"You'd be the clan's Defense Engineer."
Bundi blinked in surprise, his eyes widening slightly.
"Engineer?" he repeated, sounding genuinely caught off guard by the word.
Clearly, he had no idea what the word meant.
I continued before he could ask.
"You'd be responsible for developing the clan's defensive systems. Traps, kill zones, layered defenses, siege weapons, reinforcement points... anything that makes invading this clan difficult."
Bundi's eyes gradually widened the more I spoke.
"You'd also oversee the development of support equipment and combat utilities for the fighters."
Honestly, most of those ideas didn't even properly exist yet within the clan, but Bundi was one of the few goblins I could genuinely see turning concepts like that into reality if given enough time and resources.
He had the mindset for it.
