Boom!
The world-shaking battle fully erupted.
At this moment, the war at G-5 Base in the New World was broadcast through image Den Den Mushi across the globe, appearing clearly before every pair of eyes.
The world trembled.
…
In countless nations aligned with the World Government, kings who normally ruled with arrogance now sat pale and frozen upon their thrones.
"Hold on, World Government!"
"Five Elders, you can do it!"
"God's Knights, don't lose!"
"Beasts Pirates! Big Mom Pirates!"
A bloated king clutched his scepter and screamed hysterically at the screen.
He understood all too well. This was a decisive war with no turning back.
If the Marines won, then under the current uncompromising stance of Marine justice, kings like him who had enabled tyranny would be swept away without mercy.
In sharp contrast to their terror, the kings of Marine-allied nations showed a very different attitude.
Alabasta.
King Cobra sat calmly with his ministers, sipping red tea as they watched the battlefield unfold.
"Your Majesty… the Marines' chances…" one minister said, his voice trembling as he watched the apocalyptic clashes on screen.
Cobra took another sip, his tone steady and confident. "If the Marines dared to broadcast this to the entire world, then they are absolutely certain of victory."
His gaze was deep.
Fleet Admiral Sakazuki and Admiral Kuzan, the two highest combat powers of Marine Headquarters, still had not appeared.
That alone proved the Marines were holding overwhelming confidence.
Cobra set down his teacup and turned to the guards behind him. "Send the order. Set up image Den Den Mushi in every city square, in Alubarna, Nanohana, everywhere."
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
"Let all citizens witness it with their own eyes," Cobra said softly, turning back to the screen. "A new era… one that belongs to justice."
…
In front of the Isshin Dojo, a crowd of children gathered.
Their eyes were fixed on the screen, locked onto the green-haired figure wreathed in blood-red killing intent.
"It's Senior Brother Zoro!"
"Rear Admiral Zoro is so cool!"
When they saw Zoro transform into a streak of crimson light and charge fearlessly at the terrifying man with black wings and blazing flames, the children erupted in deafening cheers.
"That's the Beasts Pirates' top commander, King the Wildfire!"
"Go, Senior Brother Zoro!"
"Knock him flying!"
…
Shimotsuki Koushirou watched the screen, gazing at the disciple who had grown into a pillar of the Marines.
Then he looked at the chattering children beside him and smiled in quiet satisfaction.
"This is wonderful," he murmured.
…
The Baratie.
The restaurant was closed for the day.
Every chef stood in the center hall, beers in hand, shouting themselves hoarse at the massive screen.
"Go, Sanji, Vice Head Chef!"
"Don't lose, you idiot!"
Zeff held his teacup, pride impossible to hide in his eyes.
On the screen, Sanji's black raid suit flickered in and out of visibility amid the flames, his burning right leg snapping straight toward the man known as the greatest masterpiece of the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Katakuri.
"Show him what the Baratie's vice head chef can do!"
"Kick him away! Kick him all the way to the All Blue!"
The chefs pumped their fists wildly, beer foam splashing everywhere.
"Hahahaha!"
…
Cocoyasi Village.
Nojiko held a Den Den Mushi, speaking with Nami far away at Marine Headquarters.
The village square basked in warm sunlight, orange trees filling the air with fragrance.
All the villagers had gathered, watching the live broadcast with smiles full of hope.
"Nami! Do you see it?" Nojiko's voice trembled with excitement.
"Of course, sis! The whole headquarters is cheering for G-5!" Nami's bright, energetic voice rang out from the Den Den Mushi. "Everyone in the Navigation Department is going crazy! They're all shouting Brother Hawk's name!"
"The Marines will win!" Nojiko clenched her fist.
"Justice will win!" Nami replied firmly.
…
They both looked at the screen, at the young figure standing atop the fortress like a god overlooking the battlefield, and smiled brightly.
He was their hero.
The savior of Cocoyasi Village.
And the most dazzling new Admiral of Marine Headquarters.
Blood Eagle, Renn Hawk.
…
G-3 Base.
The Marines' secret laboratory.
A massive screen displayed the live battlefield.
