Lilith: Merchants from blumund had been spotted going in and out of the capital city freely. While the magicules is highly dense, it's not enough to affect the human body. This could be a sign that tempest would be open to human cooperation as stated from previous sources
Hinata: Did you see Veldora or Kaijuno?
Lilith: No, the sealed cave is blocked off to outsiders, and demon lord Kaijuno doesn't seemed to be a being that goes out often
Sare: Talk about trouble. Not only had the very storm dragon been revived, a whole new demon lord had made as well. And the ol captain here just had to make things 100 times worst by killing off his sister right before too
Lennart: show some respect to lady hinata, sare
Arnaud: If you got a problem, you face me instead
Gregori: tch! You classy knight seem to have gotten cocky

It change seems peaceful at first, but recently King Edward has been hiring mercenaries along with drafting citizens, putting the nobility on edge. It's looking to be that a civil war will ensue.
As for if Demon Lord Kaijuno has any involvement, there is a lack of evidence to confirm to be the case

Sare: I also discovered that King Edward has been in talks with the head of the Western Council, the heads of the free union, and most concerning, a merchant from the east who he seems to be trading for equipment
Hinata: So King Edward is doing everything he can to boost his military power. In other words, he has no intentions to pay war reparations

Hinata: (Maybe I should've heard her out back then. Nevermind that, we have more pressung matters at hand)
Hinata: does this merchant seem at all suspicious?
Sare: Glenda, did hear anything about the merchant from the trade center?
Glenda: As far as I know, there's nothing suspicious but I can look into it further incase something was missed

A revaluation like this wpuld be seen as horrible jest if it were to be anyone else but to said from the god they worship bring chills down to everyone's spine
Hinata: It's best to make it clear that we shall not initiate any aggression with the Demon Lord
Gregori: Seriously!? His brother!? What is that supposed to mean!?
Sare: If Kaijuno truly is Veldora's brother, does that mean he's a true dragon too!?
Renard: So could this mean we're not just dealing with a new demon lord but a second storm dragon!!!!?
Hinata: No, it has been confirmed that just like Rimuru, Kaijuno is a slime
Gregori: What does this mean for Falmuth? Are we just gonna ignore them?
Hinata: not entirely, the likely civil war is between the nobility and royalty. Our priority is the protection of the populace.
Gregori: But we should still do something about Demon Lord Kaijuno right?
Hinata: The oracle is absolute so as for that matter we are to ignore it until further notice. There's too many great risks from the very little information that we currently know of. And we're already in hot water with the Demon Lord and his nation due to slaying of his sister and Reyhiem and temple knights taking part in the invasion against Tempest.
While Princess Rimuru formly declared to wishing to work with humans, we haven't heard such a statement from Kaijuno and it's very likely he doesn't share the same ideals that his sister once had. It's safe to assume he already views us as enemies
Gregori: But that was the Western Holy Chruch's fault and yours as well!
Hinata: Exactly, which is why I'll take care of reconciliation myself. Most likely case, I'll have to offer my head in exchange for what I've done
This drastic measure of remorse gave everyone else a sense of whiplash after the urgent news they already heard from Hinata. If she were to go through such a means, it would be a great lost for Luberious

Hinata:(I'm at least hoping he'll lend an ear. From my sources, Rimuru was an otherworlder who reincarnated into this world as a slime. Since slime are normally lacking in intelligence, this is likely the same case for Kaijuno. Hopefully this could give some chance at reconciliation, but given what happened, it doesn't really matter if he's an Otherworlder or not)
In the middle of this, knocking could be heard from the doors leading to the room, Hinata fully knowing who is the one knocking, none other than the archbishop who was personally there to witness the horror

Hinata: Reyhiem, I'll get straight to the point. What happened in the battle field? The information that Veldora suddenly revived and rampaged didn't sit quite well so we liked to hear it from someone who was there personally
Reyhiem: It-it was terrifying. Utterly terrifying! Out of nowhere, our soldiers were being shot down by beams of light! It was as if the sun itself was striking down on us! None of our armor nor barriers could've protected us from it!
As if what they already heard was a cause for worry but a good number of the people in the room were panicking internally
Reyhiem: That wasn't even the worst of the horror. While the light was already dreadful, what truly was the worst was what happened right afterwards. In the instant, the battlefield went from screams of panic to dead silent

