Chapter 10 - WAR OF THRONE[CH=8][START OF THE FIRST GENOCIDE WAR]

We see the battlefield. On one side, the Kingdom of Rock's 1,500,000 soldiers were prepared to fight to the death for their kingdom. On the other side, 1,000,000 soldiers stood with their two commanders, ready to protect their kingdom.

Ashoka was watching the entire battlefield with his own eyes while standing on top of the border wall. Albert was also with him.

Ashoka said, "Albert, isn't our number of soldiers very low?"

Albert replied, "Prince, the number of soldiers in our kingdom is indeed greater than that of many other kingdoms. However, in such a short time, I have only been able to gather 1,000,000 soldiers because the rest are providing security at the remaining three border gates. I have already sent a message ordering half of those soldiers to reach Gate Number One by tomorrow because the war has begun. I also sent a message to the remaining commanders that the war has started and we need their help. I think they will arrive within three days at maximum speed. For now, if our 1,000,000 soldiers can hold them for one day, our chances of victory will increase to 70% because by tomorrow the armies from the other gates will arrive to help us."

Ashoka said, "I don't think that will be a problem because I am confident that those two commanders can hold them for one day."

On the other hand, Griffin said to Ragnar and Thane, the two commanders of the Kingdom of Rock, "Their kingdom only has two commanders present right now because their other three commanders are not in the kingdom. I also received information that they only have 1,000,000 soldiers because the rest are protecting the other three gates. So if we break through that gate today, we will win. As soon as we enter through that gate, we will attack their palace. If we capture the prince's mother, the Queen, then the prince will have no choice but to surrender to save her. But if we fail to do this today, we will not be able to win because by tomorrow the rest of their army will arrive."

Commander Ragnar said, "King, isn't this a do-or-die situation? If we fail today, there will be no other option left."

Griffin replied, "I know, but this is the only plan we have because we cannot defeat their army in numbers. Their kingdom did not earn the title of the Third Strongest Kingdom for nothing. And I also have another plan. Listen carefully."

The scene changed.

We see Ashoka talking with Albert.

Ashoka said, "Albert, what do you think? Should we launch the first attack?"

Albert replied, "Prince, I also think we should make the first move. They started this war, but we will be the ones to end it."

Ashoka said, "Then go ahead. Perform the Shankhnaad. I am giving you the order."

[What is Shankhnaad? It is an Indian tradition. In history, when Indian armies began a war against another kingdom, they performed Shankhnaad to signal that the war had officially started.]

After hearing the Shankhnaad, both armies began moving toward each other. The two armies clashed, and the genocidal war began.

We see Commander Kan-ki leading the charge with his cavalry. He cut off enemy heads and advanced rapidly toward Commander Ragnar.

Kan-ki thought, If I kill that bastard commander, then we will only have to deal with the other bastard, Thane, and their king, Griffin.

Meanwhile, we see an enemy soldier, a thirteen-year-old boy, fighting desperately.

He thought, I have to kill them. I have to kill them. No... no, we have to win. If we don't win, my mother will die. If we don't win, my sister will die.

A flashback appeared in his mind.

Before leaving home to join the army, he spoke with his mother.

He said, "Mother, when we win this war, our kingdom's starvation problem will also be solved."

His mother replied, "Take care of yourself, my son, and come back alive."

The boy smiled and said, "Of course, Mom. I'll come back alive. I promise."

His little sister then said, "Big brother, when you return home, we'll eat lots of food together."

The boy laughed and replied, "Yes, my little queen. When I return, we'll eat lots of food together."

Back in the present, he killed many soldiers. Then he saw Commander Kan-ki charging toward him. The boy tried to attack him.

Kan-ki said, "Get lost, little brat. I'm not here to play with you."

In an instant, the boy's head was cut off. It flew through the air before falling to the ground.

Tears fell from his eyes as he whispered, "Sorry, Mom... Sorry, my little queen... I couldn't keep my promise."

On the other side of the battlefield, Commander Vikram was killing many enemies simultaneously with his archery skills. His soldiers protected him so that no enemy could reach him in close combat.

While Vikram was killing enemy soldiers, one enemy noticed him and thought, He fights only with a bow. That means he isn't good at close combat.

The soldier attacked Vikram with twenty men.

Ten of Vikram's soldiers stopped ten of them, but the remaining ten managed to reach him.

Vikram saw them approaching. He turned and killed five of them at once with a single volley of arrows.

Then he drew his sword and killed the remaining five.

