Chapter 48 - Chapter 48 Speed running HI3 plot

POV: 3rd Person

The heavy doors of the guest rooms opened one by one as Kiana, Mei, Bronya, and Seele stumbled out into the hallway, rubbing the sleep from their eyes. However, their lingering drowsiness instantly vanished the second a heavenly, mouth-watering aroma wafted up from the first floor.

"W-What is that smell?!" Kiana gasped, her stomach letting out a loud, aggressive growl.

The four girls hurried down the stairs and into the massive dining room, freezing in their tracks. The long dining table was filled with an absolute masterpiece of a breakfast spread. There were fluffy soufflé pancakes, perfectly glazed bacon, traditional Japanese tamagoyaki, rich miso soup, and freshly baked pastries.

Jay walked out of the kitchen wearing an apron, carrying a platter of perfectly seared salmon. Elysia followed closely behind him, humming happily as she carried a tray of fresh fruit juices.

"Ah, you're all awake," Jay smiled.

"Take a seat. Eat up before it gets cold."

Kiana immediately dove into the food, eating ravenously.

"Oh my god! This is the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life! It's so good!"

Bronya's eyes widened. Her hands moved with terrifying, robotic precision as she rapidly cleared her plate, while Seele ate politely but with obvious delight.

Mei, however, had a completely different reaction. As the heiress of the Raiden family, she had been strictly educated in high-class culinary arts. She carefully picked up a piece of the tamagoyaki with her chopsticks and took a bite.

Mei completely froze. Her mind rapidly analyzed the dish—the flawless temperature control, the perfect harmony of the seasoning, the texture that melted perfectly on her tongue.

"Jay-san..." Mei spoke softly, looking up at him with a mix of deep awe and absolute defeat.

"I have eaten at the most luxurious restaurants in the world, and I thought my own culinary training was sufficient... but this... my skills are absolutely nothing compared to yours. This is a true masterpiece. It surpasses everything I have ever tasted."

Jay chuckled, untying his apron. "Don't be so modest, Mei. You have a great natural talent. With a little more practice, you'll be an amazing cook."

After breakfast, Jay waved his hand, tearing open the fabric of space. He stepped through the portal with Elysia and the four girls, arriving directly inside the high-tech command center of Anti-Entropy.

Standing by the main holographic table was Welt Yang, alongside Dr. Einstein and Dr. Tesla.

"Welcome," Welt spoke, his voice carrying a calm, majestic authority. He introduced himself formally to Kiana and Mei, apologizing for the crisis Cocolia had put their families through.

"Welt," Jay spoke up, cutting straight to the point.

"These girls possess immense potential, but they need proper guidance. I want you to train Bronya specifically."

Welt raised an eyebrow. "Bronya?"

"She is the absolute best candidate to become your successor as the Herrscher of Reason," Jay explained smoothly. He then smirked, adding a slightly teasing tone.

"Besides, let's be honest, Welt. Honkai energy seems to heavily favor the female physique and soul. Bronya will undoubtedly draw out the core's true potential far better than you can."

Tesla barked a laugh, while Welt simply sweatdropped, unable to logically refute the claim. "I... suppose you have a point."

"Before we start training, though," Jay suddenly checked an invisible watch on his wrist. "I have an errand to run. Wait here for exactly ten seconds."

Before anyone could ask, Jay vanished.

Exactly ten seconds later, space distorted violently. Jay stepped back into the room, casually carrying a young girl with short green hair in his arms. She was unconscious, wearing a Schicksal medical gown.

"Meet Wendy, the Herrscher of Wind candidate," Jay announced as Tesla and Einstein's jaws dropped.

"Schicksal was torturing her in the Oceania Branch. I raided the facility, took her, and healed her paralyzed legs. I also modified her core so she won't be corrupted by the Will of Honkai. Now, step back."

Jay erected an impenetrable spatial barrier around the room. He flooded the area with dense, pure Honkai energy, forcibly awakening the Herrscher personas within Kiana and Mei. After a brief clash that Jay effortlessly shut down with a snap of his fingers, he completely partitioned the Herrscher souls from their human hosts, setting the stage for their ultimate training.

"Alright," Jay declared, expanding a massive, swirling spatial gate in the center of the room. "We are going into my Time Dilation Dimension. One year inside is exactly one day out here. Let's get to work."

Jay had seamlessly created a massive, isolated pocket dimension. Inside this hyperbolic time chamber, one year of intense training would pass, while only a few days would elapse in the real world.

