What an interesting turn of events we have here, but also very sad. :(
Just a small sneak peek of one of her powers, that she will unlock in the future.
We get some fluff, but also angst. :(
The boys are already betting. XD
Nalia will still be wearing her red scarf.

*At the Destiny's Bounty, the ninjas are training Lloyd and Nalia.*
"Your new body is a fighting instrument. Listen to it." said Wu.
"How did I get mixed into being the one trained here and not the other way around." Nalia thought, shaking her head.
The session begins with everyone attacking Lloyd and Nalia, and they dodge each other, all while their eyes are closed. But when Lloyd dodges Zane's shurikens, they hit the watermelon Nya is carrying in. She shoots a glare at Zane, who gasps.
Nalia listened closely with her eyes closed, and without knowing it, her body started glowing a faint golden color. She felt a change in the air as she quickly dodged an attack from Cole, which was soon followed by Jay, who tried knocking her off her feet, but she quickly jumped over and kicked him in the back, sending him flying into a wall.
"AAAaaah!—OWwww!" Jay screamed before hitting the wall.
"Sorry!" said Nalia.
"Since they've grown, they are learning faster, Sensei." said Nya.
"But will it be enough to challenge Lord Garmadon? Only time will tell." said Wu.
Kai draws his sword and although Lloyd blocks it, he doesn't stop the attack and falls.
"Hahaha, you're getting pretty good, but that move you fell for was basic 101." said Kai.
"Yeah, if I had focused more when I was little, I would've seen that coming." said Lloyd.
Nalia walked over to check on Jay, lying on the floor after being sent flying into a wall. "Are you alright, Jay? I hope I didn't kick you too hard."
Jay let out a painful laugh as he slowly got up. "I'm fine, I'm fine. But damn, Lia, I didn't think you would kick me this hard." He began rubbing his back.
Nalia still felt bad about kicking him; she didn't even mean to kick him that hard. "It looks like my strength has increased even after getting older; I should probably start going back to my old training in limiting the amount of power I use."
"We cannot change the past, but we can improve for the future. Again, and this time, do not hold back," said Wu, snapping Nalia out of her thoughts.
The Falcon squawks as it returns to the Bounty.
"The Falcon has returned with troubling news. What did you see, my mechanical-feathered friend?" Zane asked.
"The Lost City of Ouroboros!" said Nya.
"Garmadon has returned to the Serpentine home base, but why?" Kai questioned.
"Looks like they're preparing for a final battle." said Cole.
"Nya, change course. We'll head straight for them." said Wu.
"Well, looks like training is over for now." said Lloyd walking over to Nalia.
"Thank the old man, finally," said Nalia with a heavy sigh before letting out a fire sneeze. "Awww, come on. It's already been a few weeks and still I'm sick, last time it wasn't this fucking long." She crossed her arms, annoyed.
Lloyd couldn't help but chuckle at her annoyance. "That's how it is sometimes when sick; you can't control how long it lasts."
Nalia rolled her eyes, though it was playfully. "Yeah, but that isn't even the worst part about this." She began poking one of her teeth and winced. "I hate I can't eat anything that needs chewing."
"Did you have too much candy?" Lloyd asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Nalia almost flinched when he touched her shoulder and slowly started blushing. "Lloyd, if anyone here eats too much candy, it would be you. The only thing I mostly eat are mangos."
Lloyd took notice of her reaction but didn't say anything about it, as he thought it might just be her skin itching again. He let out a small chuckle. "Hey, I haven't touched any candy in days now."
"Didn't look like that to me last night," said Nalia, smirking at him.
Lloyd gasped. "Were you spying on me, Lia? I would never think of you as someone who spies on people."
Nalia started laughing as she playfully pushed him away. "I didn't have to spy on you, with how loud you were about it."
"Oh, that's it!" said Lloyd, and started chasing Nalia around on the Bounty as she was screaming for help.
"Looks like those two are having fun." said Zane.
"Yeah, ever since they grew up from the tea, they've seen more playful with each other," said Jay.
"20 bucks, they get together after we stop Garmadon for good," said Cole.
"I bet they'll get together in a week," said Kai.
"If we are betting on when they are getting together, I'll bet at least four days," said Jay.
"From what I've observed by those two, I'll say a month and a half," said Zane.
"Why a month and a half, Zane?" Jay asked.
