On the hospital bed, Sophia Hamilton was groaning in pain, her smooth, fair abdomen cut right open. Even with anesthesia, it still hurt.
"Mia,"
"Yes!" Hearing Sophia call her, Mia Foster quickly let go of Darling's little hand, walked over to the hospital bed, sat down sideways, and held Sophia's hand, asking with concern.
"What is it?"
Sophia covered her painful abdomen with one hand and winced, "Mia, trust me, having one baby is enough, it's too much suffering."
The excruciating pain was something she never wanted to experience again, like something was pulling her from inside, accompanied by a tearing pain below. After all that struggle, she still ended up with a scar on her stomach...
She never wanted to go through childbirth again, it hurt too much.
