When Huai En forcefully entered, Xiao Bao was lying on the couch, flanked by beauties on both sides, their half-exposed soft breasts on display, draping over him as if boneless.
Xiao Bao was well-versed in such places, mingling effortlessly with a crowd of spoiled young nobles, engaging in lively banter, and surrounded by beauty, truly in his element.
Although he came half reluctantly at first, the familiarity of everything soon quietly restored a bit of his former pride. Lately, in Huai En's presence, he had been nothing but submissive, constantly being overshadowed and toyed with. While the nourishment of love was indeed refreshing, his male pride was somewhat hurt. The frustration of willingly degrading oneself, with no one to confide in, coupled with the ecstasy of being with Huai En, made him grateful yet internally discontent. Thus, after a few drinks, his fear and guilt over visiting the brothel behind Huai En's back faded away.
The flattery he received made him as euphoric as ever, and the beauties by his side were at his complete disposal. Although he was tempted, he dared not do anything substantial; indulging excessively these past few days had left him physically weak. Moreover, he was not good at keeping secrets; if he truly did something, Huai En might notice. In his heart, all the beauties of the world could not compare to a fraction of Huai En's charm.
Huai En was his everything, and that was enough.
However, as a man, he naturally enjoyed the feeling of being in control.
The confidence he couldn't get from Huai En seemed to be rapidly inflating with the help of alcohol, providing him a sense of relief and a moment to hold his head high.
He barely remembered the "legitimate" reason for his visit today, which was to deal with Su Yin's matter, pondering over a convincing excuse to make these young nobles happily part with their silver. Then, amidst the sounds of screams and the noise of tables and chairs, the door was violently hit, silencing everyone inside. As the noise drew closer, all heads turned towards the door in unison.
The door, accompanied by a loud noise, was forcibly opened by an external force in the next moment, shaking the entire door frame violently.
If the door hadn't been hinged, it would have flown out along with the entire wall.
Huai En, dressed in white, his face twisted and his body radiating a cold light, appeared before them. Xiao Bao felt a chill rising from his feet to the top of his head, with only one thought in his mind: he was doomed.
The few people in the room, with their drunken eyes, watched the figure that had appeared out of nowhere, speechless.
Xiao Bao's lips trembled, trying to say something, but under Huai En's icy glare, he felt even more guilty and afraid, as if his throat was blocked and his mind was in chaos, unable to form words.
Huai En's black pupils harbored a brewing storm as he stared into Xiao Bao's soul and said seriously, word by word, "You lied to me."
Xiao Bao, startled, pushed away the women who, clearly intimidated by Huai En's aura, had clung to him. He tried to stand up, but the long periods of lying down had numbed his legs, and the alcohol made his arms weak.
He fell back as soon as he tried to get up, but this fall seemed to shake off the frustration within him, allowing him to finally speak and look into Huai En's eyes in a rush, "I didn't."
Huai En, hearing this defense, became even more furious, his entire body trembling, and he repeated through gritted teeth, "You lied to me."
Xiao Bao half crawled and knelt on the ground, pleading in a low stance, "Huai En, I didn't, please let me explain."
Then, someone drunk enough to not fear death jeered, "Jin... Master Jin...
who is this? Looks like... he's dressed as a woman... wow, so beautiful, isn't he, Master Jin's... wife? Caught in the act... haha."
The few sober ones didn't dare to breathe loudly, while the drunk ones joined in the laughter.
Before anyone could see what happened, the one who had spoken was slapped so hard that he rolled three times on the ground, hit a table leg, and passed out before he could even groan.
Panic ensued in the room, and some began calling for their servants.
Xiao Bao glanced outside, where Zhao Cai was fighting fiercely with Zuo Ying, and their entourage was confronting the people Zuo Ying had brought.
Huai En could easily kill them all and still walk out unscathed.
The two women beside him screamed exaggeratedly, cluelessly clinging to him.
Huai En's eyes were filled with bloodshot, stepping closer to him.
Xiao Bao's voice trembled, "Huai En, I was wrong, but I didn't do anything to betray you. Let's go back... and talk, okay?"
Two sharp screams followed; a red and a green figure were thrown against the wall. Both were silent after hitting the ground, and Xiao Bao didn't dare to check whether they were dead or alive. He knew he had truly angered Huai En this time.
The young nobles in the room scrambled to their feet, helping up the three who had collapsed and stumbling out the door.