"Lia is very conflicted with her feelings since she's still trying to figure them out, and Lloyd isn't sure if she likes him the way he does with her," Zane explained.
"Dude, my sister spent 5 hours talking about love stuff with Nalia and had to repeat everything 50 times until she somehow got it. Yet she is still having trouble with it," said Kai.
"Can't blame her; Nalia lived under a rock most of her life. So, of course, she isn't used to the feeling of having a crush or being in love," said Cole.
"Now that you mention it, I've noticed Lia acting shy around Lloyd. I mean, she doesn't even try holding hands with him anymore, like when they were little," said Jay.
Lloyd soon caught Nalia, and she began laughing out loud as he were tickling her.
"Lloyd s-stop *laughs* p-please I'm s-sorry," said Nalia through laughter while trying to break free.
"I don't think I heard that. Could you repeat that, Lia?" Lloyd asked with a smirk as he kept tickling her and wasn't letting her escape.
"I'm s-sorry! I'm sorry! Lloyd, please *laughs* before I *sneeze*." Nalia laughed through it until she let out another fire sneeze.
Lloyd chuckles as he finally stops tickling her but still holds her close. "See, that wasn't that hard."
Nalia rolled her eyes before elbowing him in the guts, causing him to let go of her. "You're such a jerk."
"I didn't think you would elbow me; last I checked, you didn't like hurting others," said Lloyd.
Nalia looked over at him, now feeling bad about it. "Did I hit you too hard?" She asked, worried she might have used too much strength without meaning to.
Lloyd rubbed where she had hit him, but it wasn't hurting that much. "No, no, you didn't hit me that hard. If you did, I'm sure I'll have fallen over." He smiled at her.
Nalia returned with a soft smile but still felt terrible about it. "I'm going to head inside, " she said, starting to leave the upper deck.
"Lia, wait," said Lloyd, quickly grabbing her hand and causing her to blush.
"W-what is it?" Nalia asked, slowly looking over her shoulder.
Lloyd looked like he wanted to tell her something but decided to change it at the last minute. "Whatever happens when we confront my father, please do be careful. You're still sick, and I don't want you getting worse."
Nalia gave him a small smile as she pulled back her hand. "Thanks for the concern, greenie; if anything happens, I'll let you know." She said before walking back inside the Bounty and over to the training room so she could do some personal training by limiting her strength when fighting.
Lloyd watched her leave and let out a small sigh as he looked down at his now empty hand. "Why did I have to say that? It wasn't even the thing I wanted to tell her."
*Later, they suit up and get there at night.*
"More firepower! When we attack the ninja, they won't see it coming. Our forces will be so strong, Ninjago will be mine!" said Garmadon as Fang-Suei uses a blowtorch on his Mega Weapon, making him pull it away. "Aargh!"
"Ninja, go!" shouted Wu.
"Oh, brother!" said Garmadon.
"It's time we finished this." said Wu.
"Ugh!" shouted the ninjas.
"Bring it on, fools!" shouted Garmadon.
Lloyd jumps in and freezes his Mega Weapon while Nalia holds her staff, ready to strike.
"Aargh! Lloyd? Is that you? And Nalia?" Garmadon aske surprised.
"Yeah. we've grown a little since the last time you saw us, Dad." said Lloyd.
"Stop him!" Garmadon runs away into a chamber and breaks the ice. "Blast these ninjas! If only they weren't around. If only they never existed! Ugh! Yes. Yes, that's it! I wish I could go back in time, and make it so the ninjas were never formed in the first place!" The weapon makes a time portal. "Now, to finish the ninjas once and for all, so that my son never becomes the Green Ninja!" He jumps in, but doesn't see the ninjas entering the chamber.
"He used the Mega Weapon again!" said Cole.
"Oh, swell. Every time he uses that thing, something really bad happens. Now what?" said Jay.
*The ground starts to rumble and turn into sand.*
Nalia quickly tried forming solid sand for the others to stand on, giving them more time.
"What's going on?" Kai asked.
"Is the city sinking?" Jay asked.
"Worse. The city's returning back into the desert, as if it had never been found in the first place." said Zane.
"Uh, what? What does that mean?" Kai asked.
"What's happening?" Nya asked.
"Garmadon's gone back in time to make it so Lloyd never turns into the Green Ninja." said Zane.
"I can't... I can't feel my hands," said Lloyd.
