What the heck? Why does my head hurt so damn bad
Bael opened his eyes and froze in awe. He looked around. Paintings of crowned demons filled the hall of marble and obsidian.
Wait? This is the demon king's castle hidden in the Hanjun forest.
"Bael. Are you listening my boy," a familiar voice called out to him.
"Yes father," Bael responded, snapping back to reality.
Clamore chuckled, placing a hand on Bael's shoulder, "What's the matter boy, getting cold feet now,"he asked still smiling.
Bael stared at his father, a slight grin tugging at his lips.
Right so I'm reliving that day.
" It's nothing father. I'm just not sure if I'm cut out to be the next demon king, "Bael said in a nervous voice.
Clamore sighed," To be honest with you son, you would make a terrible king. "
Bael looked at him with a scowl on his face. Clamore quickly raised a hand to his face.
"You are not built to be a king. From the day of your birth it has been clear to me that you were meant for more. So I ask you to promise me one thing," Clamore said as he held out his hand.
Bael nodded and shook his hand.
"Promise me that you will ensure that the next demon king is truly worthy to be the demon king," he continued.
"I will not fail you father," Bael responded.
Clamore smiled as the space around them turned into a white empty void.
"Then it is time for you to wake up," Clamore said, pushing Bael into the ground.
Bael smiled as the figure of his father slowly shrinked into nothing and a violent flash of light engulfed him.

"What the fuck happened," Bael asked in a dazed voice.
Before he could recover from the violent hit of the wave, the boat slammed into something massive. The impact made Bael lost his footing and fall off the boat but he caught the railing in time.
"Would it kill to have some rest in between missions," Bael said while hoisting himself back onto the boat.
He poked his head over the rail and barely managed to catch a glimpse of blue scales disappearing into the river.
"Well great, now I have to fight in water. Again," Bael said as he stood up, still looking down into the river.
