Frida's pov:
"If you are still alive, get inside and peel the onions." the man sneered.
In the novel she remembered his name was Wager; he was not an important character in the book.
It's just that he and his wife were so wicked, she had flung her book across the room in fury of their mistreatment of the poor girl.
She had watched them mistreat her to death...but she supposed it was her fate to always die in this novel anyways.
And she guessed waking up in this girl's body was genuinely better than being beheaded.
So she sucked it up and forced a smile "You flipping witch what are you smiling about?"
Her smile pissed him off, although he had a hunchback he was very tall like a giant.
He pinched the tip of her ears and pulled her into the house "Careful you little brat don't think you can use those your magic tricks on me." he sneered tossing her towards a work table on three rickety legs.
