Plot: In this chapter, we'll discuss the star system where the USKY and the Ysatnafians were born. Afterward, we'll discuss a subrace with unique origins.

Within the Royal Sector lies the Nest Star System, the site of the foundations of the interstellar kingdom USKY.

Ysatnaf is the first planet in the system and is the home of the Ysatnafians.

Recent Subraces: In recent centuries, a fourth subrace has appeared, called the Tabanians or Y-Tabanians, although they prefer the nickname of Sisters or Sisterhood of Tanabata.

Onacluv is the second planet in the Nest star system. It is a rocky, volcanic world, characterized by a tremendous wealth of heavy metals and rare minerals. It is officially classified as a cross between a Mining World and a Factory World.

- Builder Faction: The planet was colonized and developed by the Adeptus Mechanicus.
- Planetary Governor: The position is held by Kajun Faycott, who simultaneously holds the position of Lady Fabricator General.

Teal is the third planet in the Nest Star System. It is a Garden World, characterized by a landmass divided equally between 50% ocean and 50% forest. It was originally classified as an Agricultural World, but has evolved to become one of the richest and most self-sufficient colonies in the USKY.

- Status and Abilities: Renowned as one of the most powerful star mages and one of the best oracles in the Kingdom. Many people pay enormous sums to receive a premonition from her.

- U-Olga: Her name was originally Ula, but it was changed to U-Olga by Aurora as a birthday present for her mother.

Arahas is the fourth planet in the Nest Star System. It is a semi-arid world, devoid of oceans and characterized by rivers and lakes fed by the icy poles. It is described as both a rich and dangerous planet.
Geographical Composition
- Pure desert: 60% of the territory.
- Frozen poles : 10% of the territory.
- Savannahs, open grasslands and scrublands: 30% of the territory.
Classification and Economics
The planet is classified as a Livestock World, with the following production and interest sectors:
- Mining: The 60% desert makes open-pit mining and searching for crystals or heavy metals in exposed rocks easy.
- Ranching and Agriculture: The open grasslands are ideal for gigantic alien livestock farms and intensive grain cultivation.
- Biological Resources: Isolated thickets hide rare plants, poisons, and spores used for medicinal purposes.
- Secondary Sectors: Strong tourist and commercial interest.
Security, Society and Logistics
The territory is clearly divided between humanized areas and hostile areas:
- The Safe Zone (40% of the planet): Corresponds to the large cities. These are areas famous for trade, large martial arts competitions, high-speed car races, and coliseums for large-scale combat.
- The Danger Zone (60% of the planet): This corresponds to the desert part. It is threatened by giant worms, apex predators, and sandstorms.
- Desert Transportation: Landships are used to navigate desert terrain. These are massive, tracked land vehicles built to navigate rugged terrain. They function similarly to naval aircraft carriers or mobile fortresses, serving as civilian shelters, mining platforms, or warships.
Demographics and Curiosities
- Thep Khufan: Arahas is home to one of the largest Thep Khufan communities outside their homeworld. They find the hot, desert climate ideal, reminiscent of their home, and prove highly efficient at living and working in the desert.

Environmental contrast note: Ironically, while the main planet is mostly arid and barren, its four moons are small garden worlds transformed into fertile corners of paradise.
XXX Planet V: Gasorin XXX
Gasorin is the fifth planet in the Nest star system. It is an immense gas giant, visually characterized by gold and crimson noble gas storms.
Structure and Resource Collection
- Surface: The planet lacks a solid surface, making it directly uninhabitable.
- Infrastructure: It is surrounded by a ring of orbiting space stations, whose specific purpose is the collection and extraction of local gas resources.