Reyhiem: No that's just it! We had half of the army with us in our post. 10,000 soldiers were being hunted like prey with no opportunity to resist, while the rest just suddenly died

With how Reyhiem not specifying who did it, everyone else im the room simply assumed it was Kaijuno who committed the act. The image was made clear to them, Kaijuno was a cruel demon who is capable of a high amount of destruction, overpowering even an army.
It was no secret that everyone was shocked by what Reyhiem has said, even the stoic Hinata held an expression astonishment
Hinata:(....Holy hell)
Hinata: I see....if Kaijuno is capable of pulling that along with the high death count. Demon Lord Kaijuno is likely awakened
Sare: Yeah, I believe to be a similar case to the two demon lords from the legends. And with the storm dragon's acknowledgement ,he might be already far off what humanity can handle
Arnaud: Hold on! Everyone calm down! If he only awakened recently, then there's still a chance he hasn't outgrown the strength of humanity yet

Before what seemed to be the conclusion of the meeting, a flash of light appeared in the middle of the meeting. From the light, emerges three figure wrapped in cloth

Presented to Hinata, an was an orb used for communication. Within it was shown a prerecorded video. The center shows someone with a tall and intimidating stature. It was clear given his clothing that he was a high ranking individual. The first thing to notice was a smiling mask that covered his whole face but given the grim atmosphere surrounding the figure, it was safe to assume they weren't smiling underneath
Hinata: (Is this Kaijuno?)
Kaijuno:...Hinata-I won't tolerate any insolence- If you want to finish us off- then I'll take you on myself, and unlike Rimuru, this slime bites
After the message was said, the video distorted on a frame til the orb cracked and bursted out of Hinata's hand

Out from the shadows is the completely poker face Leonardo along with on the floor. Is a saint wrapped in a suggestive diagonal pattern of threads from legs to chest. A pair of threads were around their head as blind fold and as a muffler. The most notable thing to notice second to the uncomfortable sight was that this paladin wasn't Garde, but instead it was Litith

Kaijuno:(what the hell!? Wasn't Garde the one who was left behind and assassinated by the seven luninaries!? Why her and not the red head!?)
Yagami:(Answer, in this timeline, individual Lilith seems to be the one who gotten the short end of the stick instead of individual Garde)
Kaijuno:(So just be pure chance, the outcome was different? So I assume garde went along with hinata and the others in Lilith's place. It's not like I'm keeping track myself since Rimuru has Soka keep tabs on them. For now at least, I'm gonna need to know what exactly I'm looking at)

Leonardo: Then it gotten to the point that I didn't want to her speak nor even look at me with her disturbing eyes so that's why I wrapped her face too

Kaijuno poke at the paladins shoulder, checking to see if she's conscious. Unfortunately she was infact awake but thinking it was Leonardo, she started begging for . . . let's just say "SUGGESTIVE" stuff that are relevant to her current situation.
Kaijuno immediately jumped back at how this took an extreme turn that even he wasn't exactly a fan of. He turned towards Leonardo who was looking away as even he can look confidently stoic when this was what he could present to his master
Kaijuno:.....you know what, I'll leave her in your hands till the rest of the saints appear

Kaijuno left the aimless hostage with the blue ninja, who is now highly regretting the situation he got himself in. It especially doesn't help that the paladin keep speaking words that makes it clear that she is taking this the absolutely wrong way
Kaijuno: (If I had a nickel for everytime I've seen a blonde female paladin that is uncomfortably masochistic, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice)

Deep within the Great Forest of Jura, a group of paladins traverses through, only to come across a battle field between warriors of Luberious and Tempest
Hinata:(Seriously!? Before we even arrive, war is ensuing. That begs the question of why they're here along with Renard and Lilith when they were supposed to stay behind.)
As the paladin pondered, the sky appove them tinted in green
Hinata: (A barrier? Seems to he different from our holy field. It looks to be they don't us to escape if finding the opportunity to do so)
Some more observations were made from the high ground they were at but they couldn't find Demon Lord Kaijuno nor any significant figures within the battlefield but then, out for the blue they were approached by the one they were seeking
Completely covering himself in his kingly robe from head to toe like a gigantic hoodie and with a mask that hides his face, this gives the figure a great sense of mysteries
Kaijuno: Seems you've finally arrived
