"Form a team?" Nick asked instinctively.
Almost the moment the same thought appeared in both of their minds, as if representing a successfully concluded discussion, a translucent blue screen materialized between them. Lines of text appeared across it in an orderly manner.
Silvanus glanced at it and immediately understood how it worked.
After forming a team, each member could see the other's location, know whether the other was alive or dead, and contact one another at any time, among other functions.
There were several options available.
They could form a team only for the duration of the dungeon, meaning that once this dungeon ended, the team would automatically dissolve. There was even an option to form a permanent team. Under such an arrangement, they would enter dungeons together, share loot together, and naturally be subject to much stricter requirements. There were even stranger options listed further down, but Silvanus didn't bother looking at them.
