Chapter 37 - [36] Waitt!! Something's Missing?!

Angel narrowed her eyes, her mouth puffing just a little.

"The one I choose is..."

"I don't know yet!"

Angel threw her arms up in the air /(≧▽≦)/

"Well, I mean... I dunno yet in the sense that I can't seem to choose. But either way, let's see the requirements for all of 'em.."

Angel smiled a bit as she leaned forward, narrowing her eyes while she read.

Typically, what you need to apply is simple.

『Form 138 (report card), which basically shows your final grades from grade 11 and your first semester of grade 12.

You also need Form 137, which is a more detailed and specific version of the above and usually... isn't needed right away, but still...』

"After that is..."

Angel scrolled further into the requirements.

『PSA birth certificate

Certificate of good moral character』

It might not seem like much, but just asking for one of these is a pain!!

Like, you'd expect you'd get them the same day, but nooo. Some students would still have their request pending at the end of the semester.

It's that arduous for everyone!

"Now for the main problem..."

Angel scratched her head.

"My 2x2 pic..."

Angel muttered under her own breath.

Every university would want a piece.

If she were in her male body, that would've been easy... but...

Angel stared at her long hair draping down to her chest, then at those nice pair of mountains she has...

Yeah, she isn't Joseph anymore. And yeah, she'd need a new pic.

"Guess I need to go out then..."

Angel groaned as she stood up, stretching forward like a cat stretching after doing... nothing at all...

After stretching and yawning, she made her way to the living room where her mother was.

"Ma, can I have, like... I dunno, a hundred pesos? I need to get a 2x2 pic."

Angel asked softly, leaning forward and tilting her head slightly to make herself look cute.

"100? Sure... here."

As if ready for her request, her mother got a 100-peso bill ready from her pocket.

"Thanks, Ma!"

Angel smiled warmly as she headed outside to get her towel, then went back to her room.

In her room, Angel began preparing her attire.

"Now naturally, I would go for a simple plain t-shirt and pants. But that was when I was a guy. So today..."

Angel analyzed her current wardrobe, from the assortment of dresses, tops, and pants. She grabbed a few garments and smiled.

"This one should work??"

She laid down the classic button-down shirt and high-waisted mom jeans.

And again, she smiled...

"Yup, this looks plain and simple, but I bet it would look good on me!"

Angel jumped before catching herself lackin' and coughing.

"Anyyyyyways... Imma go and take a bath—then! We wear this mhm-hm!"

After taking a bath and smelling like cherry blossoms and strawberry, I walked to my room with a smile that couldn't be erased.

...

.

.

"Woahh!"

Looking at herself in the mirror, she knew with this body she could pull off any getup, but goddamn!

Angel had her long silver hair tied in twintails, and with the combo of her formal attire, it made her exude the aura of someone both serious and playful.

And frankly, she pulled it off very well!

Angel tilted her head a bit, and with a small smile on her face, she pressed her index fingers on both her cheeks.

"Kyun~♡"

Angel winked cutely at her own reflection.

"Pfft... Bwahahah~!"

Angel straightened herself up, a small blush creeping onto her cheek.

"I'm so ready! So so ready!"

With that, she grabbed her phone, put it in her pocket with the money, used the black shoes Mama lent her, and made her way out.

"Mamaa alis na po akoo! Papa!"

Angel waved her hand at her Mama sitting on the couch, and she smiled back at me.

"Always be vigilant, okay? Always look where you are going, ha? Wag kang gagala kung saan saan."

Angel nodded at her mom's words.

"Opo!"

With that, Angel scurried off.

"Mahal."

Angel's mother looked at her husband, who had just walked in from the backyard.

"Hm?"

"Why was she so excited?"

Angel's mom laughed.

"She went to get a picture. 2x2, she said."

Her dad, however, shook his head.

"I think she may have forgotten something more important."

"Hm? And what is it?"

Angel's mom turned towards her husband.

"Angel doesn't have any records at all—every record she had was when she was Joseph."

Angel's mother's mouth opened and closed, before turning back to the front door.

"Ah... right..."