In a blink of an eye, the spacious and elegant room was left with only the two of them.
Xiao Bao scrambled up from the ground, looking at Huai En with a pleading gaze, "I was wrong about this matter. Can we go back and talk about it nicely, I never...ugh!"
Huai En gripped his neck, lifting him off the ground. Xiao Bao's feet dangled in the air, his breathing constricted, and his face turned purple-red from suffocation.
Huai En's eyes were a blood-red mass as he spoke fiercely, "Jin Xiao Bao, you dare to deceive me!! What did you say that day!! You dare to deceive me!! I won't allow you to go back on your word!!!"
"I...cough...Huai..."
Just when Xiao Bao felt he was about to be choked to death, Huai En had already thrown him onto the ground. Xiao Bao slid a meter away on the smooth surface, coughing violently as he gulped in air.
Catching a shadow in the corner of his eye, he suddenly felt a weight on him. Huai En straddled him, looking down from above. His eyes no longer held their usual gentleness, instead reflecting the fierce and cold demeanor of their first meeting.
Just as Xiao Bao was about to speak, a slap left half of his face numb, his head buzzing, blood trickling down from the corner of his mouth.
Tears welled up in Xiao Bao's eyes; he had never been so afraid before.
The current Huai En resembled a beast ready to tear him apart at any moment. He was both anxious and regretful, wishing this was all just a nightmare.
Unfortunately, he knew all too well that nightmares don't cause physical pain. Every time he attempted to plead for mercy, a slap awaited him. Xiao Bao's cheeks were swollen and red, tears flowing freely as he no longer dared to utter a word.
He regretted his gullibility, regretted coming to this damned place, and regretted angering Huai En. If this incident destroyed all of their past moments, he would rather die. If Huai En killed him, so be it. If not, would he have to live with regret for the rest of his life?
Xiao Bao dared not speak, only crying while clutching at Huai En's sleeve, begging silently with his eyes and gestures for mercy, but Huai En showed no compassion.
He shook off Xiao Bao's hand, grabbing his chin to ask, "Is it because I haven't served you well enough that you, Young Master Jin, had to seek prostitutes?"
Xiao Bao shook his head frantically, "I didn't, I wouldn't dare, I was just here to drink." His words hardly convincing even to a child, Xiao Bao racked his brain for ways to appease Huai En's anger.
Huai En didn't give him time to think further. Grabbing Xiao Bao's collar, he ripped open his outer garment, then proceeded to tear off his lower garments.
Fear painted Xiao Bao's face as he struggled with both arms and legs.
Huai En wedged himself between Xiao Bao's legs, using torn pieces of cloth to bind Xiao Bao's hands above his head. His expression remained impassive throughout, which to Xiao Bao, resembled that of Huai En's when he killed.
Choking back sobs, Xiao Bao begged, "Huai En, please spare me, I was wrong, don't do this to me, please let me go, I won't dare to do it again."
Ignorant of mercy, Huai En paid no heed as he stripped the person beneath him, lifted his legs, and forcefully inserted his finger into that sensitive spot.
"Ah!!" Xiao Bao cried out in pain, his body writhing uncontrollably. In Huai En's rage, Xiao bao couldn't fathom what fate awaited him, how could he not be afraid?
Huai En's finger recklessly probed in and out of the tight space, while he gripped Xiao Bao's face, his voice cold, "You said you were tired, I understood you, but you unexpectedly had the energy to come here. I shouldn't have spared you, should I?"
With his cheeks pinched by Huai En, Xiao Bao couldn't speak, only shaking his head desperately.
"I told you! If you deceived me, I wouldn't let you off!! Did you think I was just bluffing?!"
"You swore! You provoked me first!! What did you say to me? All lies!!
Are you daring to deceive me?!"
"You touched those dirty women, then came back to sleep with me!!
What do you take me for?!"
"You belong to me alone, have you forgotten? Have you forgotten!!! Is it all fake!?! Do you dare deceive me?! Do you dare?!!"
Huai En expression twisted almost grotesquely as he withdrew his finger, gripping his own erect member and forcefully thrusting it inside.
Xiao Bao's short cry of pain got stuck in his throat due to the high pitch, leaving only hoarse groans. His neck arched back, veins bulging, his body convulsing as he tried to retreat and escape the immense pain caused by the invader.