The planet Gasorin has five barren moons:
- Configuration: All five natural satellites have been converted and transformed into a logistics hub combining factories, military bases and research centers.
XXX Planet VI: Aeroja XXX
Aeroja is the sixth planet in the Nest star system. It is a rocky world shrouded in a very thick atmosphere, constantly buffeted by strong winds and occasional electrical storms. Despite this hostile climate, the planet is rich in resources and has required very little modification to make it habitable. Due to its complex internal structure, it is considered a miniature USKY.
Administration and Profile of the Governor
- Planetary Governor: Chiyome B. Kazama.
- Royal Title: Eighth Princess of USKY
- Traits and Talents: Despite being fun-loving and a ninjutsu expert, she possesses a true talent for diplomacy and administration. She is on excellent terms with all her sisters (both older and younger) and her three younger brothers. Thanks to her friendly nature, she has created one of the most culturally rich, self-sufficient, and well-structured colonies in the Kingdom.
The Princesses' Prejudice
Many people were surprised by the kind of planet Chiyome built (even though she was forced to do so). In USKY, there's a prejudice that Princesses inherit their mothers' inclinations:
- The concept: If the First King's concubine is a witch, her daughter will be a very powerful witch; if her mother is a scientist, her daughters will be super-scientists, and so on.
- Chiyome's case: Her mother, Levi Kazama, is a kunoichi (female ninja), considered an extremely dangerous fighter and a master of wind-manipulating magic. Many therefore expected her daughter to create a Fortress World or a Pleasure World, rather than such an efficient administrative center.

The planet Aeroja has six moons, all fully colonized and densely populated. Each is home to a single Mega-City the size of Texas, characterized by enormous Mega-Skyscrapers. Each moon serves a specific function:

XXX Planet VII: Hyogaki XXX
Hyogaki is the seventh planet and the largest in the Nest star system. It is a pale blue and white ice giant, characterized by extremely cold temperatures. Its atmospheric currents create ice crystals that reflect the light of the yellow dwarf, making it shine like a gem in the system's night sky.
Political and Dynastic Significance
The planet is considered a true jewel by the Ancient Noble Families of Bahamut and Shiva. Both houses have a strong fondness for the cold, which is why they get along so well and, throughout history, have entered into several dynastic marriages.
Administration and Profile of the Governor
- Planetary Governor: Yuna BS Nox Fleuret (full name: Yuna Bahamut-Shiva Nox Fleuret).
- Royal Title: Nineteenth Princess of USKY, Sole Heiress of the Ancient Noble Shiva Family, Future Lady of Star of the Shiva Sector.
- Origin: She was born from the union between the First King Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont and the High Priestess of the Holy Church of Light, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret.
- Conception by Agreement: Unlike other princesses, Yuna was born through pure political agreement, not through any romantic or fortuitous bond. The First King, having to repay a debt of favor to the Holy High Priestess, participated in her conception as payment.
- Growth: Because of this agreement, Yuna had to spend the summer and spring seasons with her father at the Bahamut castle, and the autumn and winter seasons with her mother at the Shiva cathedral.
The Line of Succession and the Factions
Despite being the Nineteenth Princess, Yuna is considered by many to be the second (unofficial) heir to the throne of USKY. The dynastic situation of the Kingdom is currently divided around three key figures:
1) The Current Ruler: The Second King is Adara B. Kurata. He has no direct heirs, but is greatly beloved by the nobility, the masses, and artists.
2) The Official Heir: The heir to the throne is Beatrix B. Blight, CEO of Blight Galaxy Industrials. She is adored by synths, guilds, trade corporations, intellectuals, and lovers of vehicles, mecha, and cyberware.
3) The Second Heir (Unofficial): Yuna BS Nox Fleuret. She enjoys the full support of believers, healers, White Magic users, religious factions, conservative groups, diplomats, Knights, and a large portion of the Military.
Princess Fandom and the Marriage Debate
In USKY, there's an entire public fandom dedicated to the Princesses, with subcategories focusing on "ships" (romantic unions) and which marriages would benefit the Kingdom or not. Yuna's hand in marriage is considered a national treasure and the source of countless geopolitical debates. The three most discussed options are:
- Union with the Ifrit Family: Yuna's marriage to the heir of the Ancient Ifrit Family, which would unite three of the seven ancient noble bloodlines under a single bloodline.
- Union with the Tianchao: Yuna's marriage to Ying and/or Yang, the twin heirs of the Tianchao (an interplanetary enclave of 8 planets within the territory of USKY, founded by Adeline Wu Jones, younger twin sister of the First King).
- The Royal Ship (Adara x Yuna): The direct union between the Second King Adara and Yuna herself.

- The Seventh Moon (Tanabata): It is the planet's largest satellite. It is a massive moon, 44% covered by a subglacial ocean and 56% by high mountain ranges.

Immediately afterward, he immediately returns to work to surpass the goal just achieved.