Nalia looked over at him, and her eyes widened when she noticed his elemental aura slowly fading. "No..... he can't be."
"Uh. Ugh. We have to go in!" said Kai.
Nalia turned her attention back to the others and then the portal.
"If he changes anything, he changes everything! Protect the future, ninjas!" said Wu.
*The ninjas and Nalia jumped into the portal, but doing so caused Nalia to separate from the others.*
Nalia landed in a forest as she fell into a bush. "What the-where am I?" She got out of the bush and looked around. "Wait, I remember this forest."
She soon heard movement and quickly pulled over her hood as she hid behind some trees and watched closely.
"Why did it get all quiet? The wind was just... oh, no." Nalia's eyes widened, and she quickly turned around as she used her staff to block a sidekick coming her way.
"You have a better reaction than I thought." The stranger stood before her as the clouds cleared away from the moon, and the stranger could now be seen in the light.
"...Morro." Nalia felt tears forming in her eyes; she had missed seeing him for so long since his death. She then noticed the two bags not so far away next to a tree. "No..... this is the night he comes home, but also the same night I'm gonna lose him."
"I see you know my name; who are you, stranger? If you're here to get in my way, you have another thing coming," said Morro, getting in position.
"That stance..... I never thought about it, but it's almost the same way Sensei Wu taught us." Nalia thought to herself, holding her staff close, though she didn't want to fight her brother.
Morro wasn't giving her any chance this time, as he went for the attack, going for where all the weak points were, while Nalia did her best to block his attacks with her staff.
"N-no! Wait! I don't wanna fight!" Nalia panicked through the fight, as Morro soon enough landed a hit on her knee and then punched her in the guts before grabbing her by the throat or trying to, but her red scarf blocked it.
"Morro, please!" cried Nalia as she landed a solid hit on his left foot, knocking him over while she fell to the ground. "Please, I don't wanna fight you; I can't fight you, Momo. Please, no more." Tears were running down her face under her hood.
Morro winced in pain from, getting hit on his left foot, but turned his attention back to the stranger in front of him as they used the nickname his little sister always called him.
"How do you know that name? Who are you?" Morro narrowed his eyes at the stranger wearing a yellow ninja gi before noticing the red scarf they were wearing.
Nalia slowly looked at him, her hood still covering her face, but he could only see her golden eyes in tears. "Momo, Momo, please."
"Lia? Is that you?" Morro questioned, but he wasn't completely sure since the last time he checked, she was only eight years old.
Nalia didn't even think twice about it as she jumped right at him and wrapped her arms around him, crying into his chest. "I never thought I'd see you again, Morro!"
Morro was surprised by this and didn't know what to do for a moment before slowly removing the hood so they could better see her face. "Lia, what happened to you? When did you get this big?"
Nalia didn't answer him as she just kept crying into his chest, not wanting to let go of him since she was scared of losing him again.
Morro let out a small sigh, knowing he wouldn't get an answer while she was like this. So he wrapped his arms around her and began patting her head. "I'm here, sis; everything is gonna be okay."
He used the wind to bring his bags over to them, and he then grabbed a mango and held it out to her. "Try and eat this; I know you love mangos."
Nalia sniffled as she took the mango and used a stone to peel off the skin.
"Huh? When did you start eating it without the skin on?" Morro asked.
".....A while ago." said Nalia before eating the now-peeled mango.
"So, you gonna explain how you are now older?" Morro asked.
Nalia thought about what she was gonna tell him. "I wanna tell him, but I don't want him getting mixed up." She took another bite of her mango.
"I see you've even stopped wearing those glasses." He then added.
"Strange tea." said Nalia.
Morro gave her a confused look as he raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"I stopped wearing glasses when I had to use them as a lockpick to get out of a cage," Nalia explained.
"How did you end up in a cage? Who put you in a cage? Which motherfucker do I need to kill?!" Morro questioned as his temper increased and began shaking her for an answer. "I'm gonna kill that bastard who dared to put my sister in a cage!"
Nalia giggled at seeing this; she missed his protective side even though his anger scared her a little. "You don't have to worry about that big brother. He is already dead, or I at least hope so."
Morro heaved a sigh from hearing that, relieved she was safe. "Good, because if I ever saw the fucker who did it, I'll end him on the spot."
A small smile grew on Nalia's face until she let out a fire sneeze. "Shit, not again."