Sentomaru stood with arms crossed, his massive frame perfectly straight.
His eyes were locked onto one figure in the corner of the screen.
From childhood until now, having been taken in by the Doctor and his uncle, he had never seen such seriousness on Kizaru's face.
No indifference. No casual disguise.
Only resolve.
Uncle… you're going all out this time.
"Satan Saint," Kizaru's voice rang out on the screen. "Have you ever seen light?"
…
Nearby, Bonney watched quietly.
Unlike the others, she barely noticed the battle.
Her clear eyes reflected only one person.
Bartholomew Kuma.
Her heart tightened.
After finally gaining a peaceful life, she did not want to lose it again.
"Don't worry, Bonney," a gentle voice said beside her.
Vegapunk had appeared at her side, pointing proudly at his enormous head. "After the Summit War, I didn't rest for a second."
The confidence and fervor unique to a genius scientist filled his face.
"All my efforts went into upgrading these children."
His gaze shifted to the Pacifista battling the God's Knights on the screen.
"They haven't even shown their strongest side yet."
…
New World, G-5 Base.
On the frozen sea, the war had reached its fiercest stage.
A knight of the God's Knights swung his blade, releasing a pitch-black slash that cleaved open the chest of a PX-Ice unit, exposing its intricate machinery.
Another knight moved like a phantom, slipping behind a PX-Magma and tearing apart its power system with clawed hands.
The balance of the ground battle began to tilt.
Even with abilities rivaling the former three Admirals, the new Pacifista still fought too rigidly against these elite warriors handpicked from the Celestial Dragons' ranks.
Thrust!
Kuma stepped forward to shield a PX-Light on the verge of destruction, taking a knight's piercing strike straight through his back.
The blade tore through his solid body, bringing a spray of warm blood.
He grunted, but did not take a single step back.
"Bartholomew Kuma."
Not far away, the commander of the God's Knights, Saint Garling Figarland, watched with cold disdain.
"So you dare defy those above you?"
His eyes swept over the faltering Pacifista, and he snorted.
"And these crude replicas. This is Vegapunk's masterpiece?"
"Pathetic."
…
Kuma ignored him.
He silently pulled the sword from his body and tossed it aside, blood soaking the ice beneath his feet.
In his mind appeared Bonney's innocent smile.
Then Renn Hawk's words echoed.
"The Marines will always stand behind you."
He would not fall.
"Pacifista units. System reconstruction."
Kuma slowly raised his hand, pointing not at the enemy, but at the sky.
His voice, transmitted on a special frequency, reached the core systems of every Pacifista.
Buzz!
Every Pacifista on the battlefield froze.
Then something unbelievable happened.
The thirty deep-blue PX-Ice units disassembled instantly, breaking apart into countless gleaming mechanical components that spun and recombined in midair.
In mere seconds, they formed a pair of colossal legs and an unbreakable frost-forged torso.
When the legs slammed down, the temperature of the entire ice field plummeted once more.
Boom!
At the same time, the thirty dark-red PX-Magma units exploded apart.
They reshaped into two massive magma arms and a shoulder-mounted weapon system bristling with cannons, perfectly locking into the icy torso.
The searing heat distorted the air itself.
"What?" Garling's mocking expression froze.
The God's Knights faltered in shock.
But it was not over.
Whoosh!
The final thirty golden PX-Light units dissolved into pure golden light particles.
Like a living tide, the light surged into the towering body of ice and fire.
It became its neural network.
Its ultimate energy core.
Its streamlined golden armor, radiating a sacred glow.
Ninety Pacifista vanished.
In their place stood a colossal war machine over a hundred meters tall, fusing the ultimate powers of ice, magma, and light.
It stood silently upon the ice field.
Its left arm was a magma cannon. Its right arm an extreme-cold ice blade. Its golden body was covered in countless laser ports.
At the center of its chest was a transparent cockpit.
Kuma sat inside.
He was its heart.
He was its soul.
"Pacifista. New Century."
Kuma's voice echoed across the battlefield.
The massive single eye of the machine ignited with crimson light, locking onto Garling's rigid figure.
"Extreme evil detected. Commencing eradication."