Welt walked up to Bronya. "Bronya, I am prepared to pass the Core of Reason to you."

"There is no need for that, Welt. Keep your core," Jay interrupted, stepping between them.

Jay raised his hand and snapped his fingers. A brilliant, multifaceted blue gemstone materialized out of thin air, pulsing with immense, pure data and energy.

"I created a new Core of Reason from scratch," Jay explained as he gently pushed the core into Bronya's chest.

"Unlike standard cores, this one does not connect to the Cocoon of Finality. It connects to me. I am acting as the server, and Bronya is the client. This means zero Honkai corruption, and the energy output is perfectly scaled to her capacity. Furthermore, I've heavily upscaled its absolute limits."

Bronya's eyes widened as she felt an ocean of safe, limitless computational power flood her mind. Jay had already set specific milestones within the core; Bronya would unlock her "Truth" mode only when her understanding reached those peaks.

Jay then walked over to Seele. He opened his palm, revealing a stunning, intricately designed butterfly hairpin.

"This is a dimensional anchor, Seele," Jay said softly, clipping it into her dark indigo hair. "It's completely indestructible and bound to your soul. If you ever need to enter the Sea of Quanta for your training, this device will allow you to return to the real world instantly, whenever you want. You and Veliona can train your Scythe arts and your quantum phasing safely."

Seele touched the hairpin, a bright, grateful smile blooming on her face. "Thank you, Jay-san!"

"Okay now we begin our taining!"

Fast forward

The first issue I tackled was the ticking time bomb inside Kiana. Using my Authority over the Soul, I completely separated Sirin's soul from Kiana's, fabricating a flawless, brand-new physical body for the Herrscher of the Void. At first, Sirin was furious and hostile. But her anger didn't last long.

Why would she want to destroy humanity when I simply reached into the afterlife and brought back the only things she ever cared about?

I resurrected her mother, Serena—a gentle, shy woman whose maternal warmth immediately brought the 'terrifying' Queen of the Void to her knees in tears. For good measure, I also resurrected Bella, giving the dragon a beautiful human form. Reunited with her true family, Sirin completely lost her desire for revenge. She happily retired her title, choosing to simply live as a normal girl alongside Serena and Bella.

Kiana with her inner turmoil finally resolved, Kiana accepted her identity as a clone, understanding the painful truth of why Siegfried had to leave her behind. But her growth didn't stop there. To ensure she had the proper mentality to bear her immense power, I used my Authority to implant pure memories from her original timeline—a first-person perspective of all the suffering, loss, and sacrifices she would have experienced in the future.

Those tragic memories tempered her mind perfectly, transforming the reckless and naive girl into an incredibly mature, resilient, and wise warrior without her having to actually suffer the world-shattering mental trauma.

Once her soul was ready, I implanted the Core of Fire and seamlessly merged it with her Core of Void. Kiana evolved completely, unlocking her absolute form: the Herrscher of Flamescion. Since her foundation was Space-Time, I took her under my personal tutelage. By the end of the year, Kiana had not only mastered her blazing greatsword but also perfectly replicated my spatial techniques: Limitless, Infinity, Red, Blue, Hollow Purple, and the absolute spatial severing techniques: Cleave and World-Cutting Slash. Well as her flame side i just make her control so precise that she can literally make earth melt. Not a metaphor. It was real deal.

Mei's progress was equally terrifying. She fully mastered her Thunder Authority. However, instead of erasing her Herrscher persona, I used the Authority of Life and Creation to build a separate body for her too. The newly incarnated Herrscher named herself 'Raiden Rei'—acting as Mei's domineering, lightning-wielding younger sister, though they often bickered like typical siblings.

A/N: I make named her Rei so when we get ti genshin arc no more confused.

Bronya... well, Bronya surprised me the most physically. A full year highly nutritious meals completely completely erased her stunted growth. She lost her childlike frame, blooming into a breathtakingly beautiful, mature young woman (now she looks like HSR Bronya). Intellectually, she surpassed Welt entirely, officially unlocking the state of the Herrscher of Truth. Welt really proud of his teaching and plan for his retirement. Ah i build welt a gundam too he was fucking happy we get along well. (Welt is mech fan so yeah)

Seele and Veliona mastered their quantum phasing flawlessly with the help of the butterfly anchor I gave them. Halfway through the year, I felt generous and casually handed Seele a newly fabricated core, elevating her to the Herrscher of Rebirth.

