Roar!
A violent gust of wind surged as a thunderous roar burst from deep within the mountain. The roar was filled with rage—and just a faint trace of panic. The entire mountain began to quake violently, rumbling as if the earth itself were trembling in fear.
Then, with a deafening boom, a massive black python—hundreds of meters long—was yanked straight out of the mountain as though Wei Yang were pulling a carrot from the ground, gripping its tail firmly in one hand.
The black python was colossal, its entire body covered in glossy black scales, each one flickering faintly with a layer of thick black mist.
Its head was especially terrifying—not the usual serpent's head, but something disturbingly human-shaped, resembling a gigantic, twisted face of malice. Just one glance would make anyone's skin crawl.
No wonder this creature was known as the Ancient Heaven Demon Python. The moment it appeared, the sky darkened as storm clouds gathered above.
A surge of pitch-black energy condensed amidst the thunder and lightning, its aura incredibly oppressive. That terrifying demonic energy warped the magnetic field of the heavens and the earth, sending waves rippling through the atmosphere.
Winds howled. Thunder roared.
A pair of enormous, blood-red eyes—each the size of a house—hung in the sky like twin lanterns, radiating savage hostility and killing intent. The sheer ferocity of the scene made Xiao Yan and the others who had just arrived pale slightly, their hearts tightening in awe.
What a terrifying beast.
The disciples of the Flower Sect, especially, couldn't help but tremble—having nearly perished to this creature once before, the memory was still fresh and vivid in their minds.
Hissss!Bang! Bang! Bang!
The massive python thrashed violently in midair, its body cracking the very space around it like a whip. Each strike shattered the air with explosive sound, and the python desperately tried to wrench itself free from Wei Yang's grasp.
When it realized it couldn't escape, the python suddenly twisted its massive body and lunged, ramming its enormous head toward Wei Yang like a falling mountain. Its power was monstrous—after all, this beast had reached the peak Five-Change, and now it was attacking with its full might.
"Good! Come!" Wei Yang said with a cold snort.
In a flash of black light, his body expanded rapidly, transforming into a towering figure nearly ten zhang tall. One hand still gripped the serpent's tail firmly while the other lifted high—and then came crashing down in a single palm strike.
Boom!
Space itself exploded beneath his blow, the shockwave forming a fierce storm of raw force that lashed out violently—slamming directly into the python's oncoming head.
ROAR!
The impact scattered all the black mist shrouding the python's head, and even shattered several of its dark scales, leaving bloody cracks across its hide.
Hissss!
The python shook its head violently, dizzy from the strike. Then, opening its enormous maw, it spewed out a thick black beam filled with a nauseating stench that shot straight toward Wei Yang.
Seeing this, Wei Yang tightened his grip on the tail, gave it a sharp tug, and swung the serpent through the air like a gigantic whip—smashing the oncoming black beam to pieces with a thunderous crack.
Then, with a firm grasp, he soared into the skies, dragging the monstrous python with him into the storm clouds. Up there, his strikes became a storm of their own.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sight was utterly apocalyptic.
Dark clouds churned violently above, winds screamed, lightning danced.
Amid the chaos stood a black-golden giant, nine zhang tall, his form illuminated by flashes of lightning—like a wrathful god. In his hand, he held a hundreds-meter-long serpent as if it were a whip, thrashing it again and again.
It was as if divine judgment itself had descended upon the heavens—destruction and annihilation incarnate. The sky cracked and shattered in every direction, leaving deep, jagged scars of darkness in the air.
Clouds burst apart. Thunder dispersed.
Below, Xiao Yan and the others looked up, their faces filled with awe and disbelief at the scene of devastation.
With every swing, the thick black mist enveloping the python's body faded rapidly. Even with the Ancient Heaven Demon Python's legendary physique, it was beginning to falter under such punishment.
Yet, despite the agony, the beast's ferocity only grew—it thrashed even harder, its massive body twisting wildly as its blood-red eyes flared with rage.
"This thing is ridiculously tough… even after all that, it still has the strength to resist!"
The onlookers couldn't help but gasp inwardly. If it hadn't been for Wei Yang's absolute dominance, none of them could have handled such a creature—even together. That monstrous body alone—just one swing of its tail—could crush most cultivators instantly.
