Magic.
I opened up my hand a few sparks of fire came out of it.
...
"Fuck!" That was so bad compared to the first time I casted the Archive Magic.
It must have been because it's been rolled from the gacha, making the [Chaos Gacha]bear the cost.
The issei in the anime at the start can't even use a basic teleportation magic because of low mana.
It must have been the same for me.
"Haah.!"
Feeling frustrated I start looking for an idea to do, since i can't use right now without fizzled out.
I must start from somewhere first,That's right it must be the
Mana Heart!
I quickly put my hand on my chest and feel my heart using spiritual interaction.
In many fantasy settings, having a mana heart causing mana to be pumped alongside blood and that must require a strong body.
Just looked at the one of the Strongest Human in dxd.
Vasco Strada
That body, THAT muscle must means something right?.
Now I see it,this must have been what differed from Merlin Magical System compared to Dxd magicians.
In exchange for only having only 3 slot for spells the mana heart gradually strengthen the body allowing a magis to be something like a magus from fate. and it must be superior too as the world itself is filled with mana.
I scrunched up my face and start making a decision that I will probably regretted in the morning and leave it to my future self.
(A/N:I'll call Merlin Practitioner Magus and dxd Practitioner from Grauzaubere Magician)