Wendy was a completely different beast. I didn't just teach her wind manipulation; I forced her to master Aether fluids. I pushed her limits so far past the standard universe parameters that she reached GGZ-level scaling, unlocking a world-shattering form i really proud she break her own title the disgrace of the herscher without her knowing.

And while they were training, I had some free time. So, I took a little stroll through the timeline and few more.

Using my absolute control over reality, I fooled history itself without causing a single paradox. I plucked Kallen Kaslana straight from her execution. I pulled Yae Sakura and her sister, Yae Rin, from their tragic fates, and even grabbed the Previous Era's Rin (the Herrscher of Corruption) just to round out the family.

When I sat Kallen down and explained how Otto Apocalypse had spent the last five centuries tormenting the world in her name, she was absolutely furious. But her anger turned into a mischievous grin when I suggested a prank. We planned it out: Kallen, Sakura, and the two Rins would eventually enroll in St. Freya Academy as transfer students under fake names. We were going to give the Overseer a literal heart attack, and Kallen was ecstatic to finally meet her "granddaughter," Theresa.

And just like that, the year ended.

The spatial fabric in the AE command center rippled, and the massive portal slowly opened.

Dr. Einstein, Dr. Tesla, and Siegfried Kaslana—who had rushed to the base the previous night after hearing Jay was involved—stood waiting by the console.

"They're coming out," Tesla muttered, crossing her arms. "I still can't believe they spent an entire year in there. Let's see if they actually—"

Tesla's voice died in her throat.

Jay stepped out first, looking exactly the same, his hands casually in his pockets with Elysia humming happily by his side. But the sheer volume of people walking out behind them caused Siegfried's brain to completely short-circuit.

"Wait..." Siegfried stammered, rubbing his eyes aggressively. "Six of you went in... why are there sixteen of you coming out?!"

Mei walked out, flanked by Rei. Wendy floated gracefully, radiating a terrifying pressure. Bronya stepped out, her mature, gorgeous figure completely shocking Einstein and Tesla into absolute silence. Seele followed, exuding the gentle but absolute domain of Rebirth.

..And then came Kiana.

Siegfried held his breath. His daughter wasn't wielding dual pistols or a baseball bat anymore. Kiana was floating a few inches off the ground, wearing the majestic white and orange attire of her Flamescion form, with a massive greatsword of fire and void resting on her back. A passive, invisible barrier of Infinity constantly warped the air around her, radiating the absolute authority of the void and flames.

However, it wasn't that terrifying power that made Siegfried freeze. It was the look in her eyes.

Kiana's crystal-blue eyes no longer held the naive, spoiled, and reckless nature of a teenage girl. Instead, they radiated an incredibly deep maturity, the calm and gentle wisdom of a warrior who had endured a thousand tragedies yet still chose to love the world. She exuded the aura of a true queen.

Kiana smiled softly, an understanding and mature smile that made Siegfried's heart tremble violently.

"Hi, Dad," Kiana greeted, her voice calm and full of grace. "I know everything now. You fought so hard all by yourself... It's good to see you again."

Siegfried fell to his knees, tears unconsciously welling up in his eyes as his mind completely short-circuited. "K-Kiana...? You... you've grown so mature... My God, what the hell happened in there?!"

But Siegfried's shock didn't end there. He looked past his daughter and saw a girl who looked exactly like the 2nd Herrscher, Sirin, walking hand-in-hand with a gentle woman (Serena) and a beautiful dragon-horned girl (Bella).

"S-Sirin?!" Siegfried choked, reaching for his guns purely out of PTSD, only for Sirin to hide behind her mother, sticking her tongue out at him.

And then, Siegfried's gaze landed on the last group to exit the portal. A pink-haired shrine maiden, two younger girls... and a white-haired woman wearing an archaic Schicksal uniform.

Siegfried's jaw literally unhinged. He had seen the paintings in the Kaslana family estate. He knew exactly who that was.

"K-Kallen Kaslana?!" Siegfried yelled, his soul practically leaving his body. "What the hell did you do in there, brat?!"

"Just the basics," I smirked casually, looking at the stunned scientists and the broken father.

"Well, training is over. The Honkai doesn't stand a chance, and Otto is going to need a new pair of pants very soon. Let's head back home. I'm making a feast tonight."

Without waiting for the AE members to reboot their broken brains, I snapped my fingers, instantly teleporting my entire overpowered, anomaly-filled family back to the comfort of the Nagazora mansion.