The psychology and tireless approach of the First King are directly reflected in the structural and daily foundations of USKY:
1) The Education System
The Kingdom's teaching model and educational structure are directly influenced by the ruler's perfectionist and competitive mentality.
2) The Government Work System
A continuous production model is applied within government factories:
- Operation: Seven days a week, non-stop.
- Shifts: Each facility is managed by four separate teams.
- Schedule: Each team covers exactly one quarter of the day.
- Rest: A single day off is provided for each employee, assigned according to their specific schedule.
3) The Kamino Program
This program represents one of the most obvious signs of the First King's tireless and perfectionist nature. It is a direct example of what the sovereign is capable of devising and achieving (in a positive sense, for once) when left alone for too long.

The Current Educational and Military System
Thanks to the projects and structure of the education system created by the First King, USKY has acquired a powerful and well-trained army. New graduates are distributed according to the following percentages:
- 85% of new graduates join the PDC (Planetary Defense Command) and are divided between:
- SPECTRA (Special Paranormal & Extreme Crisis Tactical Response Arm)
- PIA (Planetary Intelligence Agency)
- PPF (Planetary Police Forces)
- PDF (Planetary Defense Force)
- SDF (Space Defence Force)

Note on service: Most of these recent graduates only stay in the military for five years (the length of a single tour), and then continue their careers in the civilian sector.
The Genesis of the Program
Although the quality of individual soldiers was already high, the First King wanted more. However, creating even better soldiers through traditional methods would mean destroying the childhoods of countless children, sabotaging the social lives of adolescents, and bringing countless trials and dangers to the lives of families. Because the First King is mad but not stupid or cruel, he understood that the current system could not be improved without causing harm.
For this reason, he decided to create a system from scratch, starting with entirely new subjects. Inspired by a certain clone army and a black government program for the creation of super-soldiers, the First King conceived the Kamino Program: mass-produced, bioengineered elite super-soldiers.
The Secret Headquarters
The First King traveled to Hyogaki and convinced his daughter Yuna to give him the seventh moon, Tanabata, to conduct a secret experiment, using the excuse of creating a highly classified research facility (which was only partially true). The secret base was built within the Tanabata mountain range.
The Technological Context: Homunculi and Skitari
The project aimed to address the limitations of existing biological technologies on Ysatnaf:
- Homunculi: Extremely capable artificial beings present on Ysatnaf. When properly created, they are superior to the average Ysatnafian and can easily live over a thousand years with proper maintenance.
- Skitari: They represent an attempt to mass-produce Homunculi. However, cellular acceleration causes countless problems: they cannot function for more than a few years and require cyberware and brain implants.
The Kamino Project was thus seen as either the greatest success in mass cloning or, alternatively, a total failure for the First King.
XXX Program Development Timeline XXX
The First King established as a cardinal rule that clone bodies would not grow through accelerated aging.
Phase 1: The First Generation Prototype (Years 0 - 22)
- Infrastructure: 100 cultivation pods are built.
- Subjects: 100 female Ysatnafian clones, unmodified, created using the Genetic Blueprint of an Astra Militarum S-Rank Ysatnaf.
- Growth and Incubation: The clones are kept in tanks until they reach the chronological and biological age of 8. During this time, their minds are trained and educated through neural implantation and an elite education system.
- Identification: Each subject receives a proper name followed by a serial number, from Alice-001 to Zelda-100.
- Awakening and Training: Upon reaching the age of 8, the clones are awakened one at a time with the assistance of a synthetic staff of Military AIs, created from scratch for this task. For the next 14 years, the 100 originals are educated and trained according to the curriculum of an elite Academy in Ysatnaf.
- Result at 22 years: The project produces 100 elite pawns, divided into 50 elite female soldiers and 50 elite female scientists, all classified at least Rank A.
Phase 2: The Expansion and the Second Generation (Years 22 - 44)
- Infrastructure: The laboratory is expanded and 1000 new cultivation pods are created.
- Relationships: The Original 100 work alongside the First King, who is seen and considered their Progenitor.
- Development of the Second Generation: The first generation oversees the creation of the next. During their eight-year growth in the pod, the new clones undergo standard military-grade gene therapy. Once awakened, the first generation members teach, educate, help, and love the second generation.
- Result at 44 years: The project produces a total of 100 cloned Ysatnafian Rank A females (the first generation) and 1000 cloned Ysatnafian Rank A+ females (the second generation).

