The authorities of the various clans and races across the planet were placed on the highest alert.
Five thousand kilometers away from the land of Sombabi stood a towering palace that reached a height of nine hundred meters. It was the palace of the Yondi Clan.
Within the palace lay a magnificent throne room. Gathered inside were one hundred High-Level Gods, fifty God Emperors, five Gods of Gods, and a single Half-Step Dimensional God. They were among the most powerful figures in the Fiery Crimson Star System.
The Half-Step Dimensional God sat upon the throne, his expression dark with rage. What had happened to the Sombabi Clan was nothing less than a direct slap to his face. He had dispatched all five Gods of Gods to thoroughly investigate the incident, yet they had returned empty-handed, unable to uncover any concrete evidence.
Suddenly, one of the palace guards standing at the entrance called out.
"My Lord, someone seeks an audience with the city leader. They claim it is an urgent matter."
The city leader, who was also the ancestor of the Yondi Clan, nodded calmly.
"Let them enter."
Moments later, a hooded figure walked into the throne room and bowed respectfully before the assembled experts.
The city leader looked at the visitor.
"Reveal yourself."
The figure slowly removed the hood, revealing none other than the Fifth Elder of the Bayoka Clan.
The Fifth Elder spoke in a respectful tone.
"I hope this footage will be of use."
He tapped his quantum bracelet, causing a projection to appear in mid-air.
The recording displayed the moment the Grand Elder appeared above Planet Sabiru. With a single move, he sealed the surrounding space around the land of Sombabi. Then, with nothing more than a flick of his finger, the natural elements throughout the entire region collapsed upon themselves, instantly exterminating every living being within the land.
The city leader of the Yondi Clan stared at the projection in disbelief.
"How is this possible? The last time I met him, he was merely an Elementary God. Only two years have passed, yet he has already reached the level of a God of Gods."
The Fifth Elder nodded.
"It is all thanks to the mysterious powerful being who visited our tribe shortly after he returned from the Golden Sands Star Region."
The city leader's eyes shone with interest.
"What is that person's cultivation level? What is their bloodline grade?"
The Fifth Elder slowly shook his head.
"I do not know."
Instead, he replayed another recording. It was the moment when the Hall of Scrolls began shrinking. However, despite the recording being perfectly clear, the mysterious figure of Elena appeared blurred in every single frame, as though reality itself refused to capture her existence.
Yondi's body trembled.
"That... that is a being above the Dimensional God level."
He inhaled deeply before continuing.
"How could such an existence willingly visit the Bayoka Clan? I must report this to the Devil Knight immediately."
He turned toward the Fifth Elder.
"The Devil Knight will reward you personally."
The next instant, Yondi vanished from the throne. He appeared before the Fifth Elder, placed a hand upon his shoulder, and both of them disappeared.
When they reappeared, they were floating in the vacuum of space near Planet Sabiru.
Yondi knelt on one knee with his back facing the planet before gesturing for the Fifth Elder to do the same.
Far away in the darkness of space, an enormous egg-like structure flew toward Planet Sabiru at an astonishing speed, traveling at five times the speed of light.
Three minutes later, it arrived before them.
The structure stood nearly fifty kilometers tall. Countless holes covered its surface, each one releasing streams of dark smoke that continuously poured into space.
The Fifth Elder immediately remembered one of the ancient scrolls preserved by the Bayoka Clan.
The enormous structure was known as a Demon Horde Nest.
It housed countless bloodthirsty creatures known as the Forsaken. These creatures were infamous throughout the universe because they relied upon negative energy as their source of life and strength, making them extraordinarily difficult to eradicate.
A black-clad figure slowly emerged from the nest.
He stood nearly fifty meters tall.
His pitch-black eyes resembled endless black holes capable of swallowing all light. A long spear rested across his back. The only feature that contrasted with his charcoal-black skin was his pure white hair, making his appearance both elegant and terrifying.
Yondi respectfully lowered his head.
"Greetings, Sir Knight. His Majesty's speculation was correct. Someone truly interfered with the seal."
The Devil Knight glanced toward the Fifth Elder.
"Is this the native you spoke of?"
Yondi nodded.
The Devil Knight pointed toward the Fifth Elder.
"Then receive my gift as a token of my gratitude."
Without warning, he vanished.
Before the Fifth Elder could react, his head separated cleanly from his body.
The Devil Knight casually tossed the corpse toward the Demon Horde Nest.
Instantly, one of the Forsaken leaped out, caught the body, tore it apart piece by piece, and devoured every last fragment without leaving anything behind.
The Devil Knight spoke indifferently.
"I am not foolish enough to trust someone who betrays his entire clan simply because his pride was wounded after losing face due to his own weakness."