The Nagazora mansion was incredibly spacious, and tonight, it was filled with the most bizarre found-family in the multiverse.

The dining table groaned under the weight of a literal mountain of food. There were towering platters of roasted meats, massive bowls of premium seafood, endless rows of sushi, and desserts that looked like they belonged in a royal palace. Jay had gone all out, utilizing his spatial inventory to cook a feast fit for an army of Herrschers and Kaslanas.

"Mei!"

Raiden Ryoma rushed into the dining room, his tired face instantly lighting up as he saw his daughter. He pulled Mei into a tight, emotional hug. "Thank goodness you're safe..."

"I'm fine, Father," Mei smiled softly, returning the hug.

"Jay-san and everyone took great care of me."

Ryoma pulled back, wiping a tear from his eye. But as he looked to Mei's right, he completely froze.

Standing right next to Mei, leaning casually against the wall with her arms crossed, was a girl who possessed the exact same face, the exact same purple hair, but radiated a sharp, domineering aura. Her eyes glowed with a dangerous crimson light, and small, elegant oni horns rested on her head.

"W-What...?" Ryoma stammered, looking back and forth between the two. "M-Mei? Are there two of you?"

"Oh, Father, this is Rei," Mei introduced her with a slightly nervous smile. "She is... well, she is the Herrscher of Thunder's consciousness. Jay-san gave her a physical body."

Ryoma's paternal instincts completely overrode his logic. Tears of joy streamed down the CEO's face as he stepped forward, opening his arms wide. "I... I have two daughters now! Come here, Rei!"

*Smack.*

Rei effortlessly slapped Ryoma's hands away, glaring at him with absolute disdain.

"Do not touch me, mortal," Rei scoffed, her voice dripping with arrogance.

"I am a Herrscher. I merely share this face because I inhabited her body. I do not share your biological lineage, nor do I intend to play 'family' with a weak human."

"Rei!" Mei scolded, lightly smacking her twin's arm. "Be polite! He is still my father!"

Rei clicked her tongue, looking away with a slight pout, though she didn't hit Mei back.

"Hmph. Whatever, crybaby. Tell him to keep his distance."

Ryoma simply stood there, entirely unfazed by the rejection. In fact, he looked even happier, wiping his tears with a proud smile.

"Ah, she's going through a rebellious phase! Don't worry, Mei, I will win my second daughter's heart eventually!"

Across the room, Seele and 'Seele' or what fans often called Veliona (who also had her own physical body now) watched the interaction. It's like they see a mirror of their action.

The feast was in full swing. The Kaslana appetite was a terrifying thing to witness; Kiana, Siegfried, and Kallen were practically inhaling the food, competing to see who could clear the most plates. Einstein and Tesla were arguing over a piece of perfectly roasted duck, while Welt sat quietly, sipping wine and observing the chaotic, happy scene with a soft smile.

Jay sat at the head of the table, Elysia happily resting her head on his shoulder as she fed him a piece of tempura.

He tapped his glass with a spoon. *Clink, clink.*

The sound was soft, but carried a spatial weight that instantly silenced the room. Everyone turned their attention to Jay.

"Since we have everyone gathered here, and the air is relatively clear," Jay started, his crystal-blue eyes locking onto Siegfried and Kallen. "I figure now is the best time to drop one last piece of information. Consider it a late graduation gift."

Siegfried swallowed hard, lowering his fork. After the sheer absurdity of the past twenty-four hours, he was terrified of what Jay was going to say next.

"Siegfried," Jay said, his tone turning serious. "The original Kiana. Your biological daughter."

Siegfried flinched, his eyes darkening with deeply buried grief. Kiana (K-423) also paused, looking at her father with a soft, understanding gaze.

"She didn't die in the snow that day," Jay revealed, dropping the absolute bombshell into the quiet room.

"She survived the crash. But she suffered severe amnesia."

The color completely drained from Siegfried's face. He stood up so fast his chair crashed to the floor.

"Then where is she?!"

"Because Otto Apocalypse got to her first," Jay answered lightly.

"He found her in the snow, wiped away whatever was left of her past, and completely manipulated her entire life. He gave her a new name and trained her to become Schicksal's ultimate weapon. Right now, your biological daughter is known as Bianka Ataegina. Durandal. The strongest S-Rank Valkyrie of Schicksal."

Crack.

