Chapter 347 - Mom, It Was Them

"Mom, It Was Them"

Several horrendous creatures emerged from the forest. Every single one of them appeared to be ordinary animals like deer, bears, and even boars.

But the difference was that these were enormous.

And their bodies were covered in deformities, with dozens of eyes, multiple mouths, and the one thing they all shared: those horrendous tentacles protruding from their skin, dripping blood everywhere.

Like a tide of corrupted animals, they roared while their hungry gazes locked directly onto them.

This time Narcissa looked ready to intervene after seeing the number of enemies the boys had to face.

But before she had to do anything, walls of earth and ice rose at the same time, surrounding the entire cemetery.

Harry and Draco, who had been watching the monsters, saw this and looked toward the same point.

"Oh. Looks like they woke up," Harry said with a slight smile as he saw his Aunt Selene appear, wearing a somewhat annoyed expression, as though she had just woken from a horrible dream.

And the other one was climbing out of the ground, completely covered in dirt and wearing a confused expression.

Sirius.

He looked around and said:

"Why the hell am I buried?"

Harry could not help looking away to avoid seeing his godfather, whom he had buried himself, completely forgetting that he would wake up eventually.

Unlike Selene, she had been left behind to protect Narcissa until she woke up.

Lucius, seeing that all his enemies had escaped the illusion in the end while his followers had not, let out a brief growl of complete disdain before calming his expression and moving his fingers as if he did not care in the slightest what had happened to Bellatrix and the others.

The serpent suddenly turned toward Draco, taking advantage of his distraction.

But Harry, who was paying attention, raised his hand and clenched it toward the serpent.

The serpent's head exploded into a cloud of red and black.

But the body immediately formed another head.

Harry frowned.

"Wow. So that's what it feels like," he said while the serpent shifted its attack toward him instead, opening its horrid mouth that split into four sections.

And Harry's body transformed into red mist, slipping effortlessly between the creature's jaws before reappearing directly above it.

Then he opened both palms while briefly holding his wand in his mouth, preparing to unleash a powerful attack against the monster.

But Lucius raised both hands at the same time, as though he were copying him.

Harry, who was about to attack the serpent, turned his gaze toward Lucius, who pointed both hands at him.

And suddenly a weight appeared on Harry, trying to force him downward at the same time the serpent turned around and opened its mouth, expecting Harry to automatically fly straight into it.

But Draco also moved his wand and his free hand.

Gold surged beneath their feet like a wave and rushed toward the serpent, surrounding it before transforming into giant golden hands that strangled the enormous serpent and tore it in half, turning it into black and red mist.

At the same time, the gold fell back to the ground in liquid form and transformed into spears that flew toward Lucius.

Lucius was forced to stop his attack on Harry and raise a hand to defend himself from the spears.

But Harry, wearing a vengeful smile, snapped both hands.

"Snap."

The moment he did, Lucius' Chaos Magic malfunctioned again.

And Lucius dropped slightly lower.

His eyes burned with a strange fury.

Two spears pierced his stomach and shoulder.

"AAAAAH!"

Forcing him to let out a cry of pain at the exact same moment his body vanished through apparition, reappearing directly on the ground with his face twisted by pain and uncontrolled rage.

"You damned brats!" Lucius shouted as blood from his wounds finally reached the ground.

The earth immediately began rotting while red tentacles burst from it at incredible speed like twisted weeds.

The corrupted ground spread all the way to Harry's and Draco's feet.

Meanwhile Sirius, who had finally climbed out of his burial site, pulled out his wand, prepared to attack Lucius.

But before he could, the wall of earth and ice that he and Selene had raised shattered into pieces as a massive humanoid monster entered the battlefield.

"GRAAAAAAA!"

It roared furiously, starving and savage.

Its gaze locked directly onto the group before it immediately charged toward them.

Sirius widened his eyes for a moment at the sudden appearance of that thing and traced a circle with his wand, unleashing a blast of nature magic toward the rampaging monster, pushing it backward for a moment.

At the same time, roots erupted from the ground and easily wrapped around the monster, preventing it from moving.

Meanwhile Selene, seeing that the monstrous animals were about to break through, waved her wand again and created another wall of ice.

"How long do you think you can keep those defenses up? Once they get through, you won't be able to do anything. Their energy is endless," Lucius said with a smile while pulling the spear out of his stomach, causing massive streams of blood to pour out.

But at that moment more reddish tentacles emerged and stopped the bleeding that otherwise might have killed him.

Though it only made him look even more absurd, with a large tentacle sticking out of his stomach.

Harry, who had also turned to look, stared at him so intensely that his frown deepened more and more.

"Did you try it on people too?"

Lucius did not answer immediately.

He only smiled with mockery and pride.

"I only gave magic to those who wanted it," Lucius said disdainfully.

The implication behind those words made everyone frown.

"Many say that new power corrupts. But it opened my eyes. There are no gods in this world. So I will become the god of magic. And since my son refuses to share the glory, then you will die as the failure you chose to become," Lucius said as a huge smile spread across his face.

Lucius moved his hand.

The telekinesis slammed directly into Draco.

But Draco, standing firmly on the ground, remained completely unmoved while his feet were anchored by golden chains that had formed too quickly for Lucius to notice.

Draco wore a serious expression as he raised both hands.

The gold around the battlefield transformed into thousands of weapons once again.

"Harry," Draco murmured in a cold tone.

"Of course," Harry replied, raising his wand and murmuring:

"Geminio, Engorgio."