Yondi remained silent.
Although shocked, he knew every word spoken by the Devil Knight was true.
The Devil Knight descended toward Planet Sabiru together with the Demon Horde Nest, while Yondi hovered above the planet's vast seas.
He slowly inhaled the air of Sabiru.
"My children, today is a glorious day. Feast until your darkest desires are satisfied. Paint this world's lands with blood, and find the secret artifact hidden alongside the Blood-Stained Sword."
The Demon Horde Nest trembled violently.
More than ten billion Forsaken creatures poured out from its countless openings.
Their deafening screeches echoed across the heavens of Planet Sabiru as they filled the skies.
Each Forsaken possessed two enormous wings, elongated forelimbs tipped with razor-sharp claws, shorter hind legs, long serpentine necks lined with rows of serrated teeth, and glowing crimson eyes that gave them an indescribably horrifying appearance.
The Devil Knight issued a single command.
Immediately, the countless Forsaken plunged into the oceans.
Every living creature inhabiting the seas became their prey.
Each Forsaken possessed the strength of a High-Level God. As they swept across the oceans, entire civilizations and countless powerful sea clans were effortlessly annihilated.
Some attempted to resist.
Yet against a horde of over ten billion mindless monsters, even beings at the level of a God of Gods could only flee for their lives.
Within thirty minutes, the oceans had turned crimson.
The sea breeze carried an overwhelming stench of blood as it drifted toward the continents.
The people living across the lands and icy regions witnessed the invasion through their surveillance systems.
Emergency alarms echoed throughout countless cities as every clan prepared for war.
Yondi looked toward the Devil Knight.
"Your Majesty, the other clans have discovered the invasion. They have begun declaring states of emergency throughout their cities."
The Devil Knight smiled.
"It is all part of my plan."
His smile widened.
"Where is the fun if they remain unaware of the calamity approaching them? I want them to drown in terror and despair. That is when the hunt becomes truly entertaining. Isn't it?"
Empowered by the overwhelming might of more than ten billion High-Level Gods, the Forsaken completely exterminated every living creature within the seas.
Nothing remained except an endless ocean stained with blood.
The Devil Knight pointed toward the icy lands.
The Forsaken rose from the crimson waters with blood-soaked bodies before shooting toward the frozen continent at breakneck speeds reaching eight thousand meters per second.
The moment they approached, hundreds of millions of battleships filled the skies while countless heavy weapon systems lined the frozen landscape, all aimed directly at the incoming horde.
On the distant horizon, a massive black cloud surged forward.
It was the Forsaken.
The ruler of the icy region, a God Emperor, raised his weapon and roared,
"Open fire! Charge!"
Instantly, countless warships and defensive batteries unleashed an overwhelming barrage of ammunition and energy attacks.
Several Forsaken were wounded.
However, as creatures sustained by negative energy, the fear and despair radiating from the defenders became nourishment.
Their injuries rapidly regenerated.
The defenders watched in horror.
Despite unleashing everything they possessed, the momentum of the Forsaken only continued to increase.
Their speed surged from eight thousand meters per second to twelve thousand meters per second.
The relentless bombardment achieved almost nothing.
The Forsaken ignored every injury, charging forward without hesitation.
In the distance, the Devil Knight calmly observed the battlefield.
A smile spread across his face.
He formed a series of hand seals before issuing another command.
"Hurry. Slaughter every last one of them."
Brilliant crimson light burst from the eyes of every Forsaken.
A mysterious seal appeared upon each of their foreheads.
Immediately, they divided themselves into thousands of smaller groups, each racing toward a different city, fortress, and defensive position throughout the icy lands.
The defenders on the surface, along with those hiding deep within underground bunkers, were mercilessly hunted.
The people hiding beneath the earth trembled in fear for their loved ones fighting above.
Unfortunately for them, the Forsaken possessed an extraordinary ability.
They could sense negative emotions, especially fear.
Every terrified heartbeat became a beacon guiding the monsters directly to their prey.
The surface was transformed into a massacre.
Soon afterward, agonizing screams erupted even from the underground shelters.
Many Forsaken infiltrated the bunkers through ventilation shafts and sewage tunnels before slaughtering everyone inside.
Meanwhile, the battleships in the skies suffered relentless assaults as the Forsaken smashed into them using their own bodies and razor-sharp claws.
The Devil Knight silently watched the carnage with satisfaction.
Only after witnessing enough destruction did he recall every Forsaken back into the Demon Horde Nest.
Without another word, he stepped forward and vanished through space.
Judging from the direction in which he departed, it was clear that his destination was the Makeke Jungle.