The heavy mahogany table splintered as Siegfried's fist slammed into it. Pure, unadulterated Kaslana rage exploded from him.

"Otto..." Siegfried growled, his voice trembling with a wrath so deep it made the room drop by ten degrees. "That son of a bitch... He took my wife, he forced me to abandon my clone daughter, and he brainwashed my real daughter into becoming his loyal dog?!"

Beside him, Kallen Kaslana slowly stood up. However, unlike Siegfried's explosive rage, Kallen's reaction was entirely different. Her hands were trembling, and her bright blue eyes were filled with a complex, agonizing storm of deep sorrow and suffocating guilt.

"Otto..." Kallen whispered, her voice cracking slightly. She gripped the edge of the table, her knuckles turning white. "He's doing all of this... manipulating my own descendants, destroying innocent lives, playing god... and it's all because of his twisted obsession with me. He just wants to bring me back."

A tear slipped down the former saint's cheek, landing heavily on the wooden table. "It's my fault. If I had just stopped him back then... He has truly lost his mind."

The atmosphere in the room had shifted from a joyous celebration to a heavy, mournful silence. Siegfried reached for the Judgment of Shamash, his grief fueling a desperate urge to march all the way to Schicksal HQ right this second.

"Whoa, whoa. Sit down, both of you," Jay pressed with light pressure.

The sheer pressure forced Siegfried to freeze in his tracks, gently snapping Kallen out of her spiral of guilt.

"Kallen, none of Otto's sins are your fault. You died standing for what was right; his madness is his own choice," Jay said firmly, his gaze softening before he looked over at the furious father. "And Siegfried, I didn't tell you this so you could go on a suicidal rampage tonight. First of all, you don't need to worry about Bianka's well-being. Ironically, Otto treats her incredibly well."

Siegfried blinked, his anger faltering for a second. "What?"

"He hasn't tortured her. In fact, he genuinely considers her his prized student," Jay explained calmly. "He has raised her with the utmost care, and give the best resources the world has to offer. He needs her to be at her absolute strongest for his grand plan."

Jay leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands, his crystal-blue eyes gleaming with the omniscient knowledge of the timeline.

"Because his ultimate script... the very culmination of his five-hundred-year-old obsession... requires both Kiana and Bianka to be the ones to fight him at the very end."

Everyone at the table held their breath.

Jay said, looking directly into the former saint's wide, trembling eyes. "His plan is to reach the Imaginary Tree and completely rewrite reality. He intends to create a new branch on the Tree—a new timeline where you survive your execution and live a full, happy life. And the price he is fully prepared to pay for that miracle..."

Jay paused, letting the heavy truth sink in.

"...Is the complete and absolute erasure of his own existence. He wants Kiana and Bianka to fight him so that he can force open the path to the Imaginary Tree and give you your future."

Kallen froze completely. The breath hitched in her throat, her tears stopping as the sheer, overwhelming magnitude of Otto's tragic, twisted devotion washed over her. He had become the world's greatest monster, all just to erase himself so she could live.

"If you charge in blindly now, Siegfried, you'll just be crossing blades with your own amnesiac daughter," Jay sighed, waving his hand to repair the cracked wooden table. "We have the strength, we have the time, and we have the element of absolute surprise. We will tear his script apart our own way, and we will get your daughter back without playing into his suicidal hands. But not tonight."

Jay raised his glass of wine, looking around the table at the stunned but slowly relaxing faces of the Herrschers, the scientists, and his fiancée.

"Tonight is about the people in this room," Jay declared warmly. "We survived. We grew stronger. And we finally have a moment of peace. So sit down, drink your wine, and eat the damn food. The world-saving can wait until tomorrow."

The heavy tension finally shattered, replaced by a wave of exhausted but relieved sighs. Siegfried wiped his eyes, nodding gratefully at Jay before holstering his guns and picking his chair back up. Kallen took a deep, trembling breath, slowly sitting down as a small, determined smile returned to her face. She now knew exactly what she had to do.

"Hear, hear!" Tesla cheered, raising her glass high to break the ice.

"To the Alliance!" Welt smiled.

"To our Boss!" Kiana yelled happily.

Under the bright lights of the mansion, surrounded by the strongest beings in the multiverse, the feast resumed with twice the energy, ending the longest day of their lives on a perfect, joyous note.

A/N: i really just speed run things. Cause i think you guys don' know Honkai Impact 3rd too much so i speed run this aftwr this go back to his world and bam new problem everyday.