"Since when did you sneeze fire?" Morro asked.
"It's complicated." Nalia looked up at the sky. "I need to get back to the others." She slowly got out of the hug as she tried standing up. But she stumbled a bit as her knee was still hurting.
"Looks like I hit you pretty hard there, sis," said Morro, helping her stand, but he had to ignore the pain still coming from his left foot. "That reminds me, where did you learn to fight like that?"
"Not telling," said Nalia, sticking out her tongue only to then get bonked in the head. "Ow!"
"Don't try being sneaky with me, Lia." said Morro.
"Jerk." said Nalia rolling her eyes.
"I love you too, sis," said Morro as he ruffled her hair.
A soft laugh came from Nalia as she tried pushing him away until she remembered the time. "You should get back home, Morro. Mini Me is still waiting for you to return."
"Mini you? How do you know that? Unless?" Morro began thinking and soon enough got it. "You traveled back in time."
Nalia rubbed the back of her neck. "Yeah, I was meant to be somewhere else, but somehow I ended up here."
"Why?" Morro asked.
Nalia bites her lower lip, thinking hard about her answer. "To save a friend, I didn't wanna lose him." A slight blush started growing on her face.
Morro narrowed his eyes at her when he noticed the blush. "No way, you can forget about saving him."
"What!?" Nalia quickly looked at him in shock. "I can't do that, he's important!"
Morro rolled his eyes. "Doesn't matter, I'm not letting you waste your time on some guy."
"You can't say that! You don't even know him like I do!" shouted Nalia.
"I don't need to know him, because I'm not letting any guy near you and that's it." said Morro.
Nalia narrowed her eyes at him. "You're my brother, not my parent. So you can't tell me who I can hang out with."
"Doesn't matter, I'm not letting you date anyone until you're at least 30 years old," said Morro.
"I-Wait what?" Nalia now looked at him very confused. "But we are just friends."
"Didn't look like that to me." said Morro raising an eyebrow at her.
Nalia pouted, crossing her arms at this while slowly blushing. "Just go back to mini me already."
Morro let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head, before picking up his bags. "Okay, but we aren't done talking about this, little star."
Nalia rolled her eyes but had a slight smile on her face. "I've missed him... but can I save him? Would saving him be a good idea?"
*Jumping to the Cave of Despair.*
Nalia had followed Morro and her past self into the cave, hiding behind rocks so they wouldn't see her.
"AAArgh!!! Another fucking blind spot!" Morro yelled in rage as he used the wind to throw around rocks.
"Still scary." Nalia thought to herself, as even now, she found it scary.
Soon enough, the sound of something exploding was heard. "Oh, fuck."
"Oh, fuck!" shouted Morro when he heard the explosion and began running, only to then see Past Nalia coming out from her hiding spot. "Lia! What the hell are you doing here!?" He shouted.
Past Nalia jumped at Morro's shouting as the explosion worsened and turned to see him running at her. "W-well, I... you see, I wanted to be with you so bad, but you said no, so I decided to follow," she said, getting a little nervous with teary eyes.
"I kind of see why he called me a crybaby all the time now." Nalia thought to herself, using sand to protect herself from explosions and falling rocks.
"We will talk about this later! We need to get out of here quickly!" shouted Morro, grabbing her hand and dragging her behind him as they ran, trying to get out in time.
As if time was set to slow-motion, Nalia watched the whole scene play out again in front of her, without knowing it, as she screamed out his name. "MORRO!" She started glowing as everything else around her froze in place, and the colors around them became muted.
"W-what happened?" Nalia slowly emerged from where she was hiding and walked towards Morro, who was only a second from being crushed by the rock. While getting closer, she hadn't even noticed the glowing symbols on her left arm.
"Brother, I can't see you die like this again." Tears began running down her face as she wrapped her arms around him, even if he couldn't see or hear her at that moment. "But I can't lose my friend too; Lloyd is the first friend I ever made around my age. Losing him is just like losing you again."
She looked down at Morro's left foot and noticed the bandages every so slightly. "This might be our final goodbye; if so, I want you to hear a final song at least."
Nalia took a few steps away from him, taking a deep breath as she started singing.
(the song she is singing.)
