The next morning at 7 AM, as Liebe woke up and gently moved away not to wake up Licht and Alysa who were basically attached to him, he ran off to his parents' room. As he jumped on them, waking them up:
Tenebris screamed, "What happened? Is everyone alive?"
Lilith said, "5 more minutes, Dad. I don't wanna go to class."
Liebe said, "Mommy, wake up, wake up! It's morning!"
Lilith said, "Oh, morning already? Just 5 more minutes. I don't wanna go to work."
Liebe said, "Mommy, play with me! It's raining outside!"
Lilith said, "It's raining? Alright then!" As she jumped up, grabbed Liebe, and broke through the wall.
Lilith said, "It really is raining."
Liebe said, "Told you!" As they flew in the rain.
Later they came in for breakfast. Gelda was already feeding Elizabeth.
Alysa said, "Good morning." Licht still sleeping, being dragged by the foot by Alysa.
Liebe said, "Good morning."
As soon Liebe and Domr went to work:
Gelda said, "You three should get ready for school."
Liebe said, "Yeah, oh that."
As everyone went to school. After school:
Alysa said, "So what's the plan? How will we escape Gelda?"
Liebe said, "Like how we do normally."
As Gelda started teaching them:
Gelda said, "OK, now listen. If you have 10 apples and your friend eats 5, how many do you have left?"
Liebe and Alysa said, "5."
Gelda said, "Good. Now, Licht—" as Licht gave 5 farts in his sleep.
Gelda said, "Well, good enough."
Liebe said, "Gelda, I need to use the toilet."
Gelda said, "No. Whenever I start to teach, you always use that, but not today."
Liebe, using his puppy dog eyes, said, "But I need to go."
Gelda said, "Fine." As he ran off.
As he met Tenebris:
Tenebris said, "Where are you going, son?"
Liebe said, "I'm gonna get some apples, Daddy."
Tenebris said, "OK." As Liebe ran off, then he thought, *Wait, we don't have any apples at home.*
As Liebe said, "Dark Magic: Dark Castling!" As he teleported away.
Gelda said, "Now then, what is—"
Alysa said, "Can I go play too?"
Gelda said, "No, you three still have studies."
Alysa said, "6, 5, 12, alpha, dog, watch ourselves."
Gelda said, "Good. Those were the answers to my questions I didn't even ask yet. You may go."
As Alysa was leaving, dragging Licht by the leg:
Gelda said, "Hold on a minute. You aren't taking that."
Alysa said, "Damn it." She left Licht and went away. As Licht was sleep crawling.
Gelda said, "Fine then. Go." As Licht sleep crawled away.
Elizabeth said, "Play!"
Gelda said, "Now you wanna play with your big brothers and sister too and slack off? Great. Fine then." As she put Elizabeth on the ground and Elizabeth crawled away at top speed as she screamed to freedom.
As Gelda sat down and sighed and said, "I swear, those four. I don't know what to do with them anymore. Not to mention, now I'm confused if the last one is even mine or not. When will she awaken her Gelda genes and start studying like it's fun?"
Tenebris said, "Umm, lemonade, Gelda?"
Gelda said, "Whiskey. Extra strong. Four barrels—one for each idiot that escaped."
Tenebris said, "That may be a bit much."
Gelda said, "I swear to God. By the way, do you mind if I punch your wife a few times when she gets home tonight with those four?"
Tenebris said, "Well, as a husband, I feel like I should defend her, but I'm not a debater good enough necessary to argue with you, so I will not answer that."
Gelda said, "I will take that as a yes. And I swear, how does your son do it? Toilet, puppy dog eyes, the teleport? I'm the greatest spatial magic user in the nation, second best in the world, and here that idiot teleports out of my range. How does he do it? I don't get it. I have never been this indirectly insulted or humiliated before."
Tenebris said, "You say that every time, but every time you let him escape."
Gelda said, "Well, kids need to do dumb stuff. But now I'm considering if the last one is even mine."
Tenebris said, "Well, that last one did come out of you, and you did break Lilith's wrists like 12 times during the process."
Gelda said, "I know. So why couldn't she be a nerd like me? Whose genes did she even get? Now I'm confused."
Tenebris said, "Looked like it outside."
As everyone met up:
Liebe said, "Time for today's mission. Today the mission Grandpa gave us is getting apples. But he said today it is going to be hard."
Alysa said, "I mean, how hard can it be?"
Liebe said, "I don't know. It says: make sure your team all get an apple and enjoy, but make sure everyone gets their own apple. No cutting trees."
Alysa said, "Soooo, I think you need to fly up there and get us some."
Liebe said, "I know. But what did he mean by 'everyone gets their own'? I mean, I did plan to get 4—one for each of us."
Licht said, "Apples sound good to me."
Liebe said, "I got it. Maybe he wants to make sure everyone gets the apple themselves."
Licht said, "That would make sense. We can get it easily since we can fly, but what about Alysa and Elizabeth?"
Liebe said, "Easy. We burn the tree. The rules said no cutting, not no burning."
Alysa said, "I have a better idea." As she whispered the idea in Liebe's ear.
Liebe said, "That works."
As Liebe flies up and gets his apple. Licht flies up and gets his apple as well.
Liebe said, "Now, Alysa, on my back." As Liebe does a piggyback ride and flies up with her. Alysa gets her apple. Finally, he carries Elizabeth up.
