The Final Rush
Harry, Draco, and Luciel remained in complete silence while watching the Champion's Cup being dragged away by the wall forming itself from the ferns to reconstruct the labyrinth.
And while certainly defeating your friends in battle was something truly satisfying, this was supposed to be a competition to win the magic tournament.
But obviously they could not really obtain both things. And even if they did, it would honestly be pretty costly and exhausting, so…
Harry raised his hand and curled his fingers toward himself.
And the cup was grabbed by his red aura, flying directly toward him.
At the same time Draco raised his hand and dozens of spears shot directly toward Harry, while a golden chain burst from the ground and wrapped around the cup, stopping its advance.
Luciel moved as well. His body blurred in a burst of speed as his boots activated to the maximum, propelling him directly toward the cup.
Harry raised his other hand, stopping Draco's spears. And with the same gesture, he launched them toward Luciel.
Who heard them tearing through the air straight toward him, causing him to stop immediately and sheathe his sword at his waist before grabbing the first spear with his hands. And he spun, rotating the spear between his palms, creating a shield against the other projectiles.
Draco raised both hands and the spears deflected by Luciel turned into liquid gold, surrounding him while trying to form a golden cage to trap him.
But Luciel released the spear melting in his hands and grabbed his sword from his waist again in a quick draw stance.
He unleashed an explosive slash, separating the liquid gold before it could completely close around him, and jumped out. But a chain wrapped around one of his legs before he could get away.
Draco pointed his hand toward the cup and pulled the air toward himself.
Then the chain, following his command, launched the cup toward him.
But Harry did not just stand there and raised one finger upward.
Then the earth in front of Draco rose, forming a wall of stone that the cup crashed into, preventing Draco from grabbing it.
And Harry moved his finger again, causing the wall to collapse directly onto the cup, trying to bury it so only he could recover it.
Luciel, with his leg still trapped by the chain, spun his sword between his fingers and grabbed it like a javelin before throwing it with force, piercing directly through one of the cup's handles.
Then the sword and the cup were sent flying together, embedding themselves into the moving fern wall of the labyrinth.
Harry's body turned into red mist, launching itself toward the cup to grab it with his own hands.
He reformed his body to take it and was just about to touch it, but an enormous golden sword blocked his path, nearly slicing his hand apart, forcing Harry to stop his advance while the sword slammed into the wall, shaking it violently and causing Luciel's sword along with the cup to fall to the ground.
Draco moved his hand once more and a layer of gold wrapped around the cup, completely covering it in the shape of a solid golden ball.
And it was sent flying toward him thanks to his control over gold.
Meanwhile Luciel grabbed the chain restraining him with both hands and, pulling in opposite directions while the veins bulged across his arms, shattered the solid gold chains through pure strength.
And before the golden ball could reach Draco, Luciel appeared directly in its path with a downward axe kick.
The runes on his metal boots glowed intensely as he kicked the golden sphere, sending it crashing toward the ground and cracking from the impact.
This did not even surprise Draco or Harry.
Harry, meanwhile, took advantage of it by moving both hands and separating the fragments of gold, freeing the cup.
Luciel, who was still in the air, dropped toward the cup, about to grab it.
But Harry moved his hand, trapping him midair.
"You're not the only one who can control things from a distance," Luciel said with a smile while moving his hand even while being restrained by Harry. "Accio sword!" Luciel shouted while barely raising one hand toward his sword, which had remained behind Harry.
And it flew toward him, moments away from piercing through him.
Which forced Harry to dodge, releasing Luciel in the process.
The sword flew back into Luciel's hands just in time, because Draco turned the gold fragments into blades, which shot toward Luciel.
So Luciel swung his sword, striking each dagger and deflecting them.
Draco took advantage of that brief moment of distraction for a golden hand to emerge from the earth and grab the cup, attempting to drag it underground with it.
Seeing this, Harry crouched down and touched the ground with both hands, giving it a slight shock.