(link to song)
"The name that I called out to in times I needed hope
Your voice and the words you spoke with that gentle tone
So that I'm not all alone, in loneliness I close
My eyes and I will dream of you
Those hands and the memories we hold
I promise I'll never forget
Far beyond the night sky, full of flowers so bright
When it's time, I know that I'll return back to your side
Cutting through the surges, lighting up the darkness
Please stay inside my dreams, remaining pure
As I walk this blue path forevermore.~"
The golden glow surrounding Nalia increased as she sang, and without her knowing, Morro slowly began moving his eyes as he watched her and, soon enough, listened to her song.
"We watch as they scatter, while we stay and wave goodbye
But wounds still will hide behind each day's rippling tide
They open up every time I see you in my mind
But I'll embrace the pain inside
'Cause under the guide of that light
I know that I won't lose my way
Far beyond this lifetime, full of flowers so bright
I know they'll invite you when it's time we say goodbye
And these prayers of mine, I will cast to the sky
May they be the truest words my heart could find.~"
Nalia danced around as she sang, and small stars danced with her, while one of the symbols on her left arm turned to dust. However, the spell wasn't broken.
Morro watched in surprise at how beautiful her voice had become when singing; it was more beautiful than he had ever heard of her singing.
"A song that flows for all of time
Bestowed by the wind, it chimes
To those who will go ahead, may your new road shine bright
And through all the tears we shed, we'll meet the morning light
To the voice that calls out for us
Far beyond the night sky, full of flowers so bright
When it's time, I know we'll all return back to your side
Cutting through the surges, lighting up the darkness
Please stay inside my dreams, remaining pure
As I walk this blue path forevermore.~"
Nalia finished the song by walking over and giving him one last hug. "You'll always be my hero, Morro, whether you're the green ninja or not." She whispered, with tears running down her face.
"L-Lia." Morro spoke ever so softly.
She gave him a soft smile. "Goodbye, big brother." She said, and soon enough time returned to normal, with a bright light of Nalia disappearing.
*With the ninjas.*
"Time to play our parts." Cole hands them Skeleton masks.
"We'll have to act quickly while Kai is keeping himself busy." said Zane.
"Wait, what's that?" Jay asked, pointing to what looked like a shooting star, which turned out to be Nalia, as she landed on the roof.
"Nalia!?"
"Oww, where am I now?" Nalia looked around until she noticed the others. "I found you guys!" She quickly pulled them into a hug. "Wait, why are you guys wearing masks?"
"We don't have time to explain; here, quickly put this on and follow our lead," said Cole, giving her a Skeleton mask too.
"Umm, okay?" said Nalia before putting on the mask.
"Where did you even go, Lia? When we came here, we couldn't see you anywhere." Jay questioned.
"And why were you crying? Was it because you couldn't find us?" Zane asked.
".....Let's just focus on the mission and saving Lloyd," said Nalia, not much in the mood to talk about anything else.
The ninjas looked at each other and became a little worried about what could have happened, but they went on to finish the mission.
*A few minutes later, they had Nya captured in a bag.*
"Unhand me, Skeletons!" shouted Past Nya inside the bag.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Nya." said Jay.
"How'd you know my name? Oh, when my brother finds out about this, you'll be sorry!" shouted Past Nya.
Nalia covered her ears when she said brother, leaving Morro still fresh.
"Actually, he'll be quite relieved." said Cole.
"Huh, guys, we've got company." said Zane, spotting their past selves.
"Oh, mangos." Nalia whispered.
"Uh, isn't that, uh, us?" Jay asked.
"Better lower our masks so they don't recognize us," said Cole as Jay fought his past self. "Let's not hurt ourselves, boys." Zane puts away his weapons. "I'd hate to leave a mark."
Nalia quickly blocked her past self's attacks as both didn't want to fight, but also because Past Nalia was scared of getting hurt again.
"Kai, help!" shouted Past Nya.
"Huh, Nya!" shouted Past Kai.
"Help!" Past Kai runs to find her.
"Hey, I wasn't done talking to you. You can't leave." said Kai.
"Why not? You're just my reflection!" Present Kai hits him hard, knocking him unconscious.
"Sorry, but I can't have you spoiling our plans." Kai goes out and helps the ninjas and Nalia.
"Oh, why does time travel have to be so complicated?" Jay complained.
"Yeah, why." said Nalia in an upset tone as she tried not to cry.
The sack that has Nya falls, but only to be caught by Present Kai. The Red Ninja then goes to the rooftop.
"Guys, uh" Kai deepens voice. "let's get out of here."