"So stubborn, even after all that?" Wei Yang muttered in mild surprise.
He'd been using it like a whip, smashing apart the heavens for several minutes now. If it were any ordinary Five-Change Dou Zun, they'd have been pulverized to dust long ago. Yet this beast still had the strength to resist.
No wonder—it truly lived up to the name of Ancient Bloodline. Judging by its reaction, the pain had only awakened its savage instincts even further. The python's resistance grew even more violent by the second.
"Hey, I don't believe that for a second."
Wei Yang gave a sharp shake of his hand and yanked hard. A terrifying force exploded outward as the body of the Ancient Heaven Demon Python was forcibly dragged before him. His other hand suddenly grew in size, clamping down viciously right on its seven-inch vital point.
One hand gripped its tail, the other squeezed its weakness—forcing the hundreds-of-meters-long body of the python to bend into a huge, rigid arc. Then, Wei Yang's leg lashed out fiercely, kicking straight into its head.
Boom!
The void shattered. Under the impact of that terrifying kick, a massive portion of the python's scales exploded, blood spraying wildly across the sky in a crimson storm.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He followed up with several more brutal kicks. Each one struck with such force that the Ancient Heaven Demon Python's skull nearly burst apart entirely.
After those few kicks, the python's head was throbbing in agony, and even its tense body gradually softened. Its once blood-red eyes began to lose some of their murderous gleam—becoming slightly clearer. The killing intent and savagery faded a little.
Seeing this, Wei Yang once again seized the tail, swinging the massive serpent like an enormous whip, relentlessly thrashing it through the air.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
He whipped it dozens of times, each strike splitting the sky with thunderous force. By the end, the Ancient Heaven Demon Python's scales were shattered and blood poured from countless wounds before Wei Yang finally stopped.
Now, when one looked at the Ancient Heaven Demon Python again, there was no trace left of its earlier ferocity. Its whole body hung limply, head drooping downward, tail dangling weakly above—it looked like a dead snake, drained of all strength.
In its eyes, there was no longer much hostility—only a faint, trembling fear.
Seeing this, Wei Yang finally nodded with satisfaction. He began to form hand seals, releasing streams of blazing energy. Those energy streams turned into fiery chains that wrapped tightly around the python's colossal body, binding it securely.
Then, channeling his soul power, he invaded the python's spiritual sea, forming nine layers of seals, completely shutting off its consciousness.
When he was done, the once-mighty Ancient Heaven Demon Python now had its eyes tightly shut, appearing as though it had fallen into a deep slumber.
"This Ancient Heaven Demon Python isn't bad. I'll take it back and give it to Qing Lin as a pet," Wei Yang said with a faint smile.
With a wave of his palm, vast spatial power surged forth, enveloping the unconscious python. That space power began to shrink rapidly. In just a moment, the massive beast was sealed into a transparent orb, no larger than a fist, which floated gently in Wei Yang's palm.
Through the crystal-clear orb, one could faintly see a tiny black snake curled up inside—its body covered in wounds, its eyes closed, as if it were a miniature creature trapped inside amber. Wei Yang nodded slightly, then flipped his hand and stored the spatial orb away.
A creature possessing peak Five-Change strength and such an incredibly powerful physique was indeed worth the effort of capturing alive. Once brought back and tamed by Qing Lin, it would surely become one of her most formidable subordinates.
High above, the dark clouds finally began to disperse.
The shattered space also started to mend itself rapidly. Wei Yang descended from the sky, landing beside Xiao Yan and the others.
"Finally, that savage monster's been dealt with," Xiao Yan exhaled in relief.
The group couldn't help but laugh, crowding around. Capturing such a terrifying beast alive and sealing it away—among all of them, only Wei Yang had the ability to pull that off.
"Time's running short. Let's hurry and find the Heaven Demon Blood Pool," Wei Yang said with a smile.
"Yeah," Xiao Yan nodded, his eyes turning toward the towering mountain still shrouded in thick black mist. A faint heat flickered in his gaze. Then, with a flicker of movement, he rushed toward the depths of the mountain.
The others quickly followed behind him.
