His voice was warm and magnetic, very pleasant to the ear. Hearing his question, Serena Sutton felt even more embarrassed.
She looked at the screen. The man's features were delicate and handsome, his dark eyes staring at her. Serena swallowed. In the face of such a stunning appearance, she was still able to keep her composure. It was quite remarkable.
No wonder she was who she was.
"It's nothing really, just a bit hot," Serena said softly, lying through her teeth, then suddenly changed the subject, asking, "Did you see the pictures I sent you? A lot of people said you have a nice voice."
Caleb Lockwood lowered his gaze. He had just skimmed through without looking carefully. His thin lips parted slightly as he countered, "What do you think?"
It didn't matter what others thought; what mattered was her opinion.
Serena said, "I think it's particularly nice." She smiled shyly, looking a bit bashful.