"They took Nya!" shouted Past Wu.
Past Kai soon enough woke up. "Huh? They took my sister? NOOOOOO!!!!!!"
*In the present, Lloyd's picture comes back. Wu sighs of relief.*
"We'll get your sister back. But first, I want you to meet your team." said Past Wu as the past ninjas unmask themselves.
"Looks like the fire returned." said Kai.
"All we gotta do to get everything back on track is to deliver Nya to the Skeletons." said Cole.
*The Skulkin have set up camp. Past Samukai hits Past Kruncha.*
"Hey!" shouted Past Kruncha.
"This is no time to celebrate, we didn't get the girl. How would you like to go back to the Underworld to tell Lord Garmadon that we failed?" said Past Samukai.
Past Kruncha walks away, mocking him. "How would you like to tell Lord Garmadon that we failed? Mimimimi!" Nya screams as she is being dropped. "Huh?" He checks inside the bag to see Nya struggling. "Uh, Samukai? How would you like to go back to the Underworld to tell him we succeeded?"
*Later, the Past ninjas and Past Nalia sleep while the Present ninjas, Nalia, and Past Wu watch.*
"Ugh, why are we still here? I thought everything is back on track." said Jay.
"I hate time traveling." Nalia mumbled.
"Yeah, but we have to stay and make sure all goes as planned." said Cole.
"So what exactly happens next?" Past Wu asked.
"Our former selves have most of the Golden Weapons. Shadow Garmadon now should have my sister. And in about one minute, I get woken up and tricked into taking the Sword of Fire that will eventually unleash the greatest nemesis unto Ninjago." Kai explained.
"Nya, wait up!" shouted Past Kai, with Past Nalia following close behind.
*They run to the Fire Temple.*
"Ah. This is when I steal the Fire Sword and cut my sister down. Then I get attacked by my own shadow." Kai pointed out.
*Past Nya, on a chain over lava, gets lowered.*
"Aah!"
"Nya!" shouted Past Kai.
"Tick tock, tick tock." said Past Garmadon.
"Ninja, go!" Past Kai grabs the Sword and cuts Nya down. Past Garmadon laughs.
"Stay close." said Past Kai.
"Trust me. I'm not going anywhere." said Past Nya.
"You can't hurt us! You're only a shadow!" said Past Kai.
"This time, I'm actually much more!" said Past Garmadon.
"I don't remember him saying that." said Nalia.
"Wait, he never said that before. Something's different." said Kai.
*Present Garmadon reveals himself.*
"G-Garmadon? But you're supposed to be trapped in the Underworld." said Past Kai.
"Oh, there's so much more you don't know." said Garmadon.
"Go, future me. Destroy him!" Present Garmadon laughs as he and Past Kai start fighting.
"Ugh, we have to do something. I don't stand a chance against Garmadon's four arms. Wait, that's it!" Kai jumps in front of Past Kai.
"Two Kais?" Past Garmadon questioned.
"Yeah." said Past Kai.
"I guess I have four arms too." said Kai.
Nalia and Past Nalia jumped out, trying to help as they pointed their staffs at Garmadon.
"Huh?" Nalia and her past self looked at each other in confusion. Nalia motioned with her hand to say they split up.
They both do so and try attacking Garmadon from both sides, but he quickly knocks them away.
"Oh, mangos," mumbled Nalia, only catching the attention of her past self.
"Now, I've got you." Cole grabs his Weapon, but Garmadon overpowers him. "Aah! I think it's safe to say the past has drastically changed."
Both Garmadons laugh triumphantly.
"I was thinking about that. It could be possible to erase the events that have transpired so far by destroying the Mega Weapon that brought us here in the first place." said Zane.
"You mean if we destroy that weapon, everything goes back to normal?" said Kai.
"Uh, theoretically." said Zane.
"But nothing can destroy the Mega Weapon. Only a weapon of equal power has any chance of stopping it." said Cole.
"I could try biting it, or punching it." Nalia suggested.
"NO!" shouted the ninjas.
"Just a suggestion." Nalia mumbled.
"We aren't having you risking your life trying to destroy it." said Kai.
"Haha, but maybe the weapons forged to create it in the first place?" Jay reveals to them, he brought the Golden Weapons.
"No!" shouted Garmadon.
"The Golden Weapons!" said Cole.
"Nice thinking Jay." said Nalia smiling.