One after the other.

All the swords, daggers, spears, and bladed weapons split apart several times while simultaneously growing larger.

Draco gave the command by bringing both hands together, and all of them flew toward Lucius violently.

At the same time, he raised both hands upward.

And the ground split open as enormous golden hands emerged from below, as if a colossal being made of gold were trying to rise from the depths beneath the earth.

Created from the gold hidden deep underground.

Lucius saw this, and his smile widened.

He opened his mouth while raising both hands and roared.

It was not a human scream.

His body deformed even further, and even more blood flooded his skin before dripping onto the ground.

Dark Magic and Chaos Magic mixed around him until they formed several long shadows that stretched across the ground like serpents.

Meanwhile, the tentacles that had previously emerged from nowhere seemed to absorb that energy.

And their size began growing rapidly.

Hundreds of enormous tentacles stopped both the weapons and the giant golden hands.

While Lucius wore a proud smile, like someone who had planned everything from the very beginning.

The tentacles that now dominated the battlefield also surrounded Harry and the others.

Who could not help but be briefly surprised, realizing that Lucius had planned everything well in advance.

But...

Narcissa, Sirius, and Selene did not even raise their wands.

Harry and Draco raised both hands.

Around them, gold and Chaos Magic began spinning, forming a kind of rotating barrier whose speed continued increasing.

Every tentacle that touched the barrier was instantly shredded apart.

Even the Dark Magic itself.

Harry lowered his hands while Draco maintained the shield of blades.

And calmly drew his wand while it glowed with its intense red light.

A small blood red flame emerged from its tip and moved toward the shield Draco maintained.

But it passed through it effortlessly.

Straight toward the severed tentacle fragments.

The moment it touched their disgusting flesh, the flame consumed them in an explosion.

And then every fragment or piece it touched afterward.

Causing the flame to move like a violent flash in a single second.

One that consumed everything around it in a massive explosion that spread across the entire cemetery.

Completely devouring every tentacle, whether small or enormous, in an instant.

Even the Fiendfyre tornado off to the side where Armand and Luciel were fighting was nearly affected, barely maintaining its shape.

Only because its controller used all his strength to keep it together from within.

Harry remained silent while calmly observing the surroundings.

Then he lowered his hand as the fire that had consumed every tentacle and every trace of Chaos Magic, using it as fuel to burn, seemed to last only a few seconds.

Once the Chaos Magic had been consumed as energy, the flames quickly died out.

"You'd better return that energy to its rightful owner," Harry said in a calm, dry tone.

Complete surprise filled Lucius' face.

Unable to understand how Harry possessed so much control over the same magic he wielded, despite being only a child.

It enraged him.

The tentacles beneath his skin twisted wildly out of control.

Lucius raised his wand as Draco's shield came to a stop.

"Avada..."

Draco barely moved a finger.

A tiny piece of gold that Lucius had failed to notice when it approached him suddenly shot forward at incredible speed, transforming into a sharp needle.

Which pierced straight through his wrist.

Interrupting the spell.

At the same time, the earth beneath him split open and dozens of golden chains emerged, wrapping around his legs.

"What?" Lucius said, surprised that he had not noticed them.

Quickly, his body blurred through apparition and reappeared several meters away.

But the moment he appeared again, chains burst from beneath the ground, trying to capture him.

Just as he was about to apparate again, he felt his body become rigid, as though someone were holding him in place.

And he raised his gaze, seeing Harry with a hand pointed toward him while slowly closing his fist.

As Lucius himself felt the suffocating pressure of being crushed.

While the chains wrapped around his legs and slowly climbed upward around his body.

"You brats!" Lucius roared furiously as he watched two children capture him.

Before a wicked smile spread across his face.

"HAHAHAHAHA! So what if you catch me? You'll never control those creatures. Without my control they'll be free. Pure devastation. HAHAHA! No matter what an abomination like you does. No matter if the monstrosity you call..."

Before Lucius could finish speaking to Harry.

The very air in front of him seemed to crack apart.

As red sparks flashed into existence.

A beautiful red haired woman appeared directly in front of Harry and Draco.

Looking very annoyed.

The sight of her made Harry freeze.

"Mom?" he said as he watched Wanda appear there out of nowhere.

While Sirius, Narcissa, and Selene all wore strange expressions at seeing Wanda standing there.

She was supposed to be at Hogwarts, just as they had agreed, handling things there.

But judging by her expression, Wanda looked extremely annoyed.

And Harry could feel it immediately.

Acting on pure instinct, he released his Chaos Magic and pointed toward Lucius.

"Mom, it was him," Harry immediately said.

At that exact same moment, the Fiendfyre tornado in the distance split apart, revealing the people trapped inside.

Luciel, lying on the ground, moments away from being killed by a massive creature made of black mist.

And Armand, who was just about to close the flames again and hide himself.

But he froze when he saw Wanda standing there.

Who turned for a moment to look directly at him.

"And him too," Harry added at the same time.

Pointing at Armand as if he were a child complaining about two bad adults who had been bothering him.

Draco looked at his friend for a moment.

Just moments ago, Harry had been fighting a powerful Dark Wizard alongside him without suffering a single injury.

And now he was suddenly a mama's boy.

Though Draco could not really say much because he was exactly the same.

Because he turned around and looked toward his mother, who had been watching everything.

And puffed out his chest proudly.

Because technically, the battle was over.

And Lucius had been completely defeated by him and Harry.
