The Families of England
Meanwhile, on the Hogwarts grounds, everything was currently wrapped in chaos. After the castle explosion, the panicked crowd began running while enormous monsters attacked from every direction.
Wanda, meanwhile, after opening a portal for Sirius, Narcissa, and Selene to cross through so they could make sure the boys were safe, closed it again and raised her gaze toward the infernal flames that were beginning to spread toward the forest.
And she raised both hands and clenched them instantly.
That caused all the surroundings to seem frozen in time itself.
Completely frozen in place.
Even the evil fire trying to devour everything froze in the air, completely beyond the logic of physics. Or even magic itself.
The only people capable of moving right now were Susan and Pandora, who were right beside her, Hermione, Daphne, Astoria, Luna, Billy, and Tommy, who were in the nearby stands, all of whom now had completely confused expressions.
And the others were Moody along with the people who had come out of the labyrinth, Fleur and Red. Tonks was there as well leading a group of Aurors, among them Shacklebolt.
Lupin and several of Sirius and Edward's men too, who had been prepared for an attack from the very beginning.
And lastly, Wanda herself, who maintained everything with her power while wearing a serious and mildly irritated expression as she observed everyone present, especially the Aurors.
"Hurry and capture those things. I can't maintain this for long. And this is only the area around the castle," she added while urging them on, because although she had sent Selene, Narcissa, and Sirius away, she was still somewhat worried about Harry.
Though she knew those three could protect the boys.
After all, she was still a mother.
And until every annoyance surrounding her children for years disappeared completely from the face of the earth, she was going to remain uncomfortable.
And specifically that had been the strategy the parents created this time.
Even while allowing the villains to believe they were controlling everything from the shadows, they had only been completely guided toward this exact moment.
To clean up their children's future once and for all.
…
Meanwhile, in Hogsmeade, a group of witches and wizards had gathered just outside what looked like a large old wooden cabinet.
The Vanishing Cabinet.
Very similar to the one inside Hogwarts's Room of Requirement.
Several men stepped out from inside it brushing the smoke off their clothes, where others were already waiting for them.
Among them were familiar faces to Harry's group.
For example; Carrow, Crabbe, and Goyle. And several other Slytherins with older, larger versions of themselves standing beside them, obviously their parents.
And someone even more familiar was there with a smile on her face; Juliette Marceau.
Nobody had noticed that this entire group had left the stands before everything went insane.
"So?" Juliette asked, though she already knew the answer since even from here the massive explosion had been heard.
"Done," said the man who still had smoke all around him. "At this point Hogwarts no longer exists," he added.
"Good," Juliette said with a huge dark smile. "And with visitors from different countries being attacked on British soil… it'll really cause quite the blow," she added with fascination. "I wonder how much they'll have to spend just on damages," she added mockingly.
Then she turned her gaze toward Corvin Carrow.
"I already fulfilled my side of the deal. Now it's your turn. If you want to control all of England's economy, you need to completely destroy those families' businesses; Black, Greengrass, Potter, Malfoy, and Granger. Leave nothing behind. And if they happen to have an accident, even better," she said with complete contempt.
"Don't worry. I'm sure the entire British magical world will hate them now. Not even their Ministry contacts will help them. And we already have Fudge in our pocket. He's completely loyal to us. None of them will escape charges for damages against the visitors," Carrow added in a genuinely amused, excited, and ecstatic tone at finally managing to corner Edward and Sirius.
"We also have to thank you, Pansy. You did a good job. Don't worry, your request will be fulfilled," Carrow added while giving Pansy a look, who was standing not far away listening to his words.
Pansy, after hearing herself mentioned, nodded excitedly with eyes already completely out of control, having spent all this time imagining possessing Draco all for herself once he lost everything.
Only she would remain for him.
And nobody else.
Juliette turned around to leave with a triumphant smile on her face.
At last she had her revenge.
She destroyed that detestable school, and now those children would lose everything.
Just like they did to her.
