Chapter 373 - Chapter 373: Alex's Plan

Rewind to a bit earlier, when Ahriman was at the edge of the cavern, intently preparing the Dimensional Annihilation spell.

In his apartment in the real world, Twilight logged out of the 40k World and informed him of what had happened in the Hive City of the Star Sector Capital.

"Damn it, I knew something would happen today," he cursed under his breath, quickly walking towards his study.

On the desk, an exquisite Supreme Wizard chess piece glowed with a faint blue light.

Alex had indeed anticipated a major operation today.

Therefore, he had deliberately avoided projecting his consciousness into the 40k World all day, just to maintain his ability to respond to emergencies in time.

Now, this decision proved to be wise.

Alex instantly established a psychic connection with the battlefield through the Ahriman chess piece already deployed in the war chest.

Through the Wizard's eyes, he clearly saw the tragic scene inside the Bottom Nest cavern: Tzanazte's twisted demonic body was completing its final transformation, the bodies of the Sisters of Battle lay haphazardly in pools of blood, and the few remaining Sisters were still resisting stubbornly.

Ahriman's Dimensional Annihilation spell had reached a critical moment, but still needed more time to complete the final rune construction.

"The situation is worse than I imagined…" Alex frowned, quickly dropping the Supreme Wizard chess piece, which glowed with a faint blue light, into the war chest.

The chess piece landed precisely on a rock next to Ahriman, but Alex did not intervene immediately.

He cautiously maintained an observer's stance, gathering more battlefield intelligence through the chess piece.

Only when he had a complete grasp of the situation did Alex's consciousness officially project into the 40k World.

Controlling the Supreme Wizard chess piece, he conveyed instructions to Ahriman through subtle psychic fluctuations.

A hint of surprise flashed in the Red Demon Wizard's eyes, but he quickly understood, deliberately adjusting the spell's trajectory during the final casting moment.

The dimensional rift, which would have been enough to completely annihilate Tzanazte, shifted slightly, only engulfing half of the Daemon Prince's body.

"Twilight, listen," Alex contacted Twilight, who was fighting in the Upperhive, via psychic communication: "I need you and Mai Mai to immediately gather all available forces. When you see the blue beacon, do not hesitate, charge straight in."

His voice was calm and firm, as if he had foreseen everything.

After explaining the plan, Alex focused all his attention on the Supreme Wizard chess piece.

When the time was right, he and Ahriman simultaneously raised their staves, and two psychic beams converged in the air, forming a dazzling teleportation beacon.

The blue and white light illuminated the entire cavern, opening a passage to the Bottom Nest battlefield for the reinforcements led by Twilight and Mai Mai.

They brought not only another Inquisitor Craig and reinforcements, but also a presence that Alex had anticipated, but was unexpected by others.

Another Daemon Prince, Muswag.

Just as Alex had already discerned through prophecy, the Daemon Prince Muswag's entire obsession was focused on the goal of destroying Tzanazte.

This fallen one, cursed by Khorne, constantly yearned to reclaim his fragmented power and return to the Blood God's demonic realm.

When he sensed signs of his arch-enemy preparing for reincarnation, he began to weave his web of conspiracy in the shadows.

Initially, Muswag set his sights on the Inquisition.

He cleverly used psychic whispers to implant suggestions in the dreams of Inquisitor Craig and his mentor. Those so-called "brilliant ideas" about "sealing the Daemon Prince after he completes his reincarnation" actually originated from this Daemon Prince's covert guidance.

However, tragically, the Blood God's curse bound him like shackles—any direct act of killing mortals would lead to his failure and prevent his return to Khorne's demonic realm.

Coupled with his innate contempt for humans, Muswag was always unwilling to cooperate openly, instead manipulating these self-proclaimed intelligent Inquisitors as pathetic chess pieces.

But when Tzanazte truly completed his reincarnation ritual today, the situation took a sharp turn for the worse.

Muswag realized that relying solely on the Inquisitors he had fooled was no longer enough to turn the tide of battle.

Left with no choice, this arrogant Daemon Prince finally decided to enter the fray himself.

In the smoke of the Upperhive, his gaze locked onto Mai Mai and Twilight's group, who were clearing out The Unseen Brotherhood—these battle-hardened warriors became his only and last choice.

"Mortals…" Muswag's voice, like the scraping of a rusted blade, suddenly echoed in Twilight's mind: "The power and victory you desire, I can bestow them all." The Daemon Prince's figure flickered in and out of sight amidst the burning ruins, transforming into a Mysterious Man clad in a black robe: "Ally with me, and you shall gain the glory of demon-slaying, and I… only Tzanazte's head."

Twilight, who had already received Alex's arrangements, responded to Muswag, agreeing to cooperate with him and telling him that she needed to contact Alex.

So, when others teleported from the Upperhive into the battlefield, Muswag also sought out the Supreme Wizard controlled by Alex, stating his intentions and proposing cooperation.

Alex, who already knew about this, immediately agreed to the cooperation; everything was proceeding according to prophecy and his plan.

However, he did not intend to simply help Muswag. In his negotiations with him, Alex demanded that Muswag and Tzanazte be teleported to another planet.

And the target he had chosen was the Helson III planet, that ice-bound Ork battle moon, which had already collided with the Necrons throne world, Kiev Star.

When Alex smashed this planet into the Necrons throne world, he considered that he might need to destroy this planet and Kiev later, so he buried a chess piece that could serve as a coordinate on the planet, a servitor skull chess piece.

It was directly frozen in the ice, and even all its functions were shut down, serving only as a teleportation coordinate, so as not to be discovered by the Orks.

Originally, this coordinate was intended by Alex to be used as a coordinate for inserting a decapitation force when he planned to attack these two colliding planets in the future, but now, it obviously served a more important purpose.

"Listen, Muswag, let's make a deal. I'll help you kill your arch-enemy, but I don't want you and him to settle your score on this planet, because the one who wins will inevitably become our enemy." Alex directly spoke Muswag's name, and although it wasn't his true name, it still had a deterrent effect on Muswag: "So I must teleport you and Tzanazte to another planet to ensure that you won't immediately turn against us after killing Tzanazte.

Don't bargain with me. I know you cannot directly or indirectly kill any mortal. If you bargain with me, I will directly kill people, causing you to fail completely."

Facing the conditions proposed by Alex, although Muswag was very displeased at being threatened, he still chose to compromise and agreed to Alex's demands.
