While the four of them were eating and chatting quietly, a bald man with an eye patch over his left eye was restless as he reviewed the information on the hologram in front of him.
"Are you telling me that SHIELD, with all our technology, has nothing on this spider-guy?" Nick Fury said, interrogating the man in front of him with his one visible eye.
Facing Nick Fury was his right-hand man, Phil Coulson.
Phil showed a helpless face as he pointed at the hologram on the table.
"Sir, Spiderman has been seen appearing in one part of New York City catching a thief, and then appearing dozens of miles away in another part of the city to rescue people trapped in a fire."
The hologram showed images captured by a security camera and images captured by passersby that were later uploaded to the Internet, with the figure of Spiderman appearing and stopping a thief who was fleeing after stealing a wallet.
Later, in another image, Spiderman appeared swinging on his webs and jumping over a burning building without fear of getting burned.
After pulling many people out of the burning building, the video ended with Spiderman retreating just after pulling a little girl out of the building's window and gently falling with the help of a spider web.
"He hasn't shown any ability that allows him to move at speeds that allow him to travel tens of kilometers in seconds, so we can only assume that he has the ability to teleport," Phil finished.
In both videos, you could see the time difference in just seconds.
Nick Fury's brow furrowed as he calculated there was only a 12-second difference before Spiderman appeared dozens of miles away.
SHIELD is supposed to monitor subjects like this arachnid guy and Nick Fury doesn't like not having information on him.
SHIELD has always done a good job of monitoring the world, so they have a lot of humans with super abilities in their sights and this is the first time they can't find anything on someone.
Someone with these abilities is not supposed to be able to hide forever.
He'd make a mistake and use his abilities in front of witnesses and/or a security camera. Either way would give SHIELD valuable information about this Spider-Man.
But so far, nothing.
It's like Spiderman doesn't exist.
But at least this guy is acting heroic, and he's not supposed to be a pain in Nick's neck.
But not.
With the emergence of Spiderman, many organizations and companies increased their efforts to create a super soldier, increasing the possibility that one of them would succeed.
It's a pain keeping an eye on everyone.
SHIELD has its sights set on all of these organizations and corporations, so they know their efforts have redoubled now that Spiderman has appeared in public.
As Oscorp Industries, who under the command of Norman Osborn, has an agreement with the military for the creation of a drug that can create a super soldier like the super soldier serum that Dr. Abraham Erskine made.
Because Stark Industries is the leader in the weapons industry and the favorite of the military, Osborn wants Oscorp to take that position by creating a super soldier.
Even more so now that Tony Stark is missing and many believe him dead.
Nick now regrets having promised Peggy Carter not to get involved with Tony Stark.
In Fury's opinion, if SHIELD were more involved with Stark this wouldn't have happened.
But until they find a body, they'll keep searching.
But while Stark is away, many don't have much hope for Stark Industries.
Tony Stark might be a playboy and all, but he was a genius and the face of Stark Industries.
Now that Oscorp has the funding of the military thanks to the appearance of Spiderman, they seek to occupy Stark Industries' position.
The military and other politicians are excited by the idea of having an army of super soldiers on hand.
Because of that, many organizations sent their people to New York with the idea of finding Spiderman.
Thinking about what's happening in New York City, Nick's brow furrows further.
Along with the appearance of Spiderman, events began to occur that shook the city's underworld and affected the world.
Many criminal gangs have been destroyed, with each passing night bringing down another criminal gang.
Evidence of their crimes was uploaded to the Internet, along with the participation of authority figures who were accomplices.
Every day, the news showed evidence uploaded to the internet of various crimes, and how police officers and other politicians were complicit.
Regarding the culprit of this, SHIELD has nothing either.
No video recordings have been obtained, and only statements from the few who remained alive are available.
According to them, an invisible figure moved quickly and brutally killed them.
Supporting these statements, they were found dead with their bodies badly beaten.
Some had dislocated or broken limbs.
And according to these statements, the culprit is a single person.
Having a vigilante on the loose doesn't sit well with Fury at all, and one so efficient even worse.
Someone with these skills and brutality is very dangerous out of control.
Nick rubbed his temple as he thought about what to do.
Not only does he have to find the person responsible for taking down all these criminal gangs and Spiderman, but he also has to monitor companies and organizations that want to create a super soldier.
"Okay, Phil, you can go."
"I'll let you know if there's a new order," Fury said, dismissing Coulson.
Phil nodded and left the room, leaving Nick Fury lost in his thoughts.

Days passed and tomorrow would be Monday, the day Peter would return to school.
His Spiderman activities were not as many as would have been expected and compared to other Spidermen from other realities.
And Peter spends most of his time training his body and mystical arts.
It is at night that he moves through the shadows of the city's night and pays a visit to different criminal gangs.
Meanwhile, Alfred searches for the Hydra leaders of the division that used Kevin to kidnap people and the locations where they take the kidnapped people.
Peter didn't get the location on the first try and had to visit different people to get the location.
With Aldred's help, he was able to find key people and search their minds for the location of these 'labs'.
As now, when Peter's figure is invisible as he looks at the mountain in the distance.
This mountain was actually a secret laboratory where this division of Hydra experimented on people.
Wearing a completely different disguise than he normally wears beneath an invisibility spell, Peter dashed forward.
The trees and patrols guarding the perimeter were useless against Peter and did not prevent him from entering through a secret entrance that was being used.
Sneaking up behind someone, Peter followed him into the lab and searched for key locations in this guy's mind.
Unfortunately, this guy was a low-level person here so Peter had to find someone else to get the information he wanted.
Peter grimaced at what he discovered.
In this lab he was working on recreating the super soldier serum, using various people in his experiments.
People were dying every day, so they needed new subjects every week.
That's where people like Erick come in, who is in charge of working with criminal gangs to kidnap people.
Children, adults, elderly.
This lab experiments with everyone to obtain the greatest amount of data.
Peter grimaced at the thought of these scientists who know they are no closer to creating a viable super soldier serum.
The only thing they can do is sacrifice more people in order to gather as much data as possible.
Knowing he needed to act quickly, Peter went through the minds of all these scientists, downloading all the valuable information and having him review it later.
He then went to the surveillance room where he put the guards to sleep and tampered with the cameras.
After that, he first took care of everyone outside the base before returning inside the base and putting the scientists to sleep.
After that, he checked the captives one by one and healed those who were most injured.
After checking that no one needed immediate help, he left the base to launch explosions.
The explosions were loud enough to be heard in the distance and attract attention.