Creating a ripple through the earth that, as if the ground itself had turned into water, moved like a wave. Growing larger and larger until it reached the cup.
And when it reached the cup that was sinking underground, it forced the golden hand back out. The moment the hand emerged to the surface, Harry showed a completely focused expression while snapping his fingers. And with that, the gold making up the hand began changing color. Not only that; its entire structure directly shifted into a bright silver, turning from gold into silver.
Since Draco could only control gold, it became completely motionless, causing Draco to frown in annoyance.
Harry closed his hand and the silver hand was destroyed in an explosion, sending the cup flying toward him.
But he felt golden daggers flying toward him, though they were not coming from Draco. Instead, Luciel had redirected them with his sword and launched them toward Harry.
Harry turned into red mist, allowing them to pass through his body harmlessly.
And reappeared right where he had been standing.
"Sorry. But I'll be the winner," Harry said with a somewhat arrogant smile while opening both arms and clenching both hands as if grabbing something.
Draco and Luciel felt their bodies being held by invisible hands, leaving them completely immobilized.
Then, with a smug smile, Harry walked toward the cup, which floated near his feet. Without releasing his hands, because doing so would free Draco and Luciel, who were struggling to break free.
But before Harry could crouch down to grab the cup, he frowned and turned around, freezing when he saw an enormous red head rising above the labyrinth walls, recognizing it instantly.
"What the hell is that idiot doing?" Harry said while staring at Red's head, questioning his decision to send that stupid dragon to protect Fleur after feeling something strange inside the labyrinth.
Draco and Luciel also looked at it with confused expressions before giving Harry a look asking what the hell was happening.
But Harry did not answer. He only let out a sigh.
But that moment of distraction caused his hands to loosen slightly.
Giving Draco and Luciel their freedom.
The instant they felt Harry's control weaken, they used all their strength to break free.
Draco moved his hands and the ground split apart, releasing a river of liquid gold that carried him across the earth as if he were surfing.
And Luciel, the moment he touched the ground, launched himself toward Harry.
"Mm?" Harry let out after noticing both of them rapidly closing in on him.
And without hesitation, he raised one hand, making the cup float directly toward him. Harry extended his hand forward to grab it.
But Luciel suddenly appeared, grabbing his wrist, forcing Harry to use his other hand.
But Draco appeared on the other side, grabbing his other wrist, and both Luciel and Draco threw their hands toward the cup.
But Harry turned into mist for a millisecond, freeing himself, and also reached toward the cup.
And almost at the exact same time, all three touched different parts of the cup.
They looked at each other for a millisecond, victorious smiles on their faces, shouting at the same time:
"I won!"
But as they said it, they also noticed all three of their hands were on the cup.
Right before their bodies were suddenly absorbed by the cup, which functioned as a Portkey.
Meanwhile, the stands still had not reacted because not only had an enormous dragon suddenly appeared, they did not even have time to react since that entire battle full of madness and chaos had happened in only a matter of seconds.
And if the previous battle between those three monsters had been exciting, this time the three of them were completely insane.
After a second of complete silence, the entire crowd stood up excitedly, raising their hands and shouting with their eyes fixed toward the labyrinth entrance, where a stage had risen decorated with garlands and ornaments with the word "Winner" written across it in giant letters.
At the same time, the sky was dyed with magical sparks of every color to celebrate the winner of this competition.
"Wooooo!" everyone shouted excitedly.
Waiting for the three of them to appear there.
Even the music started playing with trumpets, trombones, and drums.
But everyone, waiting to see Harry, Draco, and Luciel appear, slowly began making more and more confused expressions with every passing second that none of the three showed up like they were supposed to.
"What's happening?" Hermione asked with a frown after not seeing her friends appear. Daphne also had a serious expression.
"Hey, look at that," Daphne said while pointing toward Harry, Draco, and Luciel's three screens in the sky, which no longer showed the labyrinth, but instead now showed the three of them suddenly appearing inside a graveyard…