The program's results are slow but steady. The First King, in addition to being a workaholic and perfectionist, also proves to be an insomniac capable of great patience when necessary.
The Kamino Project, running every 22 years, ensures the addition of 1,000 elite female operators, educated and trained to a higher standard than any civilian. Within the facility, there are no external distractions, as the entire project is their entire family. This stability is designed to lead to enormous progress over time.

At the 220-year mark since the project's inception, the community of sisters displays a complex social and logistical stratification:
Organization and Internal Roles
- The Original 100: They officially assume the role of main administrative and managerial figures of the entire community.
- The Warrior Ladies: They are responsible for territorial defense, patrolling external areas, containing local wildlife, cultivating crops, and maintaining general order.
- Nurses: Quickly becoming very popular, they provide cross-sectional assistance to all categories, with a strong specialization in emotional and psychological support.
- Psyker Ladies and Witches: They develop a friendly rivalry; they act as all-purpose figures capable of adapting to any task or logistical function.
- Lady Engineers: They manage the entire technical infrastructure, taking care of the design and construction of structures, clothing, weaponry and vehicles.
Logistics Development
The sisters expanded their settlement beyond the original boundaries of the mountain, building additional Temple-Fortresses in the surrounding territories of the Tanabata mountain ranges.
Official Program Announcement
The experiment has undergone a re-definition of its primary objectives by the USKY leadership: the aim is no longer the mere mass production of bioengineered elite soldiers, but now includes the study and sociological observation of the development of a civilization born entirely from artificial machinery and educated according to a Spartan system of education.

An internal competition is announced to select the best elements and establish a Brigade of 7,000 units to be attached to the Royal Guard of the First King.
- Impact on the Kingdom: Rumors begin to spread throughout the Kingdom about the "White Brigade," unprecedented female soldiers capable of holding their own against five elite warriors at once. The Royal Guard makes no official inquiries; the only requests for clarification come from Royal Advisor Ignis Scientia and Royal Guard Captain Gladiolus Amicitia. The First King's formal response was: "A project of mine is bringing in new blood and the future wives of members of the Royal Guard and Army."
12) Year 364 ARB (Project Duration: 264 years)
- Production: Twelfth Generation.
- Quantity: 10,000 Ysatnafian female soldiers produced.
- Total Staff: 51,900 sisters in total.
- Refinements: Optimized incubation processes: Sisters emerge from the pods at age 7. Overall reproductive capabilities are enhanced: subjects can now procreate with any biological species present within the USKY (and, presumably, with numerous other sentient species outside).
- Developments and Curiosities: The selective tournament for the assignment of new external military divisions becomes a regular institution. While the younger generations observe and prepare for the competition held every seven years, the dispatch of selected divisions occurs every six years. The selected units are sent to serve directly under the command of the Princes and Princesses of the USKY.
13) Year 386 ARB (Project Duration: 286 years)
- Production: Thirteenth Generation.
- Quantity: 10,000 Ysatnafian female soldiers produced.
- Total Staff: 61,900 sisters in total.
- Improvements: Enhanced visual acuity. The sisters gain the ability to see perfectly in total darkness and perceive light spectrums otherwise invisible to other biological species.

The Sense of the Move (Year 536 ARB)
The sudden reversal of Tanabata's production and status can be explained by the events of the following year: the First King cedes the crown to Adara B. Kurata, who becomes the Second King of USKY. The former ruler assumes the title of Rogue Trader Militant and sets out on an extragalactic expedition in command of the Voidwalker fleet.
To support the expedition, a contingent of 100,000 sisters of various generations join the fleet to serve in the Voidwalkers, with the parallel goal of establishing a new, independent Kamino structure within the Voidwalker Commonwealth.
The Current Situation (Year 550 ARB)
As of the current timeline, the project has permanently split into two galactic fronts:
1) On Tanabata (Nest System) : The original facility carries out the program established by the First King. The management and continuity of the site are ensured by the support and supervision of the Second King Adara B. Kurata and the Second Archmage Intendans of the Mechanicus, Blair B. Blight.
2) In the Voidwalker Commonwealth (Extra-Galactic Space/Artificial Plane): The new twin facility is active and producing 100,000 units, assimilating new technological discoveries made outside the Azure Galaxy. The T-Ysatnafians native to USKY are in the process of obtaining extra-galactic biological variants (or "cousins").
