(External POV)
Well above the dungeon.
High above the island.
Far from the shouting.
Far from blood.
A comfortable and carefree side of life continued to exist.
A world suspended above the players.
A world where suffering was merely a spectacle.
The glass walls stretched as far as the eye could see, and wealth was a platter for fruit.
Waterfalls cascaded down the facades like silver ribbons.
And behind those windows...
Our dear owners were watching.
As always for many generations.
But strangely, today, in one of the private boxes, one of the highest, a woman remained seated in front of her screen.
His face was calm.
Her fingers rested against the armrest of her chair.
And on his screen.
Ki-Moon.
She smiled, or at least that's what it seemed.
She was like a mother looking at her child with pride, a child she hadn't seen for a long time.
– It is more resistant than expected.
– I doubted for nothing
Her voice was almost tender.
Behind her, a man looked up from his glass.
He wore luxurious clothes.
An entire fortune could probably be hidden in the fabrics he wore.
How much gold did not cover it, but even with all that brilliance it could not hide the rottenness beneath.
Handsome, you could say he has everything going for him, he seems to have stopped in time despite the decades, he hasn't changed either mentally or physically, he's a man you could call "poultry".
Yet...
Facing this woman.
He seemed involved, tiny.
– You continue to keep an eye on him.
Was that a question?
Maybe.
But she did not answer.
His gaze remained fixed on the screen.
Ki-Moon.
Still Ki-Moon.
Always him.
The man sighed.
– I still don't understand your obsession.
– You are very contradictory.
This time she smiled.
A smile that's hard to read.
– You don't need to understand, I'll tell you everything later.
The man immediately lowered his eyes,
As if he were used to it.
As if he already knew he had lost this conversation before it had even started.
Silence fell.
Then he resumed.
More cautiously, as if to soften the atmosphere.
– Are you sure our daughter will do?
Once again,
She didn't look at him.
– This is just a backup plan.
The man frowned.
– if you say so.
She finally turned her head.
His eyes were cold.
Terribly cold.
– I already told you not to ask unnecessary questions.
– you're tiring yourself out too much
The man froze immediately.
She stood up.
Her dress slipped against the white floor.
She moved closer to her "husband" and kissed him on the forehead.
– enjoy the game.
Her voice was gentle.
But the order was absolute.
The man inclined his head slightly.
- GOOD.
She didn't wait any longer.
She headed towards the exit.
The doors opened before her.
Silently.
Then they closed behind her.
Leaving her husband alone in front of the screens.
Alone.
As always, she didn't care much about his opinion.
The exterior corridor was immense.
Marble columns pierced the ceiling.
Thousands of lights recreated a fake starry sky.
"The Revolutionary" advanced without slowing down.
The other small landowners naturally moved aside as he passed.
Everything was driven by fear.
Then this man appeared before her.
Tall, with empty eyes, his black hair, smooth as silk, slid over his shoulder from left to right.
He was far too big to be human.
Her pupils seemed to reflect entire constellations.
But such a beautiful thing was only a minor god.
One of the few landlords she still agreed to speak to.
– You're retarded.
"The Revolutionary" continued walking and passed him.
- I know.
He accompanied her immediately.
– So your candidate is back.
- Yes.
– I had found you another one. But oh well, I'm going to throw it away.
The god observed the woman's gaze for a moment.
Then his gaze shifted away.
"Literally heartless," he murmured.
The revolutionary woman let out a slight sigh.
Disappointed.
– I don't appreciate your sense of humor
- I know.
They continued to advance.
Their footsteps echoed in the immense gallery.
– Do you really think he owns any?
the god finally asked.
This time.
The Revolutionary stopped.
His eyes lifted towards the immense seats.
Very far away.
Almost invisible, which were above them.
Then she answered.
- Yes.
The god looked at her for quite a while.
– is the expert
A smile appeared on his face.
Strangely sad.
– If it were impossible, I would have stopped already.
Silence fell between them once more.
The god crossed his arms.
– it won't last forever
She gazed into the distance as if she could see the darkness of the dungeon.
– So we will continue to search.
- Maybe.
