In case you missed anything so far, let me recap.
Sophia is in jail, my acting career is practically over, I chased Chris out of my life, Alaric has been squatting with me for a few days, Cassidy is dying, and the father has somehow inserted himself into the story.
Oh, and he kidnapped us.
I turned to look at Cassidy who was snuggled onto the couch. Despite the foreign environment, she seemed comfortable. Which was good, but only if we weren't surrounded by flesh eating werewolves.
We were back in Alaric's mansion. A massive fireplace cackled in one corner, casting ominous lighting around the room, even though the luxurious lights were on.
At the center sat the old man in a large one seater. It was placed on a raised platform, making it look like a throne. Every single person in the room, except for me and Cassidy, stood with their heads bowed.
Oh, and Alaric too. The fraud was on his knees.