He said, "I know I'm not the best with a sword, but that doesn't mean normal soldiers can kill me so easily. I didn't become a commander only because of my archery skills."

The scene changed again.

Ragnar was slaughtering many soldiers with his glaive.

He said, "I didn't know the Kingdom of Power's soldiers were this weak."

Suddenly, Kan-ki attacked Ragnar with his sword.

Ragnar blocked the attack with his glaive and said, "So there are still some strong people alive in this kingdom."

Kan-ki smiled and replied, "So those are your last words?"

Kan-ki attacked again with his other hand, revealing a second sword.

Ragnar dodged the attack and stepped back twice, but a cut appeared on his face.

Ragnar said, "Well, I think you want to die early, bastard."

He swung his glaive at Kan-ki.

Kan-ki blocked the attack with one sword and said, "Your attack is weak."

Ragnar replied, "You can lie, but your sword cannot."

Kan-ki's sword shattered into two pieces.

Meanwhile, Ashoka spoke with Albert.

"Albert, why aren't you fighting? Go and join them. Support them. If you join the battle, it will boost our army's morale. You are the General. It is your duty to protect our kingdom."

Albert replied, "Prince, it is indeed my duty to protect our kingdom. But if I go to war, who will protect you?"

Ashoka said, "There is no way anyone can attack me. And even if someone does, do you really think they can defeat me?"

Albert replied, "Yes, sir. There is one man who I believe has the power to defeat you."

Ashoka asked, "What do you mean, Albert? You know that I possess magical powers."

Albert replied, "Yes, sir, I know. But even then, there is one person who I think can defeat you, and that person is Griffin."

Ashoka asked, "Griffin? You mean the King of the Kingdom of Rock?"

Albert nodded.

"Yes, sir. Please don't forget that he also possesses magical powers, and he has far more experience in battle than you."

Ashoka thought to himself, Griffin... I almost forgot that the other kings also possess magical powers. But what kind of power does he have?

Ashoka asked, "Do you know what magical power Griffin possesses?"

Albert replied, "Sorry, sir, but I don't know. However, I do know that he fought King Rajendra once. Obviously, he could not defeat our king, but rumors say that he almost destroyed King Rajendra's right arm. That is why I believe he is no ordinary man."

While Albert was speaking, he suddenly froze.

Ashoka asked, "What happened? Continue."

Albert pointed ahead.

"Prince... look. Look at the battlefield. This is the power of Griffin, the Kingdom of Rock."

Ashoka looked toward the battlefield and was shocked.

"What is that power?"

We then see Griffin entering the battlefield. Using his magical power, he controlled a mountain-sized rock and hurled it into the battlefield.

The impact killed between 100,000 and 200,000 soldiers instantly.

Everyone was shocked.

Kan-ki and Ragnar both stopped fighting to witness the attack.

Ragnar said, "Hey, enemy commander. What is your name?"

Kan-ki replied, "Why do you want to know my name, bastard?"

Ragnar answered, "Because your death is near, and I want to know the name of the brave man who fought me."

Kan-ki replied, "What do you mean, bastard?"

Ragnar pointed toward the battlefield.

"You don't understand? That attack means our king has entered the battlefield. That means I need to kill you quickly and return to support him."

Kan-ki smiled.

"Try it, bastard. Let's see who dies first, you or me."

Ashoka stared at the destruction.

"What kind of power is that? With such power, he can destroy our army in seconds. I have to stop him. If I don't, our army won't even be able to hold for a single day."

Ashoka turned toward Albert.

"Albert, I am entering the battlefield. Go prepare my armor."

Albert replied, "Sir, it is dangerous. I cannot risk your life."

Ashoka answered with a serious expression.

"Albert, it is a king's responsibility to protect his army. Do you think our soldiers have the strength or morale to withstand that power?"

Albert understood.

"Very well, Prince. I will prepare your armor."

Some time later, Ashoka entered the battlefield alongside Albert and his soldiers.

Albert's force consisted of 40,000 normal soldiers and 10,000 elite soldiers, making a total of 50,000 troops.

Eventually, Ashoka reached Griffin's location.

Ashoka shouted, "Hey, Griffin! You dare attack our kingdom and think you can get away with it so easily?"

Griffin laughed.

"I didn't think you would be foolish enough to fall for my trick."

Ashoka was shocked.

"What do you mean?"

The scene changed.

We see the First Gate standing open.

Commander Thane and his 200,000 soldiers had already entered the Kingdom of Power and were advancing toward the palace to capture the Queen.