"Yeah, I thought these might come in handy." said Jay.
"Okay, no time to find out how you got these. We have to destroy the Mega Weapon once and for all. Fire!" said Kai.
Nalia formed a sand shield around herself as she watched.
"Lightning!"
"Earth!"
"Ice!"
"No! What are you doing?" shouted Garmadon.
"Ninja, go!" The Weapon gets shot into space. Past Nya slowly fades away.
"Nya! What's happening!?" Past Kai, Past Nalia and Past Wu disappear as well. The ninjas and Nalia are sent back to the present.
"Did we just, uh...?" Jay asked.
"Return to the future?" Kai asked.
"This feels familiar, but weren't we training Lloyd?" Cole asked.
"The future was altered and there is no Green Ninja." said Zane.
Lloyd comes in panting. "Sorry I'm late, guys. Are we ready to get training?"
"Ha! You're still here!" said Kai.
"Uh, yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" Lloyd asked.
"So when we went back in time and destroyed Garmadon's Mega Weapon, that didn't change anything?" Jay questioned while Kai goes to grab a watermelon.
"My father has a Mega Weapon?" Lloyd asked.
"Oh, wait a minute, you've never heard of it?" Kai slices the melon, giving one to everyone.
"I-I think I would've remembered that. Why? What is it? Should I be concerned?" Everyone laughs at him. "Hey, what are you guys laughing at? What's so funny?" Lloyd carves a dragon on his slice.
"Hahaha, I think some things are best left in the past. Come on. Let's just prepare for the future." Everyone laughs.
"I don't get it." said Lloyd.
"Wait, where's Lia?" Cole asked.
Everyone stopped laughing and looked at each other, concerned.
"Now that you mention it, I haven't seen her." said Lloyd.
"If you guys are looking for Nalia, she is outside on the upper deck, though she seemed a little down," said Nya, coming by the door.
Everyone looked at each other before heading outside but stopped as they heard singing.
(the song she is singing.)
(link to song)
"Goodbye for now
I thank you, loud from the bottom of my heart
There is so much more than sadness, there's more than this grief
And when I left I hope, at best, I managed to convey
That in time the pain will turn to warmth as we go separate ways
I had always thought that what we had would last forever
Within my mind I painted out our days together
Calling out to your heart
Like two lights in the dark
To the fire in my soul, keep burning on
When our fates align
We will meet again, it'll be a journey set ablaze
I keep having to let go of your hand for our future's sake
I'll remember you everytime the light
Shines upon a dream
I'll watch it come true
Tears falling from my eyes
Wishing to be strong for you
There's resolve woven in my goodbye.~"
Nalia was standing on the upper deck, with tears running down her face as she sang her heart out in pain.
The ninjas had gotten to the lower deck as they listened to her singing, and got the feeling that she was grieving over something. Which they had never seen her do.
".....Lia." Lloyd whispered, concerned about what had upset her so much.
"These memories, they capture me with nostalgia of the past
Every ocean in this cruel world is filled with my tears
Although I know the more, I grow
The pain, it will too
I don't want to lose anything again
The way I did with you
If I gave into the darkness and the grief that's haunting me
Would that end all the pain I feel and save what's remaining
It's your words echoing
All your wishes and dreams
I will not forsake them.
I'll keep them safe, I swear
Oohoo...~"
A faint golden glow surrounded Nalia, and stars sat around her instead of dancing as they could feel her pain.
"Now it's crumbling into dust and I watch it fall
It's our one and only irreplaceable dream
Our whole world
Reaching out my hand for that burning light
Wanting nothing more than to hold it close
It once shined so bright, but it disappeared, leaving only hope
More than happiness, nothing can compare
To the dream that you had left me to hold
Now without looking back
Taking my first step alone
I'll only look ahead
Walking forward on my own
Keeping the flame within my heart always burning bright
Until I find
That distant future.~"
The glow faded with the stars, but the tears ran down Nalia's face.
"Lia?" Lloyd had come up the stairs and slowly walked over to her. "Are you ok—"
Nalia let out a growl as she slammed a fist hard into the railing, causing the Bounty to shake and almost crash. There was a large crack in the ship when she lifted her fist. "I need space." She said, walking past Lloyd, not looking at him as she went to the lower deck and back inside.
"What just happened?" Jay asked.
"I'm surprised the ship is still running." said Cole.