Liebe said, "Go on, Ellie. Get the apple. Get the apple. The red apple." As Elizabeth also picked up an apple. Then Liebe came down as they started to snack on them.
Then Lia and her sister Lana came.
Liebe said, "Big Sis Lia, want to join us?"
Lia said, "Sure."
As Liebe went up and got them some apples too.
Lana said, "You really are a softie, aren't you, Liebe?"
Liebe said, "Umm, what is that supposed to mean?"
Licht said, "An idiot."
Liebe said, "I'm not an idiot."
Lia said, "Sure, sure, tiny."
Liebe said, "I'm not tiny, Sis."
As they all ate apples under the tree. Then a lightning bolt landed next to them.
Liebe said, "Big Bro Vexus!"
Vexus said, "Yo, tiny."
Liebe said, "Tell me what kind of mission did you go on next?"
Vexus said, "I went on a bandit subjugation with old man Jewel."
Licht said, "My dad isn't old."
Vexus said, "Yeah, yeah."
Lia said, "So what are you, a 5th Class Knight of Wind?"
Vexus said, "No, a 5th Knight of Earth."
Lana said, "Hey—"
As a girl hiding behind a tree:
Licht said, "Yo, come out. You do know we can see you, right?"
As the girl came out:
Liebe said, "Hello. I'm Liebe. Want to be friends?"
The girl said, "Greetings. I'm Mavia Grinberryal."
Liebe said, "What kind of magic do you have? Can I see? Can I see?"
Mavia said, "I have this. It's called Holy Light Magic."
Liebe said, "Cool. Join my team."
Mavia said, "I'm not sure."
Liebe said, "Come on, pretty please. Pretty, pretty please."
Mavia said, "Umm—"
Liebe said, "By the way, want an apple?" As Liebe looked up, suddenly the tree was empty. Not a single apple was left.
Liebe said, "That is strange. I swear I saw apples just a moment ago."
Mavia said, "It's OK."
Liebe said, "Wait, lemme try something." As he extended his hand in front of the tree, he said, "Grow." Nothing.
Vexus said, "Well, that was lame."
Lia said, "Yup."
Lana said, "Keep trying. Maybe you will get it next year."
Liebe said, "Oh, I know how Grandpa did it." As he bit his finger and made it bleed. Liebe said, "I know Gelda hates it when I get hurt, but I think this is how Grandpa did it." As he let a few drops fall at the base of the tree. "I think it was Dark Magic: World Tree's Blessing." As nothing happened.
Liebe said, "Oh right. Grandpa said I can make my spells—copying ain't any good. So how did this one work again? Something about nutrients, something like that. Now, Dark Magic: Life's Endless Virtues." As now the tree began to grow and apples formed, yet now they were so big the apples fell and they were buried in it.
As Liebe picked up an apple and gave it to Mavia:
Liebe said, "Please join my team."
Mavia said, "OK."
Liebe said, "Oh right, if you are part of my team, you need to get your own apple. Can you pick one up from the ground?"
Mavia said, "Sure."
As a woman behind them said, "Mavia, time to go."
Vexus said, "It's you." As she picked up Mavia and left.
Liebe said, "Uhh, but she was part of our team."
Licht said, "Liebe, that woman—did you see her? She was full of malice."
Liebe said, "Malice?"
Vexus said, "Yeah, she is bad news."
Lia said, "Really bad news."
As everyone fell asleep under the tree.
When waking up:
Liebe thought, *Wait, if Alysa's cheeks are so soft, let me try.* As he pulled Licht's cheeks. He thought, *OK, fun.* As he pulled Lana's cheeks. He thought, *Nice.* As he pulled Lia's cheeks. He thought, *Why so big?* As he pulled Elizabeth's cheeks. He thought, *Why is it so smooth and fluffy? But why is Alysa's cheeks the perfect amount of squishy and soft?*
Lia said, "Well, if you like them, there is a way to make them softer. It is said tears make cheeks softer."
Liebe said, "OK." As Liebe tickled Alysa till she cried.
Liebe said, "Done."
Licht said, "I thought you would hit her."
Liebe said, "No. Grandpa said a man should never raise his hands on a woman, so I won't. But tickling her was fun." As he pulled Alysa's cheeks, he thought, *Yup, still same as before.*
Vexus said, "Well, I have to go."
Liebe said, "OK."
As Liebe, Lia, Lana, Licht, Alysa, and Elizabeth went into the forest. As they found the tiger again:
Liebe said, "Hello, Mr. Tiger. Can we ride you today too?"
As the tiger, still traumatized over yesterday, bowed its head. Everyone rode it together.
Liebe said, "Faster, Mr. Tiger! Faster!"
As the tiger ran fast, Elizabeth started to cry.
Liebe said, "My tiger, stop! You see? You made her cry. Say sorry. You are naughty, Mr. Tiger."
The tiger didn't know what to do. As even with the tiger apologizing, Elizabeth didn't stop crying.
Liebe said, "Umm—"
Licht said, "You made her cry."
Liebe said, "No, I didn't. Wait, I know. My mom sings this to me when I can't sleep." As Liebe started singing, "We shall overcome, we shall overcome someday." And Elizabeth started smiling again.
As Lilith came to them and said, "Ready to get started on today's fun?"
Liebe said, "Yeahhh!"