But before she got far enough away, she noticed a small reddish glow flying near the forest that seemed to be staring directly at her.
So Juliette turned around to look in that direction with a confused expression when she saw what it was.
"A fairy?" she said while looking at the tiny fairy in a red dress staring at her.
Until Juliette noticed that in the fairy's hand was what looked like a small orb pointed directly toward them.
Which nobody seemed to recognize at first when looking at the fairy.
But their children seemed to recognize her.
"That's Potter and his siblings' pet. The… the… the one that transformed into that beautiful goddess," Louis Carrow said, showing an almost sick desire to possess her just from remembering the transformation she underwent during the trial against Harry Potter. He even looked like he wanted to pull out his wand to capture her and keep her inside a cage.
But Juliette was not stupid enough to simply believe they had coincidentally run into a fairy belonging to that family.
"Catch her!" she shouted while a bad feeling grew inside her chest, especially because of the small orb the fairy was carrying.
But before anyone could take a step, Terra gave them a mocking smile before flying behind a nearby tree and raising the sphere as if handing it to someone standing behind it.
And indeed, a hand appeared and grabbed the small orb, which slowly grew until it reached the size of a grapefruit. And inside it, images with sound could be seen of everything the entire group there had been talking about moments ago.
Meanwhile, the figure behind the tree stepped out with the same completely normal cold look on his face while observing the images being transmitted through the sphere.
"Y… y… you… Greengrass," Carrow said after seeing the familiar face of that person.
Truly handsome, with the aristocratic air of someone born into nobility.
His mere presence intimidated anyone who was not prepared.
The man people said had no feelings, yet for the sake of his own family could cause the economic collapse of an entire country even if he had to lose eight hundred just to destroy a thousand.
And everyone knew he could do much more than even that.
Remembering how the Flint family suffered for years after one of their elders tried attacking his wife and daughter.
Even now the Flint family still had not recovered and, unable to find a place to live in England, had been forced to flee to America.
All of that caused by a man who spoiled his wife and daughters far too much.
Edward Greengrass.
"Mmm… yes. I think this should be enough to prove this was not an accident, but rather a terrorist attack. Thank you for your help," Edward said in a calm tone toward Terra, who gave a small military salute before throwing another mocking glance toward everyone present and flying away again in Wanda's direction.
"Interesting artifact, right?" Edward said while everyone froze after seeing his presence. "You see, the women in our family group really love keeping memories of our little ones, and apparently photography cameras still couldn't record everything, so they simply created this. It really makes me understand why our children manage to accomplish whatever they set their minds to, creating so many interesting things," he said with a faint smile directed toward the chaotic young people who formed part of their friend group, who by now were practically family.
And all thanks to their wives and children.
"Now…" he said, returning to his cold demeanor again while observing every person present. "It seems both Black and I truly gave you too much freedom for you to think you could plan things against our loved ones, because we genuinely did not want to create problems in the magical world where our children would grow up and live peacefully. But apparently, that requires much more than simply standing still and hoping the hyenas won't try attacking the lion," he said, and his gaze became colder.
Until it locked onto Juliette Marceau, daughter of the former French Minister of Magic.
"We did not even spend that much effort on you and your father, merely making him lose his job when we could have truly made him spend the rest of his life in prison. But as parents, we couldn't do that. But that was also a weakness we should only have toward our friends and family."
Juliette felt a tremor in her chest, feeling that this man could truly make his words reality.
And panic spread through the area, everyone perfectly remembering Edward's methods, since he seemed to have calmed down after getting married.
But even then, stories about him still circulated among CEOs.
And the latest had been a complete assault against every factory and store belonging to the Flint family.
And even that was the softest thing Edward had done since becoming head of the Greengrass family.
Everyone quickly raised their wands while looking at Edward on guard and ready to attack him, trusting in the fact they were dozens while Edward stood alone.
But Edward gave them a look, and on his cold face his eyes only showed mockery.
He even calmly placed the sphere into his pocket.
"This just makes things easier," he said.
