Everyone in the room completely froze.
"I said," Naya repeated herself, slower this time. "What the hell is that on your neck?"
She took a step towards Caleb and he took one back. "It's nothing." He said shifting the shirt over the hickey.
"That doesn't look like nothing," Sophia said with a smile, turning the pages of a magazine she definitely wasn't reading.
Alice just stared at them from the back, legs crossed and maintaining uncomfortable eye contact with Caleb.
Covering the hickey, Caleb explained. "Naya," he said calmly. "Could we just go talk about this privately?"
"No." She placed her hands on her hips. "We're all friends here. Right?" She turned around and no one argued with her. "Who's giving you hickeys, Caleb?"
"Hickeys?" He repeated. "It's just one." He said, immediately realizing his mistake. Definitely not what she needed to hear right now.
"THAT'S YOUR DEFENCE? THAT IT'S JUST ONE HICKEY!" Naya screamed at the top of her lungs.
