Detective Day charged forward and hurled all twenty of his scythes at the Star Monster.
The Star Monster swiftly dodged the attack and shouted,
"Power of the Axe... Stars Guiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"
Stars Guiiiiiiiiiiiiiii was a technique that struck so quickly that, before the opponent could even realize it, they had already been cut.
Reacting instantly, Detective Day raised all twenty scythes in front of himself.
The attack struck only the scythes.
With one tremendous blow, all twenty scythes shattered into pieces.
The Star Monster laughed.
"This is the end for you, you foolish detective."
Detective Day smiled.
"Not yet. I still have another weapon."
"Come forth from the Sacred Chest... the Forty Invisible Scythes!"
Since the scythes were invisible, the Star Monster could not see them.
However, he possessed a special ability capable of canceling any invisible attack.
Detective Day laughed.
"Ha, ha! Now it's your end, Star Monster!"
The Star Monster answered,
"Ha, ha! You don't know about one of my abilities either."
"Stars Lopiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"
"This technique cancels every invisible attack you throw at me."
God watched in amazement.
"An incredible power..."
Detective Day rushed forward with his invisible scythes, aiming to slice the Star Monster's neck.
But the Star Monster's technique instantly canceled the attack.
The Star Monster immediately charged, swinging his axe toward Detective Day's head.
At the last second, Detective Day dodged.
Then Detective Day unleashed his ultimate technique.
"Visible Ivibri Scythe!"
This technique created an invisible scythe that moved so quickly it could not be canceled.
Detective Day launched the attack at the Star Monster.
At the exact same moment, the Star Monster threw his axe at Detective Day with incredible speed.
Their attacks landed simultaneously.
For a brief moment, both fighters remained standing.
Then the Star Monster smiled.
"So... it seems we both landed our attacks."
Detective Day nodded.
"Yeah... and you were strong, Star Monster. You had incredible abilities. When you showed me the power that could cancel invisible attacks... I was truly impressed. You fought well."
The Star Monster smiled back.
"You were strong too. Using invisible scythes to defeat me... that was impressive."
He looked toward the Monsters' side of the arena.
"My fellow Monsters... this is where I leave you."
"Thank you for always supporting me."
"I was always your star... your good fortune."
"Thank you for welcoming me into your world."
"I only wanted to help all of you become stronger."
Moments later...
Both warriors fell.
The Star Monster and Detective Day died together.
The Leader of the Monsters began to cry with emotion.
"I... I never imagined this battle would be so emotional."
"The Star Monster was always our greatest monster."
God looked at the arena and quietly announced,
"And so, this match ends in a draw."
Score: 10 points for the Detectives, 9 points for the Monsters.
